Katherine Susan McFerrin, age 96, passed away on July 19th, 2003 at her residence in Lake Havasu City, Az. She was born December 16th, 1906 in Pittsburg, Kansas.

Katherine moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 10 years ago from Apple Valley CA. She worked for Consolidated Electro Dynamics in Pasadena, CA; for 20 years as an electronic assembler.

She is survived by her son Edward J. McDonald and wife Mona, daughters Maryanne K. Horton, Kathleen D. Conlan and husband Wes all of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sister Clara Wilson of Parsons, Kansas, ll grandchildren and 2l great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward J. McDonald Sr. and Eugene F. McFerrin.

Funeral services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Thursday, July 24th, 2003 at ll:00 A.M. with Pastor Lan Blair officiating. Burial will take place at Desert View Memorial Park, Victorville, CA; on Friday, July 25th, 2003 at 2:00 PM

Family request donations be made in her name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ. 86405.

Arrangements were entrusted by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Patrick Michael Maloney, 63, passed away July 21, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Homer Maloney & Mary (Combs) Wittman on April 14, 1940 in Los Angeles, California.

Mr. Maloney moved from Walnut, California 12 years ago to Lake Havasu. He was a Walmart Associate in Lake Havasu for 11 years.

Patrick was a proud member in the US Navy during Peacetime. He was also a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church and the American Legion Post #81.

Mr. Maloney is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Candice Maloney of Lake Havasu; sons, Michael Maloney of Bellflower, California and Scott Maloney of Long Beach, California; daughter, Bridget Lewison of Pinion Hills, California; mother, Mary Ellen Wittman of Lake Havasu; step-son, Matthew Thrall of Huntington Beach, California; step-daughter, Amber Thrall of Downey, California; son-in-law, Rick Lewison of Pinion Hills, California; daughters-in-law, Tania Maloney of Bellflower, California and Amanda Maloney of Long Beach, California. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Andrew and Molly.

Scripture services will be held Saturday, July 26, 2003, 1:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Jeff Arner officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

B. Morgan Vieweg passed away on August 4th, 2003 at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Az. He was born on February 9th, 1922 in Wheeling, WV.

He moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 8 years ago from Denver, CO; where he worked for Stearns Catalytic as a draftsman for 40 years. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post # 2461.

He is survived by his two sons Wayne and George Vieweg, daughter Evelynn Jean Donnan, brother Max Vieweg, 6 grandchildren and numberous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Denver, CO; on Monday, August 11th, 2003 from 7 to 8 PM. Graveside services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO; on Tuesday, August 12th, 2003 at 10:00 AM

Patricia Miller, 74, passed away August 5, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born September 15, 1928 in Defiance, Ohio to John and Pauline (McCarthy) Ryan.

In 1946, she married Melvin E. Miller who survives her. They moved to Lake Havasu City in 1989.

Pat is also survived by two daughters, Vivian Lewis of Crystal, Michigan and Constance Miller of Marietta, Georgia; brother, Allen Ryan of Suffield, Connecticut; a sister, Sue Synder of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; two granddaughters and three great grandchildren.

Her parens and a brother, John Ryan precede her in death.

A visitation will be held Thursday, August 7 at 9:00 am. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 7 with Pastor Tom Dunham officiating. Interment will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers she asked that donations be made to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405 or the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Carl Earl Eldridge, age 86, passed away on August 5th, 2003 at Havasu Nursing Center in Lake Havasu City, Az. He was born April 16th, 1917 in Chandler, Az; Eldridge is a pioneer family and Carl was one of 10 children of Earl and Josephine (Lewis) Eldridge.

Carl moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 14 years ago from Phoenix, Az. They owned and operated their own Air Conditioning business in Glendale and Phoenix, AZ; from 1945 to 1989. He also worked on the Manhattan Project during WWII in Oakridge, TN. Carl served as a Glendale City Council member, member of Glendale Rotary, president of Bethel Church Council in Phoenix, AZ. He was active in the Golden Kawanis in Lake Havasu City, AZ; and a member of the Mount Olive Lutheran Church. His hobbies were pitching horseshoes, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Marian of Lake Havasu City, Az; They were married on August 10th, 1961. Sons, Jim Eldridge and wife Carolyn of CA; Richard Eldridge and wife Debra of TX; Jerry Eldridge and wife Sharon of AZ; step-daughter Margaret Housel and husband Kenneth of AZ; brother Arthur Eldridge of AZ; sister Grace Eldridge of CA; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

We were fortunate to have him in our lives. Carl was always a gentleman. He was a kind,loving man and he will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 9th, 2003 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tom Dunham officiating. Inurnment will be at Mount Olive Columbarium Garden.

Helene Ann Konopka, 59, passed away August 7, 2003 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to Edward & Estelle (Czarneki) Lopacinski on August 9, 1943 in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Helene made Lake Havasu her home 6 years ago, moving here from Seattle, Washington.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Phillip Konopka; son, Michael Konopka of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Linda Konopka of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; sister, Susan Hoehl of Warwick, New York and one grandchildren.

Helene will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Margie Florence Smith, age 86, passed away on August 6th, 2003 at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Az. She was born March 1st, 1917 in Kansas City, MO.

Margie moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 12 years ago from Camdenton, MO. She was a seamstress in Kansas City, MO; for 55 years.

Margie is survived by her loving daughter Zona Lee Englert of Lake Havasu City, AZ.
