SHIRLEY ANN CISMOSKI
Shirley Ann Cismoski died of cancer Oct. 25 at her Broomfield home. She was 57.
Cismoski was born July 30, 1942, in Galena, Ill. to Alverna Mary (Snyder) and Ralph Manson Segert. She married David Robert Cismoski on June 22, 1963, at Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church in Berlin, Wis.
Shirley graduated from Berlin High School in 1959. She graduated cum laude with a degree in science from Edgewood College of the Sacred Heart in Madison, Wis. in 1963. She went on to earn a master's degree in educational administration in 1972 and her doctorate in educational administration in 1983 from the University of Wisconsin.
Cismoski was actively involved in education throughout her life. She was a teacher in Wisconsin, worked for the Larimer County CETA program, obtained a Colorado real estate license, was the assistant budget director at Colorado State University and the budget director at the University of Colorado-Denver from 1991 until her retirement this year.
Cismoski was a member of The Nativity of our Lord Parish, Pi Lambda Theta and Phi Delta Kappa. Until her retirement, she held many positions in the Society for College and University Planners.
Cismoski loved to swim, take long walks, read mystery books, travel and spend time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cismoski is survived by her husband; a brother, Thomas Segert of Fairview Heights, Ill.; two sons, David Scott Cismoski and wife Theresa of Fort Collins and Paul Andrew Cismoski of San Francisco; two daughters, Debra Lynn Miller and husband Ty of Thornton and Cheryl Anne Hadlock and husband Scott of Loveland; six grandchildren, Jamie Cismoski, Erica Cismoski, Zachary Miller, Brandon Miller, Damon Hadlock and Jena Hadlock; and numerous cousins.
A cremation is planned. Funeral services with the Mass of Christian Burial were Friday at The Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Broomfield with the Rev. Dennis Ryan officiating. A private internment will take place later this year.
In lieu of flowers, two memorials have been established in Cismoski's name. One will benefit a women's scholarship at the University of Colorado-Denver. The second will benefit the Dana Price Fish Foundation to assist cancer patients. JOHN C. DRENNEN
June 27, 1947 - Oct. 26, 1999
John C. Drennen of Fort Collins, formerly of Lafayette, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, in Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. He was 52.
He was born June 27, 1947, in Philadelphia to Charles Drennen and Ruby Kindsfater Drennen. He married Judith Wilson Dec. 21, 1968, in Fallsington, Pa.
Mr. Drennen lived in Lafayette from 1976 to 1986, when he moved to Fort Collins.
He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Drexel University in Philadelphia and graduated magna cum laude.
He served in the Army from March 1967 to December 1970. He attended the Defense Language Institute in Fort Myer, Va., and earned an appointment to West Point.
He worked as a certified public accountant in Philadelphia. He became the first president of the former University National Bank in 1986. In 1994, he founded the Fort Collins branch of 1st Choice Bank. Most recently, he worked as chief financial officer for Cytomation Inc. in Fort Collins.
He was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church of Fort Collins, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountant, the American Bankers Association Taxation Committee and the Colorado Bankers Association. He was Business Person of the Year in Fort Collins Business World's 1991 issue.
From 1991 to 1995 he was a member of the Poudre School District R-1 Board of Education. He was a chamber of commerce's committee chair. He was a member of the Better Business Bureau board from 1989 to 1995 and served as chair in 1992. He was a member of the Front Range Community College Area Advisory Council from 1989 to 1995 and was chair in 1992.
He enjoyed golf and cycling.
Survivors include his wife of Fort Collins; his mother of Quakertown, Pa.; two sons, Justin Drennen of Fort Collins and Jared Drennen of Boulder; and a daughter, Lindsay Drennen of Denver.
A memorial service will be at 9:30 a.m. today at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 1601 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins. The Rev. Tom Glossi will officiate. Cremation has occurred.

BERNICE POHLMAN
Bernice Pohlman died of lung cancer Oct. 22 in her Broomfield home. She was 71.
Pohlman was born on Nov. 6, 1927, in Minnesota. She married Dale Pohlman in Minnesota in 1945. She worked for Lucent Technologies. She was a member of the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Broomfield.
She is survived by her husband; her mother, Sally Smith of Minnesota; a brother, Loren Joblinske and wife Bonnie of Minnesota; two sons, Barry Pohlman and wife Pam of Westminster, and Rick Pohlman and wife Diane of Broomfield; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

DENNIS LEE SCHNORR
June 22, 1949 - Oct. 28, 1999
Dennis Lee Schnorr of Mead, formerly of Boulder, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at his home. He was 50.
He was born June 22, 1949, in Greeley to Harry Schnorr and Edna Mae Buderus Schnorr. He married Susan MacIntosh on May 25, 1999, in Longmont.
Mr. Schnorr started his concrete construction business after he got out of college. He owned and operated Western Cement and All-Season Concrete. He worked on the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, and was the general contractor for the Saks 5th Avenue store at Cherry Creek.
He moved to Boulder in 1970 and to Mead in 1971.
He graduated from Fort Collins High School, where he was a three-sport athlete and a nine-time letterman, receiving High School All-American honors in his senior year in football.
He attended the University of Colorado on a football scholarship and was a three-year letterman, graduating in 1971. He remained active with the CU athletic program as a "C" Club member and was an annual financial supporter.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Longmont.
Survivors include his wife of Mead; his mother of Johnstown; three sons, Clint Schnorr of Norfolk, Va., Jake Schnorr of Longmont, and Jason Mager of Boulder; three daughters, Libby Schnorr of Longmont, and Jordana Mager and Stefanie Mager, both of Boulder; two brothers, Chuck Schnorr of Longmont, and Wayne Schnorr of Loveland; and a sister, Jeanette Jarman of Longmont.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman St., Longmont.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Johnstown United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Peter Fretag officiating. Interment will follow at Johnstown Cemetery.

Myra E. Chapel- Quenzer
Jan. 10, 1910 - Oct. 30, 1999
Myra E. Chapel-Quenzer of Longmont died at Berthoud Care Center on Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999. She was 89.
She was born Jan. 10, 1910, in Woodston, Kan., to Myron Chapel and Josephine Merriman Chapel. She married Carl F. Quenzer on May 24, 1948, in Stockton, Kan. He died in 1966.
A homemaker, Mrs. Chapel-Quenzer was a lifetime member of United Methodist Church of High City, Kan., and belonged to various ladies clubs in Kansas. She moved to Boulder County in 1992.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Gavin of Longmont and Judy Bell of Loveland; three sons, Douglas Quenzer of Sandoval, Ill., Clifford Quenzer of Valley Center, Kan., and Donald Quenzer of Norman, Okla., and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Erlinger Chapel, 2255 Mountain View Ave., Longmont.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bogart Cemetery
in Phillipsburg, Kan., with the Rev. Rick Dunlap officiating.

Mary Anna Bonneville
March 18, 1906 - Oct. 29, 1999
Mary Anna Bonneville of Louisville died Friday, Oct. 29, 1999, in Louisville. She was 93.
She was born March 18, 1906, in Deerfield, Mass., to Frank Dahowski and Sophia Janiec Dahowski. She married Eugene Bonneville on Sept. 1, 1930, in South Deerfield, Mass. He died in 1973.
She attended Deerfield Elementary School and graduated from Deerfield Academy in 1923. She spent one year during 1924 at the Ursuline Convent in Three Rivers, Quebec. She graduated from North Adams Normal School in 1926.
Mrs. Bonneville taught fourth grade in public school in South Hadley, Mass., from 1926 to 1930, and then taught first grade in public school in Pittsfield, Mass., for 24 years, retiring in 1971. She moved to Louisville in 1996.
She enjoyed gardening, poetry, crochet, knitting and embroidery.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Agnes Bonneville of Louisville; and one sister, Agnes Chapman of Washington, D.C.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church, 902 Grant Ave., in Louisville.

Kenneth C. Roberts
Aug. 6, 1913 - Nov. 1, 1999
Kenneth C. Roberts of Boulder died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, in Boulder after a lengthy illness. He was 86.
He was born Aug. 6, 1913, in Havanna, Ill., to William Roberts and Mima Pickard Roberts. He married Annie Mae Honeycutt on June 10, 1939, in Corona, N.M. She died in 1991.
Mr. Roberts was an engineer for the Santa Fe Railroad.
He lived in Belen, N.M., until 1998, when he moved to Boulder.
Mr. Roberts belonged to First Baptist Church of Belen, was a member and president of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Fireman and Engineers and belonged to the Brotherhood of Engineers. He also was a member and worshipful master of Bethlehem Masonic Lodge No. 56 and grand master for the state of New Mexico from 1976 to 1978. In addition, he was a member of the Scottish Rite, a worthy patron of Jessamine Chapter No. 45 Order of the Eastern Star in 1970 and served on the advisory board of Harmony Chapter Order of Demolay from 1949 to 1985.
Survivors include a son, Jim Roberts of Boulder; a daughter, Pat Rahn of Abita Springs, La.; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be in Belen.

John Kenneth Howe
March 12, 1918 - Nov. 1, 1999
John Kenneth Howe of Boulder died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, in Boulder. He was 81.
He was born March 12, 1918, in Spencer, Iowa, to Simeon W. Howe and Ninette Fortier Howe. He married Barbara Merritt in Chicago in 1949.
Mr. Howe worked for George T. Schmidt Inc. in Chicago and was president of the company when he retired in 1983, after 35 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II for five years and was discharged as a major.
Mr. Howe moved to Scottsdale, Ariz., from Chicago and to Boulder in April 1999. He was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife of Boulder; a daughter, Mary Manzi of Boulder; a son, John Howe of Santa Fe, N.M.; and two grandchildren.
Cremation has occurred.

Rebecca 'Becki' L. Salazar
April 26, 1948 - Nov. 1, 1999
Rebbeca "Becki" L. Salazar of Fort Morgan, formerly of Boulder, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, in Fort Morgan. She was 51.
She was born April 26, 1948, in Boulder to Harold O. Magee and Gladys McCauley Magee. She married Adolf Salazar in Boulder in July 1992.
Mrs. Salazar had worked as a cashier at Coastal Mart in Fort Morgan. She also worked for the Daily Camera in production.
She enjoyed needlepoint and word puzzles.
Survivors include her husband of Fort Morgan; five daughters, Tami Glose and Tiffany Reffel, both of Longmont, Tina Kielselback of Simsbury, Conn., Tonja Scott of Aurora and Toni Hotaling of Northglenn; a sister, Sandra Schartz of Kansas; a brother, David Magee of Longmont; and eight grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Private graveside services will be held.
Howe Mortuary of Longmont was in charge of arrangements.
