Pasquale Razzano of 902 Townsend Avenue in New Haven died October 5, 2004 in the Hospital of St. Raphael. He was the husband of Angela Ianotti Razzano. Mr. Razzano was born in Amorosi, Italy May 13, 1927 a son of the late Clemente and Rosa Razzano and was a tailor at Arthur M. Rosenberg. He is the father of Rosanna (Gary) Sink and Marilena Razzano, brother of Nicola Razzano and the late Vincenzo Razzano and the grandfather of Brian and Daniel.
Funeral from the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place Saturday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church at 9. Entombment in All Saints Mausoleum. Family and friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Victoria Colacino of 88 Lyon Street died October 8, 2004 in Connecticut Hospice. She was born in New Haven April 10, 1916 a daughter of the late Joseph and Elvira Vicedomini Colacino and was a seamstress at Mode Manufacturing for many years. She is the sister of Louise (Edward) Mortimer, George Colacino and the late Alfred Colacino and sister-in-law of Claire Colacino. Aunt of Joseph and Betty, Michael, Eric and Annette, Robert and Kim Colacino and Edward, John, Vickie, Michael and Deborah Mortimer. She is also survived by great nieces and a great nephew. Victoria was always ready to hepl her family and friends in need and will be greatly missed.

Antoinette Mongillo Marra of 108 Arch St. Hamden died October 9 in Danbury. She was the wife of the late Gaetano Marra. She was born in Italy May 30, 1910 a daughter of the late Carmen and Christina Fappiano Mongillo and was a seamstress for many years. Aunt of Vincent and Lois Maresca Gradasso and Nino Mongillo. Sister of the late Santina Gradasso, Michelina and Francesco Mongillo and also survived by 2 grand nephews and 1 grand niece.

Carmel Carrano, 81, of 102 Townsend Terrace, New Haven, died on Saturday, October 9, at Connecticut Hospice in Branford.
Born in New Haven on January 20, 1923, she was raised by her late Italian father and mother, Fabiano Valeriano and Rose Pecaro, with sister Rae Angelone and late brother Andrew Valeriano. She was a life long resident of New Haven and active in the community. She worked at New Haven Savings Bank as a Clerk/Teller for 20 years. She was active in New Haven Democratic Politics, an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society, and a volunteer reader to school children. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Andrew Carrano of New Haven, sons Andrew Carrano of New Haven and Anthony Carrano and wife Nancy Kyger of Madison; grandchildren Valeria Carrano, Catherine and Elizabeth Kyger of Madison; sister Rae Angelone of Cheshire and many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind many people who will forever love and miss her.

Joseph A. (Boozer) Fernandez, Jr. of 15 Welcome Street New Haven died October 9, 2004 in Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
He was born in New Haven May 2, 1963 a son of Joseph A. Fernandez Sr. (Diaz) and Irene Willette Fernandez. Joseph had worked for the City of New Haven for 19 years.
He is the brother of Arlene Santa Maria and uncle of Michael Santa Maria. He is also survived by special and devoted friends Matthew Rogers, Joseph, Janine and Mark Lomartra and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends may call Wednesday morning from 9-10:30 at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. 11 Wooster Place. Catholic services will be held in the funeral home at 10:30. Burial in All Saints Cemetery.

Jean (Chickie) Adinolfi Meglio of 80 Cedar Street in Branford, formerly of 97 Northford Road in Brnaford, died October 17, 2004 in Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of William Meglio. Mrs. Meglio was born in New Haven June 24, 1913 a daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Perry Adinolfi and worked for the former Harold Hahn Co. She and her husband were married for 42 years. She is the mother of Carol (Chuck) Dombrowski and the late PFC William Meglio, sister of the late Edna Grasso, Rose Bescher, Nancy Bonnano, Salvatore, Maurice and Francis Adinolfi and grandmother of Michelle Tripp and her husband Scott. She is the lifelong friend of Antoinette Bauer.

KENNEY, GEORGE M.
February 1, 2010
George M. Kenney, 64, of 19 Leetes Island Road, Branford passed away suddenly Feb. 1, 2010 in St. Raphael’s Hospital after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Kim C. Kenney. Born in Holyoke, MA. On Nov. 30, 1945, he was the son of the late Thomas and Alida Kenney. He operated Ken’s Dry Cleaners in West Haven until his retirement. Prior to that, he worked at Barrie, Ltd. on York St., New Haven. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Ted Kenney of Branford and four grandchildren, Bianca, Ted Jr., Anthony & Jake. He was predeceased by a daughter, Caterina Riddick. Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Wintergreen Hills Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 885 Wintergreen Ave., Hamden Saturday, Feb. 6th at 1:00 PM

RACCIO, CHARLES III

Charles J. Raccio III, 53, of 165 Clintonville Road, North Haven passed away Jan. 28, 2010 in Skyview Nursing Center, Wallingford after a lengthy illness. Born in New Haven, April 27, 1956, he was the son of Josephine A. Capobianco Raccio of North Haven and the late Charles J. Raccio Jr. He graduated from East Haven High School in 1974 and attended Gateway Community College. He lived in Las Vegas for several years, returning to Connecticut in 1998. At one time, he worked for High Standard Mfg. Co and for Marlin Firearms. Besides his mother, he is survived by a son, Charles J. Raccio IV of Sewell, N.J.; a sister and brother in law, Louise and Paul Gavigan of East Haven; a nephew, Sam Gavigan and 3 nieces, Kara, Casey & Sophia Gavigan, all of East Haven; his former wife, Lori Irvin of Sewell, N.J.; his aunts & uncles, Rose & David Battista, Catherine (Vincent) Spadoni and Jeanette & Maurice Martel. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Charles and Louise Raccio and Thomas & Edith Capobianco; and uncles, Vincent Capobianco and Richard A. DI MEOLA, YOLANDA (HELEN)

Yolanda (Helen) DiMeola, 90, passed away January 24, 2010 at her home in Hamden. Born in New Haven May 13, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Ciro and Concetta Rossi DiMeola. She was a New Haven resident for many years before moving to Hamden. She was a graduate of Commercial High School and worked for many years at the former Villanova Restaurant in Morris Cove. She is survived by a sister in law, Helen DiMeola of Tolland; two generations of nieces and nephews including Rita and Michael Landino of North Haven, Herbert, Richard, James and Helen Elizabeth DiMeola, all of Tolland, Richard Landino of Cumberland, R.I. and Michael DiMeola of ElPaso, TX. She is also survived by the many children who, over the years, she befriended and supported with her mischievous sense of humor, her warm heart, and generous spirit. In her later years both Carol Esposito Robinson and Esther Mensah took loving care of her. She was predeceased by three brothers, Nicholas, James and Herbert DiMeola, two sisters, Mary Salzano and Rose Landino, her beloved niece, Concetta DiMeola and her nephew, Anthony DiMeola. PERRI, PAULINE

Pauline Augliera Perri, 89, formerly of New Haven, passed away January 17, 2009 In Valhalla, N.Y. after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of Anthony Perri. Born in New Haven Aug. 16, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Esposito Augliera. She attended the Junior College of Physical Therapy and McKeon Business School. From 1940 to 1949 she was Secretary/Treasurer of Anthony Augliera Trucking Inc. She did volunteer work for several agencies including the Shoreline Association of Retarded & Handicapped (SARAH), the American Cancer Society and the Children’s Soup Kitchen. She is survived by a daughter, Kate Perri (Aron Pasternack) of White Plains, N.Y.; two sons, Ralph A. (Helen) Perri of Long Island City, New York and Paul J. Perri (Michele Miner) of Pasadena, CA.; a sister Lucille (Dominic) DiVerniero of Hamden; 6 grandchildren, Julia and Anthony Fletcher Perri, Daniel and Benjamin Pasternack, Giacomo and Justine Perri; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, James Francis Perri and two brothers, Salvatore and Anthony Augliera.
