Robert Wallace Davison, 76, of Lake Havasu City passed away Saturday, April 12th, 2003. Bob was born April 8th, 1927 in Livingston, Montana. He was the only child of Earl and Edna Davison.

Bob was a World War II veteran. He spent 40 plus years working for the Alaska Railroad and retired as superintendent of transportation. Bob moved to Lake Havasu City, Az; about 20 years ago. He then worked on the Arizona California Railroad in Parker, AZ; as superintendent of safety/operating procedures. He was also the PSOTA Volunteer of the Year.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Kristina Katherine Edna Davison, 12 and his stepson Matthew A. Short, 23. His family said he will be remembered by many whose lives he touched.

A memorial service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church on Tuesday, April 15th, 2003 at 5:30 P.M. with Pastor Tom Dunham officiating.

His final resting place will be in Missoula, Montana.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Az. 86405.

Wesley Worton, 46, passed away on June 25th, 2002 at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Az. He was born on January llth, l956 to Bill and Sue "Riffenberg" Whorton in Pomona, CA.

Wesley was a sales manager for George Industries in Los Angeles, CA. for ll years.He moved to Lake Havasu City, Az. 9 years ago from Ontario, CA.

He is survived by his wife Crystal Whorton of Parker, Az., sons Jeramy Whorton of Rancho Cucamonga, CA., Chris Whorton of Victorville, CA. daughter Kara Whorton of Victorville, parents Bill & Sue Whorton of Prescott, Az., brother Danny Whorton of Prescott Valley, Az. and sister Lori Rineheart of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

The family request that donations be made to Hospice of Havasu.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Helen Beke, 63, passed away June 26, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born in Hungary on January 28, 1939 to Gyula & Ilona "Nagy" Barta.

Helen moved to Lake Havasu 2 years ago from Southgate, Michigan. She was a member of the Hungarian-American Cultural Center.

Mrs. Beke is survived by her husband of 44 years Karoly Beke of Lake Havasu; son Charles Beke of Lake Havasu; daughters Ili Newell of Clinton Twp, MI, Kathy Maloumian of Alta Dena, CA and 4 grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church Monday, July 1st, 2002 at 1:00 pm with Father Jorge Gonzalez officiating. the family requests donations be made in her name to Hospice of Havasu.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

William P. "Bill" Schreiber, age 88, passed away on June 25th, 2002 at Saint Anne Extended Healthcare in Winona, MN.

He was born in Winona on August 29th, l9l3, son of Andrew and Martha (Meier) Schreiber.

They later moved to Rochester, MN., where he graduated from Rochester High School. After retiring from the TRANE Co., LaCrosse, WI. in 1976, he lived in Lake Havasu City, Az. and Chula Vista, CA.

His beloved wife Elsie M. (Schultz) died May l5th, 1991 in Lake Havasu City, Az. shortly before their 55th, wedding anniversary. They had no children.

Bill was a USMC WWII veteran, an active member of the American Legion, member of Knights of Columbus and lifetime member of the Republican National Party.

His three siblings; brother Robert J., sisters, Virginia Walton and Elizabeth "Betty" Johnson preceded him in death. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Monday, July lst, at 9:30 AM. A memorial mass in Minona, MN. will be set for a later date.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Louis Arthur McDermott Jr., 76, passed away June 16, 2002 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born September 22, 1925 in Somerville, MA to Louis & Mary "Quigley" McDermott.

Louis moved to Arizona 13 years ago, 7 years ago from Huntington Beach, CA. He was a self employed truck driver for 45 years. He proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army.

He is survived by his loving wife Betty Jo Knight of Lake Havasu; sons David McDermott of Santa Barbara, CA, Dan McDermott of San Jose, CA, Mike McDermott of San Clemente, CA, Brandon Knight of Huntington Beach, CA, Randy Knight of Idaho; daughters Diane Tortolano of Los Altos, CA, Daryl Milanowski of Sunnyvale, CA, Dena Clements of Fullerton, CA, Shraddha Knight of Valley Center, CA, Monica Bates of Oakhurst, CA; brother Frank McDermott of Mass.; sister of Kathryn Satterfield of Mass. and 14 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 21 at 10:30 am at Riverside National Cemetery in Calif with burial to follow.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

A. Charlotte Jankowski, 76, passed away on April 16th, 2003 at Havasu Regional Medical Center. She was born February 12th, 1927 in Mount Holly, NJ.

Charlotte moved to Lake Havasu City, Az; 8 years ago from Clementon, NJ. She worked as a bookkeeper for the law firm of Archer, Greiner and Reed in New Jersey.

She is survived by sons Jerry Jankowski of Holland, Pa; Michael Jankowski of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughters Connie Venuti of Clementon, NJ; Marian Vanella of Maple Shade, NJ; and 4 grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Edward's Church, Erial Rd., Pine Hill, NJ; on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2003 at 10:00 AM. Friends can call at 9:30 AM. Burial will take place at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV; on Monday, April 2lst, 2003.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church Building Fund,1975 Daytona Ave. Lake Havasu City, Az. 86403.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Electa V. Stern, 91, passed away April 15, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born on March 15, 1912 in Ora Township, Illinois.

Electa made Lake Havasu her home 6 years ago, moving here from Encino, California.

She is survived by her loving family, son, Steve Hensley of Lake Havasu; daughter, Joy Austin of Sherman Oaks, California; sister, Betty June Patrick of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico and one grandson, Keenan Rex Hensley.

Graveside services and interment will take place Friday, April 18, 2003, 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
