King, Robert A.
Robert Arnold King of Dover died on Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at home of leukemia. He was 55 years old.

He was born in Dover, the son of William and Irene King. He was preceded in death by his father, William King, his grandparents, Wilmer and Daisy Patterson, of Dover and Blanch and Bradley King of Camden, De.

He is survived by his mother, Irene King of Dover; a daughter, Bobbie Jo King of Dover; two grandchildren, April and Brandon King of Dover; and two brothers, Gordon King of Dover and Nicholas King of Philadelphia, Pa.

Robert drove a truck for many years, and had also worked for the duPont Company in Seaford, De.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 11th at 2 PM at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 East Lebanon Road, Dover. Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 1 to 2 PM. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden, De.

Klein, May

MAY KLEIN Age 73, of N. Walnut Street, Milford, DE, died Friday, March 16, 2001 in her home with her family by her side. Born May Baxendale, she graduated from Philadelphia High School for Girls in 1945. She worked as a secretary at Dunn & Bradstreet then became a cosmotologist before becoming a homemaker and mother of six children. After moving to Milford, she was a substitute teacher in the Milford School District for 10 years. She was married to Edwin P. Klein for “99” years before he passed on April 8, 2000. Mrs. Klein was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Milford. She served as a member of the American Legion Auxillary for 10 years before becoming President. She supported her husband as he rose through the Masonic organization to become Worshipful Master and was a member of the Eastern Star for 26 years. She was a member of St. Alban’s Eastern Star organization in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. A devoted wife and mother, May Baxendale married her husband Edwin Paul Klein on November 4, 1950 and is survived by six children; three daughters; Jerilyn “Buffy” Ehrlich of Las Vegas, Nevada, Deborah Lynn Ammon of Milford and Sandra Klein Friefeld of Long Beach, California; three sons; Eric C. Klein of Georgetown, Kurt A. Klein of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Carl D. Klein of Milford, eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2001 at Christ Episcopal Church, 2nd and Church Streets, Milford, DE. An Eastern Star service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, DE. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army, 107 S. Market Street, Wilmington, DE, 19801.

Klimasewski, Larry Michael
Larry Michael Klimasewski, 49, of Elkton, formerly of Chesapeake City, MD, died Thursday, March 29, 2001 at his home. Services will be private.

Peter V. Kolonia, Jr.

Age 80 of Newark, DE passed away Saturday, March 31, 2001 surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Kolonia was born in New York City the son of the late Peter and Clara Kolonia of Milford, NJ. Peter was a graduate of Lafayette University and was in sales for most of his life. He was a veteran of WWII and served with the US Air Force. Peter enjoyed fishing, golf, woodworking, writing and most of all watching his grandchildren participating in their many activities. Beloved and caring husband of 49 years to Louise Kolonia who passed away in March 2000. Loving father of Peter Kolonia, III of New York City, Susan DeMoss of Wilmington, Margaret Jamison of Hockessin, Jeff Kolonia of San Diego, CA and Nancy Murphy of Bear, DE; grandfather to Jess, Ryan and Dana Jamison, Christie and Carley DeMoss andTaylor and Chad Murphy; brother to Dorothy Tupper, David Kolonia, Bette Ketcham and Robert Kolonia. Koutsoukos, Christopher N
Salisbury- Christopher N. Koutsoukos, 89, of Salisbury died Friday, November 24,2000 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born January 4,1911 in New York into the Greek Orthodox Faith, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Peggy Contos Koutsoukos. He was a Chief Pharmacist’s Mate with the United States Marine Corp and the United States Navy during WWII. He was a longstanding employee with Eckerd Drug Company. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Peggy and Bill Huskey, four grandchildren Dorothea Polydoros, Nick Polydoros, George Polydoros Jr. and his wife Chrysi, and Christi Stovall and her husband Scott, three great-grandchildren Alaina and Christian Stovall, and Peggy Polydoros all of Houston,TX, four sisters Sophie Cavacos, Mary Giannaris, Theone Bambacus, and Virginia Mulcare, several nieces and nephews and his best friend Helen Long. He was preceded in death by his wife Connie Koutsoukos and a daughter Evie Cohen who died in 1995. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 28,2000 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Eastern Shore near Hurlock. Kowalczyk, Dolores
Dolores Kowalczyk, 69, of Elsmere, died at Christiana Hospital on Friday, February 2, 2001.

Mrs. Kowalczyk worked in food service at Columbia Gas for 25 years before her retirement in 1996. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church. Her husband, Edward, died in 1982.

She is survived by her sons, Edward and David, both of Wilmington; her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Rickey Pierce of Wilmington; two grandsons, Rickey, Jr. and Jeremy Pierce; six brothers, Joseph, Louis, Dominic, Thomas, Valentino, and Robert DiEmedio; and four sisters, Ann Craner, Marie Strohmaier, Janet Mombro, and Joann Tweed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 5 at 10:00 am at Corpus Christi Church, 901 New Road, Elsmere. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday evening between 6 pm and 8 pm at Mealey Funeral Home, Limestone and Milltown Roads, Wilmington. Entombment will be at Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.

Koziski, Helen Doud
CAMDEN -- Helen Doud Koziski, of Camden, died Sun., Dec. 31, 2000, in Christiana Hospital, Wilmington. She was 78. Mrs. Koziski was born January 30, 1922 in Elyria, Ohio, daughter of the late Louise & Frank C. Doud, Sr. She graduated from Caesar Rodney, Class of 1939. She had worked short periods for Henry Ridgely Law Office, Dover & Camden Post Office. She took her formal retirement from Playtex of Dover with 23 yrs. service in 1982. After retirement Mrs. Koziski enjoyed life as a homemaker & was an avid bridge player & a member of the local bridge club. Mrs. Koziski was a charter member of the Camden-Wyoming Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She is predeceased by a sister Frances McQuown in 1986. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Michael D. Koziski, a son Michael J. Koziski & his wife Hannah of Greenville, DE, a daughter Connie Norwood & her husband Tom of Milford, two brothers Frank Doud of Chicago, Illinois & Jack J. Conway, Jr. of Coconut, FL, a sister Dorothea Gray of Wyoming, three grandchildren Kimberly Norwood of Milford, Miles Norwood & Michelle Warren both of Milton, three great grandchildren Tyler Norwood of Milford & Brock Layton & Haley Norwood both of Milton. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Thursday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 until service time. The Rev. Frank O. LAWRENCE B. ”LARRY” KREWSON, AGE 63, OF SEAFORD, DE DIED ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 7, 2000 AT NANTICOKE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. MR. Kujawski, Antone J. "Tony"

Antone J. “Tony” Kujawski, 62, of Clayton, died on Wednesday December 6. He was born in Greenport, New York, the son of the late Antone and Fannie P. Kujawski Sr. Mr. Kujawski was employed as a farmer for most of his life, having farmed in Milford and in Clayton. For the last five years, he was employed by Boscov’s, Dover, as a maintenance mechanic. He had been a member of the Smyrna-Clayton Moose Lodge #2046 since 1981. He enjoyed Polish music, camping, and fishing. He attended St. Polycarp Parish in Smyrna. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jackie Kujawski, at home; a daughter, Jackie King, of Richmond, Va.; 2 brothers, Michael Kujawski, of Fredricksburg, Va.; and John Kujawski, of Clewiston, Fla.; 2 sisters, Theresa Schlacter, of Fredricksburg, Va.; and Genevieve Chappell, of Tyner, NC.; and a granddaughter, Kathryn Grace King, of Richmond. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:00 AM Monday December 11 at St. Polycarp Catholic Church, Ransom Lane and South St., Smyrna. Friends may call Sunday evening from 7-8:00 PM at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover. Kunowsky, Shirley Ann
Salisbury: Shirley Ann Kunowsky, 68, of Salisbury and formerly of Langley Park, MD died on Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at her home. Born in Newport, TN on November 19, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William Burnett and Eula Raines Burnett. Her husband, Albert A. Kunowsky who died in 1981, preceded her in death. Mrs. Kunowsky was employed as an analyst with the Federal Bureau of Investigation retiring in 1989 after 38 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Princess Anne. She was also a member and past vice-president/treasurer of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARF). She is survived by a son and daughter in law; James G. and Linda M. Kunowsky of Salisbury, two sisters; Betsy Worley and Genevieve Valentine, both of Newport, TN, and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Paul Burnett, preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held on Thursday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the Bounds Funeral Home on E. Main St. in Salisbury where family and friends may call from 6:30-7:00 P.M. Pastor William R. Horner will officiate. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Shirley to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center Radiation Oncology Unit, attention: PRMC Foundation, 100 E. ALBERT L. LADD

Age 83 of Ladd’s Lane, Lincoln, DE, died Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at his home.

Mr. Ladd was employed with Tingley-Reliance Rubber Corp. from 1936 to 1939 and then worked as a Control Rigger for Eastern Aircraft Division at their plant in Linden, NJ where he was promoted to Airplane Inspector before leaving in 1943. Mr. Ladd worked various other jobs retiring in 1995 after 8 years as an Electrician with Wm C. Taylor & Sons Electrical Contractor in Milford, DE. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. serving from 1943 to 1945.

Mr. Ladd was a life member of the Blue Hen VFW Post #6483, Milford and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #2316, Milford.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Ladd, in 1976.

Mr. Ladd is survived by a son, Harold E. Ladd of Lincoln, DE, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Friends may call Sunday evening, January 21, 2001 from 7-9 p.m. at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, DE. Interment will be private.

Lamborn, Nathan Jay
Nathan J. Lamborn Age 54, died Febuary 4, 2001 after fighting a 2 year battle with colon rectal cancer. Born in West Grove, PA, Mr. Lamborn owned and operated Ace Fuel Oil, Wilm., with his wife, Louise, for 27 years. He is survived by: his wife of 34 years, Louise Lamborn, sons: Josiah Wilson Lamborn and Nathan John Lamborn, both of Wilm. Grandchildren: Alice Louise Lamborn of Hockesin and Nathan John Lamborn of Bear. Parents, the late J. Wilson Lamborn and Edna J. Lamborn of West Grove, PA, Sisters and brothers-in-law John and Martha J. Mister, of Wenona Md, and William and Mary Anne Tewelow of Atlanta, GA. Brother and sister-in law Jay and Janet Lamborn of Port Charlotte, FL. Also survived by inlaws: Francis and Elsie Smith of West Chester, PA, John & Carolyn Smith Stump of Atglen, PA, Francis A. Smith, Jr. and Raymond Smith both of West Palm Beach, FL, Debra L. Smith McCarreher of Atglen, PA and Robert W. Smith of West Chester, PA. Nathan was happiest when he had his grandchildren, Allie and Nathan and his 2 Basssette hounds, Mess-Lissa and Scarlett around him. Lane, Rose R.
Rose R. Lane, 82, Fairways Lane Apt's, DOVER, passed away Thursday January 04, 2001 at HER HOME in Dover.

She was born on October 01, 1918 in Baltimore, MD to Louis and Christine Reno.

Mrs. Lane and her late husband were produce dealers in smyrna for many years. After his death in 1980 she enjoyed helping her son run the family produce stand at Little Creek. She is preeced in death by her husband Norwood and a son Louis.

She is survived by SON and his wife, Gerald and Jeraldine Lane of Little Creek, DE. BROTHER, Louis Reno of Millisboro, DE., Sister Jennie Dileonardo of Wilmington, DE. , 4 Grandchildren , 11 Great grandchildren, 1 Great Great grand child.

Remembrance Services will be held Monday 01/08/2001 01:00 PM at TRADER FUNERAL HOME in DOVER, DE 19901 with Rev. C. Evans officiating. Burial will be at the SHARON HILL MEMORIAL PARK Dover, DE.

Langford, George B.
Age: 64 Address: Harrington Died at: Christiana Hospital

Background: Mr. Langford was an Operation Sergeant Major for the Delaware National Guard of which he was a member for 42 years and nine months. Mr. Langford was a lifetime member of the Farmington Fire Company #47 and a lifetime member of the Delaware State Fire Police and the Kent County Fire Police. He was also a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge #534. After his retirement, Mr. Langford’s main interest were golf, the Farmington Fire Company’s Fire Police, and watching local sporting events. Mr. Langford will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents Emerson G. Langford and Dorothy Wix Raughley, and a daughter Karla Langford.

Kathleen Virginia (Katie) Lanigan, 17, of Port Deposit, MD, died Sunday, January 28, 2001. She was born in Baltimore, MD on November 8, 1983, the daughter of John B. Lanigan and Judith A. Lanigan, of Port Deposit, MD. Katie was an 11th grade student of Perryville High School and was a member of the debate team. She also was a member of Perryville High School Field Hockey Team, Coral Choir, Fellowship Christian Athletes, Girl Scout Troop 911, and the Venture Club. She was a member of West Nottingham Presbyterian Church and the Youth Group. She was a life guard at Cecil County YMCA. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, John B. Lanigan III; 4 sisters, Jennifer P. Lanigan, Cara K. Lanigan, Nicole C. Lanigan, and Joan E. Lanigan, all at home; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Lanigan of North Easton, Mass.; maternal grandparents, Wallace and Joan Speers of Quincy, PA. Funeral service will be held on Thursday February 1, at 1 PM at West Nottingham Presbyterian Church, 1195 Firetower Rd., Colora, MD. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 7 - 9 p.m. at R. T.
