William Wesley "Bill" Klaus
William Wesley "Bill" Klaus was born on June 16, 1927 and raised in Earlville, Iowa. He passed away in Southern California on Dec. 9, 2004 at the age of 77. He was an Army Veteran and a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Journalism.
Bill was preceded in death by brothers, Ken and Dan Klaus; son, William Wesley Klaus II and daughter-in-law Renee Klaus. He is survived by his wife, of 55 years, Mary Ann Klaus; their son, Steve Klaus; daughter-in-law, Katie Klaus; grandchildren, William Wesley Klaus III and Brett Michael Klaus; brother, Robert Klaus; nephews, Kenny, Karl and Bobby Klaus and nieces, Karen Richards and Renee Perrone.
Bill was a pioneer in the marketing and advertising business for the paint industry and in 1975 moved his family from Atlanta, Georgia to Southern California to start up his own advertising agency, appropriately named, William and Mary Agency. Almost 30 years later he was working as hard as the first day of business simply because he had an extreme passion and love for his work.
Bill was an aviation enthusiast and a private pilot for over 55 years and logged nearly 10,000 hours of flying time, mostly in his twin engine airplanes. He also enjoyed playing golf, photography, traveling and spending time with his family.
Bill's family members wish to express their thanks to the many friends and co-workers who brought joy into his life. He will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts and donations to be made to the Visiting Nursing Association, 264 N. Highland Springs Ave., Building 4B, Banning, CA 92220. Who recently took such great care of his late son (William Wesley Klaus II) during his fight against cancer.
Family and friends gathered on Thursday, Dec. 16 at the Weaver Mortuary Chapel in Beaumont.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont.

Pauline O. Carter
Pauline O. Carter died on Dec. 12, 2004 in Beaumont. She was born in Lovington, New Mexico on nov. 27, 1909. She later moved to the Coachella Valley and met and married her beloved husband Henry D. Carter on Feb. 6, 1926. In early 1945 they moved to the beautiful Pass Area and settled in Beaumont. Henry Carter died in 1974 and Pauline has remained in Beaumont for the rest of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry D. Carter, a daughter Candace Roth and three grandchildren, Andrea Russell, Roland Al Russell and Joshua Martin Roth.
She is survived by four daughters, Sandra Russell, Salley Amato Fuqua, Susan Bradley and Shannon Thomas; she is also survived by her many grandchildren, Angelo Amato, Maria Thomas, Tiffany Hines, Brandon Bradley, Heather Bradley, Jasmine Roth, Jason Roth, Jamie Roth, Justin Kennedy and Lorie Thomas. She is survived by two son-in-laws, Bob Fuqua and Dan Thomas; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
All who would like to attend are invited to Memorial Services that will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 1174  Pennsylvania Ave. in Beaumont on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 4 p.m.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont.

Alfred P. Lerch, 87, of Banning, passed away at Heritage Gardens Health Care in Loma Linda on June 6.

Josephine “Jo” Nunez
Josephine “Jo” Nunez, 62, of Beaumont, passed away at her home on March 3.

Alex Joseph Wells
Alex Joseph Wells, 19, of Beaumont, passed away on June 4.

George R. Sass
George R. Sass, 86, of Cherry Valley, passed away at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in Banning on June 3.

Helen A. Brewer
Helen A. Brewer, 90, of Cherry Valley, passed away on June 11.

Frede Mildred Zachry
Frede Mildred Zachry, 80, of Cherry Valley, passed away Dec. 24 at her home in Cherry Valley.

Willard Netzley
Willard Netzley died on June 12 at the age of 83. Prior to retiring to Banning in 2002, the Netzleys lived in Rowland Heights, in the San Gabriel Valley, for 41 years.

Norman M. Binkley
Norman M. Binkley, 77, of Cherry Valley, passed away on May 13, 2007.

Raymond Watters
Raymond Watters passed away July 6 just a shy of his 94th birthday (July 19), following complications from surgery.
He was born in Los Angeles.
He attended schools in Los Angeles and North Hollywood and briefly college at UCLA before going into the U.S. Army Air Force where he served with the motion picture unit in Panama. After his military service he continued in the motion picture business as a lightning gaffer working with the camerman on many film and TV shows including The Partridge Family and Wonder Woman.
After 25 years at Universal, Warner Bros and many other studios he joined Lockheed in Sunnyvale, CA where he was on the camera crew filming their missle development programs.
In retirement he spent time in Reno, Nev., running the El Rey Motel, which he inherited from his parents and later moved to Port Angeles, WA where he enjoyed fishing for salmon and playing golf at the Penninsula Golf Club.
Six years ago he and his wife, Valerie Hall Waters moved to Sun Lskes Country Club in Banning where they became active with Firendship Club, golf and Bocci-ball league.
Watters is survived by and will be missed deeply by his wife, Valerie, his stepdaughter, Terri C. Hall, of Studio City,  Calif.; and neice and nehpew in Puebla, New Mexico as well as many friends and dear neighbors.
The Friendship Club of Sun Lakes Country Club is hosting a celebration of Watters' life on Saturday, Aug. 11 at 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. For information and RSV, call Valerie Watters at 769-3679.

Rosemary Padmore
Rosemary Pademore, 57, passed away Aug. 2 at her in Calimesa.
She is survived by her husband, William Padmore Jr.; daughter, Theresa Susan Alvarado (Randy), and son, Michale William Padmore, of Rialto and four grandhildren.
Viewing will be Friday, Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. Memorial Service at 11 a.m. at Desert Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park 11251 Desert Lawn Drive, Calimesa, CA 92320 (909) 795-2451.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Desert Lawn Funeral home.

Jane A. Turf
Jane A. Turf 62, of Beaumont passed away Aug. 4.
Born Nov. 12, 1944 in Poterville,  Calif. She had been a resident of Beaumont for 17 years.
Turf was a Inventory Control Specialist for 14 years at Deutsch Manufacturing.
She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Turf of Beaumont; Daughter, Kristi Estrada of Highland; brother, Ralph Dutschmann of Temple,  Texas; Sisters, Sara Elizabeth Rudkin of Bishop,  Calif.; Christine Karleta Dutschmann of Sunnyvale, Calif; and April Lee Thomason of Arkansas; caregivers, Sharon and Roamn and two grandchildren.
Turf ws preceeded in death by her son, Daniel Turf.
Graveside service will be Friday, Aug. 10 at 2 p.m. at San Gorgonio Memorial Park 2201 N. San Gorgonio Ave. in Banning.
Arrangements are being handled by Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont.

Julie Keating
Julie Keating 84, of Banning passed away Aug. 6.
Born on March 29,1923 in Brooklyn, Newy York, she had been a resident of Banning for 20 years.
Keating was a Secretary for the Seminary for 10 years. she belonged to Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic Minister, Lady 9ers Golf Club. Volunteered for th HELP of Banning. She liked to play golf, and was a very avid bridge player.
She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Keating of Banning, daughters, Kathy Greco of Boston, MA; Theresa Hurst of Potomac, MD; and Susan Halala of Brickville, Ohio; son, Kenneth Keating of Portland, Oregon; brother, James Davis of Tucumsari, NM and eight grandchildren.
Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10 at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church 1234 Palm Ave., Beaumont. Followed by private Inurnment at Riverside National Cemetery, under the arrangements of Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont.
