DINUBA -- Curtis Miller, 81, of Dinuba died Thursday, March 29, 2001.
He was a house painter.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Smith Mountain Cemetery.

EXETER -- Alan R. Helms, 41, of Exeter died Saturday, March 31, 2001.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today at Memory Garden Cemetery
in Brea.
Arrangements are by Smith Family Chapel, Exeter.
Elzora W. Hyde
Teacher
Elzora W. Hyde, 89, of Visalia passed away Sunday, April 1, 2001, in Palm Springs.
Mrs. Hyde was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, on April 15, 1911. She moved to San Diego, where she graduated from San Diego High School and San Diego State University.
Mrs. Hyde moved to Visalia in 1941, where she taught elementary school for more than 40 years.
She was an avid skier and loved the outdoors.
Her husband, Jeri Hyde, preceded her in death in 1955.
Survivors include a nephew, Robert Walton of Palm Springs.
A remembrance of Mrs. Hyde will be 4 p.m. Sunday in her home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Kaweah Delta Hospital Foundation Cancer Care Center.
Thelma Allean Percival Rautter
Thelma Allean Percival Rautter, 82, of Visalia died Sunday, April 1, 2001. She was a bookkeeper for many years, working during the 1950s for Main Drug and throughout the '60s and '70s for Visalia Homes and California Supply Co. on Mooney Boulevard. She was last employed for Coopman Realty as a Real Estate Sales Agent.
Thelma was born July 24, 1918, in Indian Territory, Okla. She was raised in Oklahoma and following high school graduation, along with her family, she moved to Holtville in the Imperial Valley in the mid-1930s. In 1938, the family moved to Visalia. On March 19, 1939, she married Charles F. Rautter. They returned to Holtville, where son Robert Charles was born. The couple came back to Visalia in the early 1940s. In 1942, daughter Nancy June was born.
Thelma was active as a charter parent member of the Visalia Rockettes Junior Drill Team, Goshen PTA member, member of the Tulare County Cotton Wives Association, and served for many years on the Board of Directors for Holiday R.V. Park in Pismo Beach. Thelma enjoyed her family, friends, needlework, RV'ing with husband Charles and spending time at the beach.
Thelma is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Rautter; son, Robert and wife, Loretta of Visalia; stepgranddaughters, Adrianne and Aleshia and their families. Grandson, Keith Rautter, wife Cory and great-granddaughter, Hannah Rautter of Texas; granddaughter, Alaine, husband, Jared Petticrew; great-granddaughters, Lacy and Lexie Petticrew all of Florida; daughter, Nancy and husband, Randy Hamill of Visalia; granddaughter, Alice, husband, Jeff Kampen and great-grandchildren, Randi June, Kassidy and Jacob Kampen of Tulare; grandsons, Charles Hamill, wife, Dori of Martinez, and Joseph Hamill, wife, Margaret and great-granddaughter, Joei Faith Hamill of Texas. She is also survived by three brothers, Gene Percival of Delano, Don Percival of Pollack Pines and Lynn Percival of Visalia. Thelma was preceded in death by her sister, June Percival Grissom, parents, Forrest and Alice Mabel Percival.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Visalia District Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hadley Funeral Chapel, Visalia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Thelma's name to Sansum Clinic, Santa Barbara, or to the donor's favorite charity.

CUTLER -- Reyes Rodriguez, 85, of Cutler died Wednesday, April 4, 2001.
She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cutler.
Rosary will be 6 p.m. today at the church. Mass will be 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
Arrangements are by Dopkins Funeral Chapel, Dinuba.
Anita S. Shannon, Homemaker
Anita S. Shannon, 92, of Visalia died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001.
Anita was born on Jan. 13, 1908, in Wellston, Okla., to George and Mary Smith and grew up in Wellston. She attended Edmond State Teachers College where she obtained her teaching credential and taught for several years. She then moved to California where she met the Rev. Gordon Shannon and they married and started their family. Anita was a homemaker. Anita was the wife of the Rev. Gordon Shannon who was the second pastor and first full-time pastor of Visalia First Assembly of God Church. Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Shannon, her son, Charles Shannon and a grandson, Kevin Shannon.
Anita is survived by Carl Shannon, Paul Shannon, Ruth Shannon, Joan Sanders and Mary Flint; her sisters, Reva Estes and Mary Crummey; grandchildren Debbie Brier, Kerry Shannon, Nancy Hermosilla, Michael Shannon, Kathy Shannon-Curry, Phillip Shannon, Charles Shannon, Lori Sanders, Ryan Sanders, Kim Flint, Victor Flint, Jaime Flint and Barbara Flint and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation 3-7 p.m. today at Miller Memorial Chapel, Visalia. Chapel services 2 p.m. Wednesday at Miller's Memorial Chapel.

DINUBA -- William David Runge WB6VDX, 69, of Dinuba died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001. He was a maintenance foreman.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dinuba, Eureka Masonic Lodge No. 75, LeRoy, Minnesota, member of FCC Amateur Radio Association, American Radio Relay League and Quarter Century Wireless Association. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Tankersley.
Survivors include his wife, Marcella Runge of Dinuba; two daughters, Judith Lewin of Visalia and Marcella Boteilho, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Smith Mountain Cemetery, Dinuba. Arrangements are by Dopkins Funeral Chapel, Dinuba.

He was a farm laborer.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tulare District Cemetery.

She was a retired school bus driver.
