Macular degeneration took her eyesight, but not her spirit to live. She was a role model for anyone suffering from this disease. Mildred's enthusiasm for life was an example to everyone she met. She kept our family together for so many years, and now it's her turn to be in peace. Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on-in each of us.
