Roosevelt Thomas, age 75, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003.
Funeral services were Wednesday at Morris Chapel Baptist Church, Keo. Burial, Morris Chapel Cemetery. Services by Derrick Gunn Funeral Home, Stuttgart.
Roxie N. Crilley
Roxie N. Johnson Crilley, 86, of Little Rock, a native of Lonoke, died Nov. 4, 2003.
She was employed for over 30 years by American General Mortgage Co., from which she retired. She was a member of the Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, Pulaski Heights United Methodist Women, and the Butler Sunday School Class of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her nephew, Larry Joe Johnson, of Lonoke.
A memorial service was held at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church Friday, Nov. 7, 2003.
Her cremains will be interred at Little Rock National Cemetery
at a later date. Arrangements by Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, Little Rock.
Mildred Woosley
Mildred Irene Woosley, age 80, of Carlisle died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003.
She worked for the Arkansas Employment Security Division for 30 years, retiring in 1981. She was a lifelong member of Carlisle United Methodist Church, where she was active in the chancel choir, the Builders Sunday School Class, and the United Methodist Women. She was also the Carlisle historian, a contributing writer for the Carlisle Independent, and an active member of the Carlisle Progressive Club and the Carlisle Alumni Association.
She is survived by two brothers, Dale Woosley of Mount Vernon, Ill., and Lester Woosley of Plano, Texas.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the First United Methodist Church, Carlisle. Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen was in charge.

Joseph Kalinowsky
Joseph Kalinowsky, 70, of Cabot, died Nov. 5, 2003.
He was a veteran of World War II and he was a member of Oblates of St. Benedict.
He is survived by his wife, Penny Kalinowsky; son, Stephen Kalinowsky of San Antonio; daughter, Karen Sansom of Little Rock; sister, Dorothy Krakemann of St. Louis; and four grandchildren.
Mass of Burial was Nov. 10, at Holy Souls Catholic Church. Interment was in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Rosary was Sunday, Nov. 9, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home.
Thomas C. Wilson
Thomas Crymes Wilson, M.D., 70, of Dermott, died Oct. 18, 2003.
He spent several summers in Lonoke with the Wilson and Crymes families, when he was younger. He served 14 years in the National Guard at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock where he served in the Medical Evacuation Unit. He was one of several doctors who believed in house calls, and worked several years in the Dermott City Nursing Home.
Survivors are his wife, Carolyn Hand Wilson of Dermott; a son, Thomas David Wilson of Monticello; a daughter, Kim Binns of Star City; foster children, Andy Morgan of Wichita, Kan., Vicki Newton of Monticello and Julie Hayes of Tillar; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was Oct. 20 at Dermott Cemetery, with Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home of Monticello in charge.
U.L. ‘Bill’ Hinkson
U.L. “Bill” Hinkson, 86, of Sherwood, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003.
He was a member of Sylvan Hills Community Church. He was Pillar of Solomon Award and Past Master of Sylvan Hill Masonic Lodge #754. He was a 33rd Degree Mason and Scottish Right of Arkansas and a Shriner in the Scimitar Shrine Temple.
He is survived by his wife, of 57 years, Wilma “Billie” Hinkson; one son, John Hinkson of Cabot; one daughter, Carol Young of Sherwood; one sister, Ruby McPherson of Sherwood; four grandchildren, David Parkman, Josh Hinkson; one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Hospice or Sylvan Hills Community Church Building Fund.
Funeral services were Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Sumner Cemetery
in Jacksonville.
E. H. ‘Pap’ Mathers
E. H. ‘’Pap’’ Mathers, age 68, of Butlerville, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003. He was an auto mechanic. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his brother, Harvey Mathers, and sister, Eula Mae Hatler, of Alamogordo, N.M..
Visitation was Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003 at Westbrook Funeral Home.

Briley Matthew Price
Briley Matthew Price, age 17, of Hickory Plains, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, as the result of an automobile accident. He was a 10th grade student at Beebe High School and a member of Hickory Plains Missionary Baptist Church.
Matt is survived by his parents, Bobby and Paula Briley Price of Hickory Plains; one sister, Meagan Price of Hickory Plains; his half-brother, Larry and half-sister, Laura; his grandparents, Bully and Nell Price of Hickory Plains, Pat Briley of Bryant.
Visitation was Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral was Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at Hickory Plains Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Hickory Plains Cemetery.
Jerry William Coburn
Jerry William Coburn, 71, died Nov. 11, 2003. Survivors include his wife Edna Coburn, 5 children: Jerry Coburn Jr., of Florida, John Henry Coburn, Patricia Ann Rice White, Mary Jane Maronay and Danny Ray Coburn, all of Stuttgart, an adopted son, Lloyd Meek of North Little Rock, 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Minnie Coburn, of North Little Rock, and Katherine Reynolds, of Jacksonville,
2 brothers, Marion Coburn of Missouri and Arthur Coburn Owens of Georgia.
Services were Friday at Concord UnitedMethodist Church with interment at Concord Cemetery, by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.
Kenneth Lee York
Kenneth Lee York, age 41 of Little Rock died Nov, 10, 2003.
Survivors include his mother Marie York, father Kenneth York both of Little Rock, and three brothers Larry, Jerry and John York all of Rosebud.
Visitation was Thursday, Nov.13. Graveside services were Friday, Nov. 14, 2003 at Mayflower Cemetery. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service of Cabot.
Glenna Montgomery
Glenna Ruth Fender Montgomery, 76, of Cabot died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James Montgomery; 2 sisters and her parents, Thomas E. and Anna Lee Fender. She is survived by 2 sons, James Michael Montgomery & wife Paulette, and Timothy Craig Montgomery & wife Judy, of Cabot; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Evans of Cordova, TN, Brian Montgomery, Kim Bell and Matthew Montgomery of Cabot; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; 1 sister; and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.

Gladys ‘Nellie’ Hulvey
Gladys “Nellie” Hulvey, 87, died Nov. 12, 2003. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Cecilia Hutson, of Lonoke, and a sister Inez McLean of England. Services were Saturday at Bethlehem Methodist Church with interment at Salem Cemetery, by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke. Visitation was Friday.
Eleanor E. Angus
Eleanor E. Angus, 88, of Cabot died November 17, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Angus, her parents, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. She was loved and survived by her daughter, Jan Jewell, her son-in-law, Buddy Jewell, and granddaughter, Erica Jewell, all of Cabot.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 6-7 p.m. at Cabot Funeral Home. Because of her love of autumn trees and the outdoors during Indian summers, her services will be held in the open air. Graveside services celebrating her life will be Thursday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery

Claud A. Grinstead
Claud Ardyn Grinstead, age 91, of Cabot died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003.
He was a life long member of the Church of Christ. He was owner and administrator of a nursing home until 1976.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Clifton Grinstead, and eight children, Bill Grinstead of Cabot, Leonard Grinstead of Cabot, Ardyn Grinstead of Ontario, Calif., Arlin Grinstead of Pine Bluff, Mary Grassi of Cabot, Margaret Grinstead of Little Rock, Claudette Bolin of Pine Bluff, and Evie Kelly of Janesville, Wis.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Monday at Roller England Funeral Home with burial in Mulberry Cemetery.
