BLYTHEVILLE — Joyce Henderson, 50, of Blytheville died Oct. 14, 2008, at Great River Medical Center.
She is survived by a host of family and friends.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Prince of Peace Church at Blytheville with burial in Sandy Ridge Cemetery
at Burdette.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 at Wilson’s Blytheville Funeral Home.
Flora Belle Morris
JONESBORO — Flora Belle Phillips Morris, 79, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, Oct. 21, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cleaning and was of the Baptist belief.
She is survived by a son, Tom Phillips of Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter, Chris Garner of Jonesboro; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Eva Brooks of Bald Knob and Maxine Salverson of Hartford, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Phillips and John Morris.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Wynndel King officiating. Burial will be at Coloma, Mich., at a later date.
Honorary pallbearers will include the residents and friends of Southwind Heights and Craighead County Nursing Center.
Visitation will be from 5-8 this evening at the funeral home.
Sheila Mayhan Carter
JONESBORO — Sheila Ann Mayhan Carter, 47, of Jonesboro died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
A native and life-long resident of Jonesboro, Shelia was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and worked several years at Dillards Clarion Cosmetics. She was a Baptist and enjoyed working in her yard and with her plants.
Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Max Mayhan, in 1989.
Survivors include her husband, Alan Carter of Jonesboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Natalie Ann and David Lavender of Bay; one son, Matthew O’Neal of Jonesboro; one grandson, Mason Lavender; and her mother, Shelba Maxwell Mayhan of Jonesboro.
All services will be private. There will be no visitation.
The family requests no flowers. For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to NEA Humane Society, 6011 E. Highland Drive, Jonesboro 72401.
Doyle Gibson
JONESBORO — Doyle Gibson, 75, of Jonesboro died Sunday, Oct. 26, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
He was born in Cash on July 14, 1933. He attended Harmony Baptist Church and was a retired foreman at Frolic Footwear. He enjoyed baseball, hunting and horse showing.
He is survived by a son, Rickey Gibson and his wife Tammy of Jonesboro; a daughter, Susan Coleman and her husband Johnny of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, Chastity Gibson and her husband Tim and Candice James and her husband Evan; five great-grandchildren Kaben Gibson, Brayson Gibson, Addyson Gibson, Gracey James and Ella James; three brothers, Tommy Gibson of Mountain Home, Jerry Gibson and Larry Gibson, both of Jonesboro; two sisters, Inez Griffen and Brenda Lane, both of Jonesboro; and two step-sisters, Karen Brake of Jonesboro and Pat Guisinger of Orlando, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, H.L. and Noveline Gibson, and his mother, Alta (Hillis) Collins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Jerry Gibson and Larry Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Evan James, Dean Gibson, Chris Lane, Tim Gibson, Gerald Shoemaker, and Donald Johnson. Honorary bearers will include Joe Miller, Alvin McNatt and Dalton Lane.
Visitation will be from 5-8 tonight at the funeral home.

Hester Ladd Keller
TRUMANN — Mrs. Hester Ladd Keller, 87, of Jonesboro, formerly of Trumann, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at Ridgecrest Health and Rehab Nursing Center in Jonesboro.
Mrs. Keller was born in Cardwell, Mo., and had lived in Trumann for 61 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Trumann.
Mrs. Keller graduated from Arkansas State University in 1963, majoring in elementary education. She taught school for more than 30 years at Cardwell in the Southland school system, where she was known as Mrs. Hester Mai. She was an avid reader who loved to work word puzzles.
She was awarded the Literacy Teacher Award for NEA while volunteering at the Trumann Elementary School.
Mrs. Keller was preceded in death by her husband, Dorse Keller; her parents, James Fountain and Annie Mai Lester Ladd; three sisters, Wayver Brewer, Edith Ruthford and Naomi Elmore; and one brother, Debs Ladd.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. James L. and Caroline Keller of Greenville, S.C., and three grandchildren, Dixie Ladd Keller, James Venable Keller and Gabrielle Keller.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 10 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with the Rev. Charles Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Keller’s Chapel Cemetery
in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
Visitation will be held tonight from 5-7 at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
James Reaves
IMBODEN — James Reaves, 90, passed away Saturday.
Born to the late Claude and Jean Reaves, he was preceded by son, Ricky Reaves, three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include wife Maudie of home; son, Keith Reaves of Paragould; daughter, Maria Pitt of Rossville, Tenn.; stepson, John Blaylock of Hernando, Miss.; stepsister, Brenda Bailey of Bono; sister, Pauline Collins of Bartlett, Tenn.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Wayne Herring officiating and burial to follow in Hope Cemetery
in Imboden.
Visitation is tonight from 5-8 at the funeral home.

TRUMANN — Mrs. Geneva Robbins, 87, of Trumann died Sunday morning at the family residence in Trumann of natural causes.

Roberta Louise Stine
MESA, Ariz. — Roberta Louise “Bobbi” Stine passed away on Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at the age of 77 in Mesa, Ariz., where she resided for the past 12 years.
She was born in Paragould on Sept. 21, 1931, to the late Robert Hood and T. Ruth McCord Waters. She was raised by her mother and her stepfather, the late Thomas H. Waters.
She was retired after working many years in the health-care industry, and she was a Christian.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, James Waters; two sons, Frederick R. “Woody” Prince and Charles F. Stearley; and two great-granddaughters, Briana Washburn and Hailey Washburn.
She is survived by a brother, Harold Waters and his wife June of Paragould; two daughters, Dana Radu and her husband Jon of Mesa, Ariz., and Pam Taylor of Nashville, Tenn.; three sons, Mike Freeman and his wife Marsha of Jonesboro, Ken Freeman of Piggott and Paul Stine of Mesa; two daughters-in-law, Barbara Prince of Bono and Suzanne Stearley of Paragould; an uncle, Hurtis “Buddy” McCord and his wife Bernice of Paragould; an aunt, Bernice Benton of Paragould; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Freddy Prince, Paul Stine, Mike Washburn, Anthony Rabaya Jr., Kenneth Freeman Jr. and Joshua Freeman.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Ironwood Cancer and Research Center, Banner Gateway Hospital’s ICCU and Banner Gardens Hospice House for their care and support.
Sheila Raye Sullinger
LINEVILLE, Ala. — Sheila Raye Sullinger, 46, of Lineville, Ala., formerly of Paragould, died Saturday at her residence.
She was a homemaker of the the Methodist belief.
Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Luther Ray Sullinger, and grandparents, Finis and Maurice Williams and Floyd Sullinger.
Survivors include her mother, Jenny Lou Garner of Jonesboro; daughter, Mikka Ray Gilliam-Minor of Walnut Ridge; son, Cory Khan of El Paso, Texas; paternal grandmother, Maudie Sullinger of O’Kean; grandchildren, Michael Bailey and Calev Khan; sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Mike Taylor of Paragould; and Misty and Tommy Archer of Jonesboro; four nieces; six nephews; and one great-nephew; and several cousin.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12-1:30 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Heath Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Jay Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
