John Duell Fink
John Duell Fink, 77, of Lonoke, formerly of Little Rock, died Jan. 11, 2004.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Cabot and was a retired warehouse foreman from Winnelson in Little Rock with over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his sons, John E. Fink, and Ronnie L. Fink; sisters, Martha Jo Freeman, Betty L. Freeman, and Anna Sue Crowder; and a brother, Jimmy Fink; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Jan. 14, at Roller-Drummond Southwest Chapel with interment at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville.

Cleo Carl Glover
Cleo Carl Glover, 87, of North Little Rock, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2004.
He was born in Cabot.
He is survived by his brother, William C. Glover; and a sister, Sylvia Rivenburg both of North Little Rock; one daughter, Patricia A. Moore of North Little Rock; two grandsons; one great-grandson; his wife, Susan Jendrejas Glover; and two stepdaughters, Elizabeth K. Hunt and Carolyn K. Bettinger; and one stepson, Albert J. Koscielny of North Carolina; two step-grandchildren; and one great-grandstepson.
He worked for the Arkansas Tuberculosis Sanitarium in Benton, The Koppers Company, ARKMO Keys Lumber Company, The Arkansas State Hospital, and retired as a nurse from the Veterans Administration. He was a member of the Washington Avenue Methodist Church and later the Gardner Memorial Methodist Church. He later joined the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Rosary service was Wednesday. Funeral service was Thursday at the Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Meeks officiating. Burial was in Glover Cemetery
in Lonoke County.
Rose Fern Brewer
Rose Fern (Isbell) Brewer, age 101, died Jan. 5, 2004.
Survivors are her four children, Russell Isbell and Sue Williams of Carlisle, Agnes Hartwick and Paul Isbell of California; 42 grandchildren, 96 great-grandchildren and 33 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday at Hamilton Baptist Church with interment in Hamilton Cemetery, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Mildred L. Simpson
Mildred Lorraine Branham White Simpson, 82, of DeWitt died Jan. 5, 2004.
She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church where she served as church clerk for many years. She was retired from DeWitt Footwear and DeWitt Nursing Home.
Survivors are son, Jerry White of Carlisle; daughter, Charlene Horton of St. Charles, and daughter, Diane Greenhill of Tichnor; sisters, Arlene Ferguson and Bonnie Reed of Gillett; stepdaughter, Frankie Langston of Harrison; stepson, Stanley Simpson of DeWitt; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Jan. 8 at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens by Essex Funeral Home.
Richard Lynn Eckhart
Richard Lynn Eckhart of Heber Springs died Dec. 22, 2003.
He was a World War II Navy veteran, and was an attorney. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Heber Springs.
Richard is survived by two sons, Edward Eckhart of Plano, Texas, and Larry Eckhart of Little Rock; one daughter, Susan Eckhart of Cabot; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service in celebration of his life was held Jan. 10, at First Presbyterian Church, Heber Springs.

Geneva Smith Hamon
Geneva Smith Hamon, age 86, a nine-year resident of Golden Years Manor, died Jan. 6, 2004.
She is survived by two brothers, L.S. Smith of Beebe and Tommy Smith of California.
Funeral service was Friday at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke, with interment in Brownsville Cemetery.
Annie W. Hamilton
Annie W. Hamilton, 70, of North Little Rock died Jan. 7, 2004.
Survivors are a son, Herbert (Alex) Hamilton; one daughter, Nedra A. Bush; one stepdaughter, Kim Mount; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were Jan. 14, at First Baptist Church, North Little Rock. Interment at Carlisle Cemetery. Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home was in charge.
Roland E. Worden
Roland E. Worden of Jacksonville died Jan. 9, 2004, at the age of 69.
He served as a Crew Chief on a C-130 during the Vietnam War. He retired in 1974 as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Worden; a daughter, Jo Ellen Allen of Jacksonville; a son, Douglas Worden Ward; twin brother, Richard Worden; brothers, Lee Worden, Paul Worden and Wayne Worden, all of upstate New York; and three grandchildren.

Raymond C. Dawson
Raymond C. Dawson, age 74, of Lonoke died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004.
He was a deacon of Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church in Lonoke and a retired construction superintendent after 36 years from Matson Construction of Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Coleman Dawson of Lonoke; daughter, Donna Johnson of Searcy; brother, Charles Dawson of Bryant; four sisters, Modean Kee of Hazen, Marcelle Raper, Margie Vail, and Joyce Floyd all of Stuttgart; and two granddaughters.
Funeral services were Jan. 11, at the Center Point Baptist Church. Interment was in Center Point Cemetery.
Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen was in charge.
Memorials may be made to the Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church in Lonoke or the Center Point Cemetery.

Lester Lee Davis, Sr., 53, died Jan. 11, 2004.
Survivors; children, Lee and Randy Davis, Tina Batty, Beebe, Tammy Davis,Ward, two grandsons, eight granddaughters, his mother Tiny Goodman of Cabot, brothers, Gene, Joe, Buddy and Raymond Davis and Jr. Thurmond and one sister, Lois Hicks.
Graveside Service, 2 p.m. Thursday at Butlerville Cemetery, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Morgan Hope Cook
Morgan Hope Cook, infant daughter of Dale and Natalie Cook, born Dec. 17, 2003, died Jan. 9, 2004.
Survivors other than her parents are her twin sister, Madelyn; a sister, Allison; grandparents, Trieber and Brenda Jones and Frank and Glenda Cook; great-grandparents, Elsie Phillips and Glen and Elsie Lee.
Graveside services were Jan. 12 at Sumner Cemetery, by North Little Rock Funeral Home.
