STAMPS, Ark. - Pairlea Hendren Hutton, 82, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at her home.

Mrs. Hutton was born July 7, 1922, in Miller County, Ark. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter - in - law, Lonnie and Betty Hutton of Trenton, N.J., and Harry Hutton of Texarkana; one sister, Ari Guthrie of Texarkana; two brothers, Manson D. Hendren of Texarkana and Maburn Hendren of Hot Springs, Ark.; four grandchildren, Laura Hutton, Elizabeth Cigainero, Amy Cousins and Robert Hutton; and a number of great - grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements were under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at 510 E. 43rd St., Texarkana, Ark.

Memorials may be made to Opportunities Inc., 6101 N. State Line Ave., Texarkana, Ark., 71854.

Malisia Coulter of De Queen, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004.

ASHDOWN, Ark. - Carrie Cross, 88, of Ogden, Ark., died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, in a local nursing home.

Arrangements are pending with Hamburg Funeral Home.

JAMES HERRINGTON

James Morris Herrington, 70, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, in a local hospital.

Arrangements are pending with East Funeral Home, Downtown.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

JAMES BELL

BENTON, Ark. - James W. Bell, 79, of Ashdown, Ark., died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, in Ashdown.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ashdown First Baptist Church. Arrangements are under direction of Roller - Ballard Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 70 N. Stewart St., Ashdown, Ark., 71822.

RICHARD ROWE

HOPE, Ark. - Richard F. Rowe, 69, of Hope, Ark., died Wednesday, June 30, 2004, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Rowe was born May 11, 1935, in Hope. He was a retired owner/operator of a limo service and trucking business, former sergeant of Hope Police Department, a former store owner and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters and three sons - in - law, Dianne and Jim Fowler and Sharon and Kevin Mangum of Weatherford, Texas, and Melinda Goad and Patti and Terry Bryant of Hope; two sisters, Martha Holt of Hope and Susan Grant of Bogalusa, La.; eight grandchildren; and five great - grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Carroll Bryant Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

GLEN HOMAN

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Glen T. Homan, 60, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, June 30, 2004, in Texarkana.

Mr. Homan was born Aug. 15, 1943, in Hot Springs. He was a retired truck driver and a member of United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marlies Homan of Texarkana; one son, Stephen Homan of Hot Springs; three daughters, Paula Carpenter of Little Rock and Dorothy A. Homan and Virginia S. Homan of Texarkana; two stepsons, Sascha Wilbert and Jens Wilbert of East Germany; two stepdaughters, Heike link - kuhner and Pia Schluetter of East Germany; his mother, Dorothy Homan of Hot Springs; one brother, Donnie Homan of Simms, Texas; two sisters, Linda Beam of Monticello, Ark., and Marlissa Straight of Palm Bay, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Hot Springs Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Riley officiating. Burial will be in Lowes Cemetery.

L.C. WITT

STAMPS, Ark. - L.C. Witt, 71, of Waldo, Ark., died Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at his home.

Mr. Witt was born Sept. 4, 1932, in Waldo. He was a member of New Bethel AME Church, Waldo.

Survivors include one sister, Annie Bell Smith.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Bethel AME Church with the Rev. Michael B. Harris officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Waldo, under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

REGINALD TURNER

STAMPS, Ark. - Reginald "Buster" Turner, 26, of Waldo, Ark., died Sunday, June 27, 2004, in McNeil, Ark.

Mr. Turner was born July 21, 1977, in Magnolia, Ark.

Survivors include one son, Reginald Turner Jr. of Magnolia; eight sisters, Rolonda Brown, Trogenia Turner, Laquesha Ware, Dawn Turner, Demetrius Sharp and Tracy Cornelius of Waldo and Teresa Turner and Courtney Turner of Magnolia; and seven brothers, Eric Turner of Minnesota, Jeremy Turner of Dermont, Ark., Gabrielle Turner of Brickley, Ark., Greg Weaver and Cory Turner of Waldo and Trozzie Turner Jr. and Chris Turner of Magnolia.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Arthur officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Waldo.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

ESTHER WATSON

Ester M. Watson, 55, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, July 1, 2004, in a local hospital.

Arrangements are pending with Lyles Funeral Home.

BISHOP JOHNSON

HOPE, Ark. - Bishop "Buddy" Johnson, 67, of Nashville, Ark., died Monday, June 28, 2004, in a local hospital.

Mr. Johnson was born July 14, 1937, in Ozan, Ark. He was retired from the City of Nashville.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Johnson of Nashville; one daughter, Priscilla Green of Nashville; two sons, Dewayne Green and Bishop Johnson of Nashville; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Roadside COGIC, Ozan. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

EVELYN FARR

HOPE, Ark. - Evelyn V. Farr, 82, of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Bodcaw, Ark., died Wednesday, June 30, 2004, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mrs. Farr was born Nov. 13, 1921, in Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church, Hope. She was preceded in death by one son, Arthur M. "John" Pine.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Farr of Texarkana; one son and daughter - in - law, Raymond and Joann Pine of Rosston, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and six great - grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Herndon Funeral Home with Austin Missey officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery under direction of Herndon Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

PAUL MIZE

Paul David Mize, 29, of Texarkana, Ark., formerly of Tulsa, Okla., died Friday, June 18, 2004, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Mr. Mize was born Oct. 6, 1974, in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was associate minister of Terry Mize Ministries and a member of Family Word Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jessica Mize of Texarkana; one son, Colton Mize of Texarkana; two daughters, Avery Mize and Kiley Mize of Texarkana; his parents, the Rev. Terry and Jackie Mize of Texarkana; one brother, Lynn Mize of Texarkana; two sisters, Lori Mize of Texarkana and Cristy Fieker of Hooks, Texas; his grandmother, Ima Joy Hall of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Trinity Baptist Church. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.

The family will be at their home at 4300 Senator St., Texarkana, Ark.

ETTA COLLIER

HOPE, Ark. - Etta Jackson Collier, 93, of Hope died Monday, June 21, 2004, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Collier was born Aug. 13, 1910, in Oakgrove community. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Leo Collier.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Eugene Collier and James Douglas Collier of Hope; two daughters, Dora Deanna Collier Launius of Hope and Sharyn Kay Collier Rust of Waskom, Texas; one sister, Hattie Jackson Allen of Hope; 12 grandchildren; and a number of great - grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Grove United Methodist Church with the Revs. Joe Miller and Austin Missey officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
