Mrs. Stacy

Mrs. Vena Stacy, 85, of LaFayette, Tenn., formerly of Pocahontas, died Thursday in St. Thomas Hospital in LaFayette. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Stacy of LaFayette, Tenn.; three brothers, Doyle King of St. Louis, Mo., Herman King and Hurley King, both of Pocahontas; four sisters, Nadine Dunning of Corning, Juanita Phelps of Pittsburgh, Calif., Lavanda Hurt and Dorothy Harper, both of Pocahontas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daley Stacy, and a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 10 Monday morning in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home of Pocahontas, with Neil Inness officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Gardens of Pocahontas.

Visitation will be from 3 Sunday afternoon to 6 Sunday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Blevins

Mrs. Dorothy C. Blevins, 84, of Jonesboro, died Monday morning at her home. A native and lifelong resident of Jonesboro, she was the retired owner and operator of Blevins Grocery for 40 years. She was a member of Fisher Street United Methodist Church and the Senior and Friends group of the church.

Survivors include three daughters, Claudia Ming of Forrest City and Myra Buhrmester and Doris Wade, both of Jonesboro; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Blevins, in 1970.

Graveside services will be held at 10 Wednesday morning at Oaklawn Cemetery, with Rev. Larry Hunt officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Hendrix, Tommy Hendrix, Tom Carter, Bill Hendrix, Phil Hendrix, Elvis Pierce Jr. and Jerald Miller.

Visitation will be from 5 this afternoon until 8 this evening at the funeral home.

The family has asked that persons wishing to leave lasting memorials consider the St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center Hospice program or Fisher Street United Methodist Church.

Mrs. McCarroll

Mrs. Syble Marie McCarroll, 76, of Black Rock, died Saturday evening at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. A native of Eaton, she had been a lifelong resident of Lawrence County and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Mickey McCarroll of Bono, Billy McCarroll of Cabot and Jimmy McCarroll of Black Rock; two daughters, Sue Tretenburg of Black Rock and Brenda McDaniel of Jonesboro; three sisters, Clara Mae Ragan of Portia, Faye Wiles of Walnut Ridge and Mary Stogsdill of Virginia Beach, Va.; and five grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. "Jack" McCarroll, and by one grandson.

Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2 in the chapel of Bryan Funeral Home at Hoxie with Harold Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include Britt Meeks, Kenneth Meeks, Michael Ray Robertson, Billy Beasley, Billy Pearson and Phillip Parker.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cleveland

Mrs. Mathel Irene Greenway Cleveland, 90, of Paragould, died Sunday at Paragould Nursing Center. She was a homemaker, a member of the Pine Knot Church of Christ and the last surviving member of the David Markum Greenway family.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Boling and Dianna Jones, both of Paragould; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Telfer "T.W." Cleveland, one son, one sister, three brothers, two granddaughters and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould, with Jody McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Knot Cemetery.

Billy J. Smith, Adren Kent, Rick Gunn, Kevin W. Jones, Tommy Covington and Adam Hampton will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be B. J. Smith, Zachary Kent, John Gray, Jeremy Gunn, Zachary Gunn, Jason Hampton, and Christopher Covington.

Visitation is scheduled for this evening from 6 until 8 at Mitchell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hoots

Mrs. Lillian Ruth Hoots, 55, of Jonesboro, died Monday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Hoots, of the home.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Mrs. Foley

Mrs. Louise Howard Foley, 70, of Walnut Ridge, died Saturday at Regional Medical Center of NEA in Jonesboro.

A former employee of ASCS, Mrs. Foley worked in sales and was also a homemaker. Born in Smithville, she lived most of her life in the Walnut Ridge area and was a member of the Hoxie Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, Stan Foley of Huntsville, Texas; two daughters, Judy Ramer of North Little Rock and Janet Ross of Walnut Ridge; her mother, Mrs. Zay Howard of Smithville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 at Smithville Cemetery with Donald Layne officiating. House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held this evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.

Persons who wish to leave lasting memorials are asked to consider Children's Homes, 5515 Old Walcott Road, Paragould, 72450.

Mrs. Butricks

Mrs. Betty Butricks, 58, of Walnut Ridge, died Monday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.

Felty

Kevin Joe Felty, 23, of Paragould, died Thursday in Stanford. He was a farmer and a member of the Stanford Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Danny and Anna Felty of Paragould; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bonnie Felty and Allen and Wilma Hill, all of Paragould; one sister, Sherry Beasley of Paragould.

Graveside services will be Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at Mt. Zion Cemetery at Walcott, with Rev. Troy Gramling and Rev. Breck Freeman officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Brian Rowe, Karey Joe Felty, John Allen Felty, Casey Gray, Michael Exum and Matthew Miller. Honorary pallbearers will include Jonathan Peel, Allen Peel, Duane Norwood and Terry Don Norwood.

Arrangements are under the direction of Heath Funeral Home of Paragould.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 this evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kerr

Mrs. Ann Carlene Kerr, 71, of Paragould, died Monday at her home. Born in Rector, she was a self-employed bookkeeper and worked in a pastry shop in Eureka Springs. She was affiliated with the First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Kerr, and by a daughter, a brother and a grandson.

Survivors include one daughter, Sheila E. Harmon of Pekin, Ill.; two brothers, Harry Snyder of Rector and Bobby Snyder of Everett, Wash.; three sisters, Naomi Miller of St. Louis, Mo., Phebe Donham of Ashland, Ohio and Betty Jean McCraw of Bentonville; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10:30 in the chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector, with Harold Fisk officiating. Burial will follow in Mary Chapel Cemetery near Rector.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 this evening at the funeral home.

Qualls

Funeral services for Kenneth Darrell Qualls Sr., 63, of 305 Catfish, Lake City, were held Monday morning at Emerson Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel, with Michael Johnson and Gary Earnhart officiating. Burial followed in Cane Island Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Garrett Qualls, Barry LaFarlette, Kenny Miller, Ronnie Bruce, Kirkley Thomas, Danny Qualls and Michael Kelly.

Honorary pallbearers included Charles Smith, Seth Kieffer, Bob Cole, Floyd Johnson and Jack McCann.

Qualls died Saturday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center. He was a native of the Lake City area, and had lived there most of his life. He was a businessman, rancher and farmer and was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Caraway.

Survivors include his wife, Janie Qualls of the home; one son, Kenneth Qualls Jr. of Lake City; three daughters, Karen Bruce of Monette, Jill Miller of Cherokee Village and Debbie LaFarlette of Jonesboro; two sisters, Onita June Thomas of Jonesboro and Lawanda Slayton of Memphis; one brother, Jerry D. Qualls of Black Oak, and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

For lasting memorials, the family requested consideration be given to the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Caraway.
