ALLEN R. BEMONT
WALLINGFORD — Allen R. Bemont, 87, of 976 North Farms Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1998, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Lillian Malchodi Bemont.
He was born Feb. 19, 1911, in Woonsocket, R.I., a son of the late Ralph and Eva Roys Bemont. He was educated in the Meriden schools and was a communicant of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Meriden. He was a lifelong resident of Wallingford and for most of his life he was a self-employed builder and carpenter in the local area. His major hobbies included sailing, gardening and reading.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Leslie Bemont of San Jose, Calif.; two daughters, Jane Hamel of Amsterdam Holland, and Sally Bemont of Windsor, Vt.; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Robert Michalke of Brattleboro, Vt.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Durwood Bemont.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Walnut Grove Cemetery Chapel, 817 Old Colony Road, Meriden. There are no calling hours. If friends so desire, gifts in his memory may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Wallingford, 701 Center St., Wallingford, CT 06492, or St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 20 Catlin St., Meriden, CT 06450. The B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., is in charge of arrangements.

MARY M. McDOWELL
MERIDEN — Mary Marion Golumb McDowell, of Hanover Street, Meriden, died Monday, Aug. 24, 1998, in Brittany Farms Health Care Center in New Britain, She was the wife of the late John F. McDowell.
Born May 29, 1919, in Webster, Mass., a daughter of the late Stanley and Antoinette Kochinska Golumb. She was a resident of Warwick, R.I., before moving to Meriden in 1969. Mrs. McDowell was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church. She was famous for her baking and had been known as the "Cake Lady."
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Matthews and Patricia DiStasio, both of Meriden; four grandchildren, Michelle Kojima, Robert Matthews, Renea DiStasio and Kathryn Smith; a great-granddaughter, Yuki Kojima; a sister, Harriet Clark of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Edward Golumb of Seattle and Jerry Golumb of Wyoming; and several nieces and nephews. She predeceased by two sisters, Stasia Kapitulik and Helen Pietruska, and a brother, Henry Golumb.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Wallingford. The Rev. Mark Jette, pastor of St. Joseph's Church, will officiate. Interment will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the Archdiocesan Office of Radio and Television, 785 Asylum Ave., Hartford, CT 06105-9932.

WILLIAM F. MOLESKY
SOUTHINGTON — William F. Molesky, 79, of 270 Jude Lane, died Monday, Aug. 24, 1998, at Bradley Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Margaret (Karr) Molesky.
He was born March 10, 1919, in Gilsum, N.H. He had been a carpenter and had worked for Carpenters Union Local 43.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, David and Dale Molesky of Southington; three daughters, Shirley Poulos of New Hampshire, Nancy Molesky of Florida, and Terry Richards of Meriden; two brothers, Anthony Molesky and Bernard Molesky of Gilsum, N.H.; a sister, Frances Bryant of Westminister, Vt.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at South End Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Center, 1261 S. Main St., Plantsville, CT 06479. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

MICHAEL J. BUNKO
SOUTHINGTON — Michael J. Bunko, 71, of West Center St. Ext., Southington, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1998, at Bradley Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Doris Sergan Bunko.
Born Sept. 26, 1926, in New Britain, son of the late Theodore and Anastasia Bunko, he was a Southington resident for over 40 years. He retired from UTC-Middletown and was in the U.S. Air Force. Michael was a member of Bristol Fish and Game, AARP and the Calendar House.
Besides his wife Doris, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Beth Bunko of Southington and Gary and Kathy Bunko of Plantsville; two sisters, Mary and Annie of Newington; and four grandchildren, Katherine, Matthew, Christopher and Kyle Bunko.
Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 28, with a Mass of Christian burial at St. Thomas Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Friday, Aug. 28, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Plantsville Memorial Funeral Home, 975 South Main St., Plantsville. Donations may be made to Southington Lions Club Eye Research Fund, P.O. Box 457, Southington, CT 06489.

CARL DICKINSON
MIDDLETOWN — Carl J. Dickinson Sr., 79, husband of the late Myla (Mugford) Dickinson of 330 Butternut St., formerly of Southington, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1998, at the Southington Care Center.
He was born April 19, 1919, in Middletown, son of the late Ernest and Laura (Miler) Dickinson. He was a life member of the VFW and the American Legion. Prior to his retirement he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Mary Dickinson Jr. of Southington; two brothers, Charles Dickinson of Portland and Harold Dickinson of Cromwell; a sister, Virginia Sierpinski of Middletown; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., Middletown, with the Rev. Mark Dunn Sr., pastor of the Third Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

RALPH DONARUMO
WALLINGFORD — Ralph A. (Bunny) Donarumo died suddenly Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, at Veterans Memorial Medical Center.
He was an engineer with EIS Brake Company in Berlin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two sons, Dean and David Donarumo of Texas ; and a sister, Genevieve (John) Alerino of East Haven.
Funeral services will be held Friday from the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Road, Route 80, East Haven, with a Mass of Christian burial in Holy Trinity Church, in Wallingford, at 9 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.

JOYCE MILARDO
CLINTON — Joyce A. Konopka Milardo, 61, of Glenwood Road, Clinton, formerly of Wallingford, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1998, in the Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven.
Born in Meriden, Dec. 12, 1936, daughter of the late Dr. Frank and Elizabeth Churchill Konopka, she was a Clinton resident for 30 years. A registered nurse, she had been employed by the Shoreline Visiting Nurse Association for several years.
Mrs. Milardo is survived by her two daughters, Tara A. Milardo of San Diego, Calif., and Beth A. Milardo of Clinton; her son, Paul S. Milardo of Clinton; her two sisters, Lynn Margeneau of El Paso, Texas , and Patricia Norman of Bethany; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Philip Konopka.
Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St., Ext., Wallingford, Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from the Wallingford Funeral Home when the funeral cortege will proceed to SS. Peter and Paul Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery.

WILLIAM A. MISCHKE
MERIDEN — William A. Mischke, 67, of 80 Hanover St., died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1998.
Born in Meriden, he was the son of the late John M. and Delia (Reilly) Mischke of Meriden. Mr. Mischke was employed by First National Stores in Meriden for over 30 years, and he was a veteran of the Korean conflict, having served with the U.S. Army.
Mr. Mischke is survived by two daughters, Christine Winslow of Bloomfield and Eileen Mischke of Meriden; a son, Keith Mischke of Wallingford; and by a brother, John J. Mischke of Middletown. He was predeceased by a son, Robert.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., and at 10 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial with military honors will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning prior to Mass from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

GERTRUDE E. SEITLINGER
MERIDEN — Gertrude E. Seitlinger, 91, of 274 S. Colony St., wife of the late Julius Seitlinger, died on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1998, at Veterans Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Meriden on April 23, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Keller. She graduated from St. Mary Parochial School and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary Church. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth Society and of the Meriden Council of Catholic Women.
She was the loving mother of three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Claire Seitlinger of Cheshire, David and Muriel Seitlinger of Yalesville, and Eugene and Carol Seitlinger of New Smyrna, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie Ann and Edward Kranich of Meriden. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, a sister and brother-in-law, Madeline and Thomas McDermott; and by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Seitlinger was predeceased by a daughter, Adrienne C. Roberts; by two sisters, Elizabeth Deno and Martha Gemske; and by two brothers, John and Joseph Keller.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning prior to Mass from 9 to 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the St. Mary Church and School Fund, 5 Sherman Place, Meriden, CT 06451.
