Timothy Don Hall

BONO — Timothy Don Hall passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, with his son Kaleb.

He was born Dec. 7, 1979, in West Memphis and was a car salesman with Car Choice in Jonesboro. He had attended Arkansas State University and Northeastern in Harrison and was an avid sports fan and loved to fish. Tim was a loving husband, son, brother and father.

He is survived by his wife, Kadie Danielle Hall; his mother, Donna Sue Hall of Jonesboro; his father, Jimmy Wayne Hal of Lepanto; a daughter, Kenlie Dawn Hall of the home; a brother, Todd Hall of Jonesboro; a nephew, Chadd Wayne Hall; two nieces, Hannah Browning and Haylyn Joe Hall; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro with the Rev. Ken Stallings officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery near Bono.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. today at the Gregg Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Ryan Long, Aaron Farley, Chris Cooper, Wade Rawlins, T.J. Moore and Bradley Weathers and as honorary pallbearers are the Iron Hawgs Riding Club.

Lasting memorials may be made to BancorpSouth for the benefit of Kadie and Kenlie Hall.

Edith Odell Loyd

MARKED TREE — Edith Odell Loyd, 88, of Marked Tree passed away Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Ms. Loyd was a member of Marked Tree First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Loyd; her son, Russell Lee Loyd; and her daughter, Eloise Harris.

She is survived by three brothers, Euborne Eudy of North Carolina, Johnny Eudy of Illinois and George Bryan of Gray, Tenn.; three sisters, Mary L. Striat of Illinois, Naomi Freeman of Las Vegas, Nev., and Clara Harris of Kentucky; three grandchildren, Nan Gollihue of Ohio, Robin Snashall of Ohio and Chris Harris of Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at Marked Tree First Baptist Church with the service following at 11 a.m. and burial following the service in Marked Tree Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Marked Tree First Baptist Church, 412 Liberty St., Marked Tree.

Susan Marie Peeler

JONESBORO — Susan Marie Peeler, 64, passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and entrusted to Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Robert Clark Savage

MEMPHIS — Robert Clark Savage, 77, of Memphis died at his residence on Aug. 20. He was formerly of Marked Tree and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are two sisters, Imogene Bennett of Memphis and Irene Smith of Henderson, Tenn.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Murphy Funeral Home with Jesse Hodges officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.

Murphy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lethel Woods

TRUMANN — Lethel Woods, 65, of Trumann died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Emerson Funeral Home.

David Anderson

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — David Andrew Anderson, 59, of Santa Cruz, Calif., passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at the Palo Alto Veterans Hospital.

He was a Vietnam veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father, T. Melvin Anderson.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Anderson of Santa Cruz; three daughters, Joy Anderson of Tyler, Texas, Eden Anderson of Dallas and Aaron Anderson of Wichita, Kan.; two sons, Thrasher Anderson of Dallas and Daniel Anderson of Wichita; his mother, Christine Anderson of Jonesboro; brother, Ronnie (Patsy) Anderson of Lebanon, Tenn.; three sisters, Sherrie Patrick of Jonesboro, Ginger Anderson of Oklahoma City and Leilani (Joe) Adams of Jonesboro; and eight grandchildren.

The family will hold memorial services at 4 p.m. Saturday at North Side Christian Ministries, 1315 North Bridge St., Jonesboro. Pastor Eldon Richardson will officiate.

Parvin Graham

BLYTHEVILLE — Parvin Graham, 79, of Blytheville died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro.

He is survived by his wife, Kathline Branch Graham; children, Becky and Van Nowlin of Mountain Home, Janice and Gean Stalcup of Batesville, Ronny and Angela Graham of Gosnell, and Susie and Sam Blaiss of Memphis; a sister, Virginia Wilson of Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. before the service.

Debra Jean Gray

PARAGOULD — Debra Jean Gray, 57, of Paragould lost her battle with lung cancer on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010.

Debbie was born June 21, 1953, to the late Evelyn and Howard Gray.

Debbie loved her family, all animals, cooking and fishing.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Lou Gray Robertson of Washington state; her children, Clarissa Gilliam-Cooley and Jennifer Gilliam-Cooley, both of Paragould; and her grandchildren, Kordova Winberry, Mitchel and Curtis Cooley, and Zachary and Jessica Holland.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Linwood Cemetery at Paragould with John Horton officiating.

Flowers may be sent to Phillips Funeral Home, 4904 West Kingshighway, Paragould 72450; 236-4904.

Ralph McGinnis

JONESBORO — Ralph Edward McGinnis, 55, of Jonesboro died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Hubert Smith; two brothers, Robert and Billy; and his grandparents, Ralph and Ruth Jones, and Benny and Stella McGinnis.

Survivors include a son, Dylan McGinnis; a daughter, Mallory McGinnis; a granddaughter, Addison McGinnis; his mother, Naomi Smith; and two sisters, Karen Brown and Shirley Hoozer.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Markham Cemetery with Ricky Clark officiating under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Betty ‘B.J.’ Schrader

MANILA — Betty “B.J.” Schrader, 81, of Manila passed from this life Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, and entered into eternal rest with her heavenly father.

Born Jan. 29, 1929, in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late honorable E.C. “Gene” Fleeman, former state representative and speaker of the House, and Lora Mae Milligan Fleeman.

A 1947 graduate of Blytheville High School, she attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas and graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo.

B.J. lived most of her life in Manila and was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church. She was the former president of Merchants and Planters Bank in Manila.

B.J.’s greatest joy was her family. She loved music and dancing, as well as painting and needlepoint. She was an accomplished seamstress, designer and gardener. She helped create the Manila Girl Scouts and worked diligently as a volunteer with the Red Cross Swim Program, UNICEF, the March of Dimes and the PTA.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her infant twin brother, Billy Gene Fleeman, and her sister, Peggy Cheadle.

B.J. is survived by her husband of 59 years, Max Schrader of Manila; four daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Jimmy Adams of Manila, Cindy and Russell Dougherty of Jonesboro, Cortnee and Jim Church of Charleston, S.C., and Carla and Kenny Moore of Jonesboro; and six grandchildren, Gene Adams, Jeremy Adams, Allison Church, Elizabeth Church, Stephen Moore and Taylor Moore. She also leaves four great-grandchildren, Anna Grace, Mattie Claire, Pierce and Beckett Adams.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Manila First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry Pentecost officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Barbara Tate

Dec. 11, 1948-Sept. 7, 2010

OSCEOLA — Barbara Ann Tate, 61, of Osceola died Tuesday in Memphis.

Survivors include her children, Carla Bogan of Osceola, Kamara Wright of Blytheville, Eric Tate of Luxora, Ronald Bogan and Anthony Tate, both of Hot Springs, Dewayne Bogan and Michael Tate, both of Memphis; brother, Richard Williams Bogan Jr. of Osceola; 24 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in St. John Full Gospel Church in Osceola with burial in Whiteside Cemetery.

Visitation will be tonight from 6-8 at Wilson Funeral Home.

David Troy Turner

HOUSTON, Texas — David Troy Turner, 44, loving father, husband, son and brother, passed away Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, in Houston, Texas. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

David was born Dec. 12, 1965, at Jonesboro. A graduate of Nettleton High School, he was an employee with Con-Way Freight Inc. He was a valued, hard-working man who enjoyed spending time with his family and his loving little buddy, JJ; hunting and fishing; watching old westerns; playing fantasy football; and keeping up to date with technology.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dee Troy Turner.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 22 years, Janet Turner; two daughters and one son, Ashley Turner and Kaitlynn Turner of the home, and Allen Turner of Jonesboro; his mother, Carolyn Lamb of Jonesboro; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Julie Turner of Jonesboro, Michelle and Tommy Shirley of Marshall, Texas, and Terry Vinson of Jonesboro.

He was a loving uncle to Savannah Shirley, Dakota Shirley, Crystal Welch, Laynce Welch and Peyton Welch, all of Marshall, and Kelsey Vinson, Brittany Vinson, Isabella Cockrell and Tristan Dixon, all of Jonesboro. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.

Visitation with the family will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday followed by a memorial celebrating his life at 2 p.m. with Bill Barber officiating at Emerson Memorial Chapel.
