Geraldine Ruth Scarlett
November 13, 1920 - April 20, 2002

Geraldine Ruth Scarlett, 81, of 509 West Street, White Hall, Arkansas, died Saturday, April 20, 2002, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Scarlett was born November 13, 1920, in Fornfelt, Missouri to the late Walter P. Kealy and Eva Ellen Bogue Kealy. She moved to Pine Bluff as an infant. She was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, where she was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School.
She married Mr. Carter Joseph Scarlett on August 3, 1940 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Scarlett very much enjoyed going to church, sending greeting cards, and visiting with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carter Joseph Scarlett of White Hall, Arkansas, daughter, Jolynn Scarlett Light of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, brother, Walter D. Kealy of Paris, Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Lola B. Daniel.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Robinson's.
Funeral Service is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at 11:00 A.M., in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son, with the Reverends Tom Scarlett and Tom Hover officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, attn. Building Fund, 7122 Sheridan Road, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, 71602.

Sue Johnson Berry
October 20, 1940 - April 21, 2002

Sue Johnson Berry, age 61, of White Hall passed away on Sunday afternoon at her home.
Mrs. Berry was born on October 20, 1940 a daughter of William E. and Kathleen Riley Johnson at Little Rock, Arkansas. She was reared in Little Rock and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1958. Sue married Harold Berry on October 19, 1984 in Pine Bluff. Ms. Berry graduated from University of Arkansas at Monticello with a degree in AD Nursing in 1976, and has additional hours of study at UCA, UAPB, UALR and UA at Fayetteville and UAMS. Sue's nursing career allowed her to serve as the Chairperson for the Department of Practical Nursing at Southeast Arkansas College (1988 to 1992), was a nurse at Jefferson Regional Medical Center for 16 years, and worked for Davis Life Care, Pine Bluff Nursing Home, Southeast Arkansas Area Agency on Aging, and was a substitute teacher at White Hall Junior high. She served as an affiliate faculty member at the American Heart Association, was a volunteer for the American Red Cross. She was also a member of the American Nursing Association and the ARNA. Sue was also a graduate of the Arkansas Real Estate Institute.
Mrs. Berry is survived by her husband, Harold; two ( 2) sons, Patrick S. Miller, and S. Todd Berry of Stuttgart; three (3) daughters, Mekka G. ( Chris) Spurlock and Mary Beth (Jimmy) Jackson both of White Hall and Christina ( Randy) Crossett of Hot Springs; and thirteen (13) grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two (2) sons, Kevin McCormick and Brian A. Miller.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 24, at Graceland Cemetery, 2118 W. Pullen, Pine Bluff with Rev. Gary Akers, officiating. The family will receive friends at 1000 W. Holland, White Hall.
Memorials may be made to the Central Baptist Church, 6107 Dollarway Road, Pine Bluff.

Lillian Harrell
November 04, 1912 - October 10, 2001

Lillian Harrell, 88, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, October 10, 2001 at Davis Life Care.
Born in Powhatan, Arkansas on November 4, 1912, she was the daughter of the late George Clayton Ross and Susie Horton Ross.
Mrs. Harrell was the owner and operator of Donna's Washeteria on Camden Road until her retirement in 1979.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Harrell, who she married on September 8, 1931, and three brothers, Charlie Ross, Eugene Ross, and Cleo Ross.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Stone of Pine Bluff, one sister, Pauline Barnett of Pine Bluff, one grandson, Jake Cantrell of Pine Bluff, one niece, one nephew, and many great-nieces and nephews.
The family will be located at 5806 Hampton Parkway.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 13, 2001, Robinson's Chapel. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to Immanuel Baptist Church,1801 W. 17th, Pine Bluff, AR 71603.

Elora D. Jenkinson
September 06, 1902 - April 25, 2002

Elora D. Jenkinson, age 99, of Pine Bluff, passed away at Jefferson Regional Medical Center early Thursday morning.
Mrs. Jenkinson was born a daughter of Jonathan William and Lenora Groves Wood at Crocker, Missouri on September 6, 1902. She was reared in Illinois and Missouri and moved to Pine Bluff in 1920 worked for the S.H. Kress Company. Elora married Leonard Jenkinson on June 7, 1924 in Pine Bluff. He preceded her in death on November 12, 1983. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints and the Gold Star Mother's Club.
Elora is survived by three (3) daughters, Mrs. Vonda Matthews of Pine Bluff, Mrs. Jeanne Hetu of Oregon, and Mrs. Patricia Duke of Redfield; eighteen (18) grandchildren, fifty (50) great-grandchildren and thirty-six (36) great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two (2) sons, William and Donald Jenkinson; two (2) brothers and two (2) sisters and two (2) grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2002, at 2:00 pm, at the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son, 807 Cherry Street, Pine Bluff. Bishop Mark Henscheid, will be officiating. Visitation will be held tonight, 6-9 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Pine Bluff.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

David Earl Estell
April 10, 1964 - April 28, 2002

David Earl Estell, 38 of Pine Bluff died Sunday, April 28, 2002 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born April 10, 1964 to James Clifford and Norma Wyatt Estell in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Mr. Estell was reared and educated in Pine Bluff where he graduated from Pine Bluff High School. He married the former Dawn Reiner on August 13, 1988 in Pine Bluff.
Mr. Estell was a truckdriver before becoming disabled in 1992. He was a Baptist by faith. Mr. Estell is preceded in death by his father, James Clifford Estell; and a brother, Michael Estell.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Reiner Estell; mother, Norma Wyatt Estell; sister, Susan Resinger; and his paternal grandmother, Thelma Wyatt all of Pine Bluff.
Graveside services, 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 2, 2002 at Roselawn Cemetery with Dr. John McClanahan officating.
The family ask that memorials take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association, 909 West 2nd Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72201 or the National Kidney Foundation of Arkansas, PO Box 453, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72203.

Pauline A. Harrison
December 10, 1914 - April 29, 2002

Pauline Alford Harrison, 87, of Pine Bluff died Monday, at Arkansas Convalescent Center.
She was born December 10, 1914 in Dora, Alabama to Edwin Lee and Catherine Porterfield Alford.
Mrs. Harrison married Reverend Roba Harrison, July 26, 1937, in Bokoshe, Oklahoma.
She assisted him as he pastored Assembly of God Churches in Oklahoma and Leslie, Marshall, Mt. Home, Fordyce and Leola, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Eddie Alford, and two sisters, Bonnie Canada and Estelle Miller.
Survivors are a son, Rondell "Ron" E. Harrison of Springdale, three daughters, Carolyn Stover of Pine Bluff, Wilma DeFoggi of North Little Rock, Tudy Dorey of Leola, nine grandchildren, Debbie Vereen, Jeff Stover, Rhonda Marie Harrison, Holly Jones, Robin Dorey, Tony Dorey, Carla Dorey, Dan DeFoggi, Darla Bolding, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son, with Reverend Bryan Jarrett officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery, in Leola, by Ralph Robinson and Son.
The family will receive friends at Robinson's, Wednesday, 6-8 P.M.
Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Children's Home of the Assemblies of God,P.O. Box 670, Hot Springs, AR 71902.

Elnora Deal Carter
October 16, 1919 - April 28, 2002

Elnora D. Carter, 82, of Pine Bluff died Sunday, April 28, 2002 at Pathfinder Healthcare. She was born October 16, 1919 to Joseph T. and Ollie Gill Deal in Waxahachie, Texas.
Mrs. Carter was reared and graduated from Pocahontas High School in Arkansas before moving to Pine Bluff in 1938. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Carter is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph T. and Ollie Gill Deal, daughter, Charlotte Carter; one brother and three sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Pam Kocher and Charlene Yates both of Pine Bluff and three grandchildren.
The family ask that memorials take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer Disease & Related Disease Association, 1002 West Markham, Suite B5, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72205-1412.
The family was assisted by Ralph Robinson and Son with the arrangements. There will be a private service at a later date.

David Glenn Moss
July 17, 1950 - May 01, 2002

David Glenn Moss, 51, of 4614 Aud Road, Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Moss was born July 17, 1950 in Pine Bluff, to the late Warner Marion and Jewel Inez Davis Moss.
He was reared and educated in Pine Bluff where he graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1969. He then attended ITT Technical Institute in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Mr. Moss was a Safety Officer at Jefferson Regional Medical Center for 20 years. He was currently employed at Bionetics Corporation where he was an Electronics Technician.
He attended First Assembly of God Church of White Hall. Mr. Moss umpired youth baseball. He also coached youth baseball and youth bowling. He was an avid bowler and softball player. He loved to squaredance and was a former member of Shirts and Skirts.
Mr. Moss is survived by his wife Linda Darlene Dickerson Moss, whom he married December 30, 1995 in Pine Bluff, three sons, James David Moss of Conway, Arkansas, Charles Anthony "Chuck" Aud of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Ted Wayne Aud of Star City, Arkansas, two daughters, Angela Renae Moss Minchew of Woodlawn, Arkansas, Amber Lea Aud of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and three grandchildren, one brother, James Moss of Ute Park, New Mexico, six sisters, Edith Williams of Albuquerque, New Mexico, June Neal of the Pleasant Ridge Community (Cleveland County), Bonita Hankins of Glendale, Arkansas, Sue Williams of Woodlawn, Arkansas, Pat Mosely of White Hall, Arkansas, Linda Wyles of the East
End Community in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Kenneth Ray Moss, one grandchild, Cyler David Moss.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 P.M. At Robinsons.
Funeral Services will be Friday, May 3, 2002, 2:00 P.M., at First Assembly of God Church of White Hall with Reverend Tim Law officiating. Interment will follow at Bellwood Annex Cemetery in Pine Bluff by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
