Bernice M. Mohn, 73, of Lewes, died at her home Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, after a long illness.
Born in Gouglersville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Curtis Mohn and Ethel M. Huyett Kocher. She as a graduate of Mohnton High School, West Chester University and Temple University.
Ms. Mohn is survived by two sisters, Arlette Sweigart and Carole Swavely and her husband, John; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Contributions are suggested to Tunnell Cancer Center at Beebe Health Campus, Rt. 24, Lewes DE 19958. Arrangements by Melson Funeral Services, Millsboro.
Daniel A. Richter,
retired sales manger
Daniel Andrew Richter, 53, passed away at his home in Milton Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005.
Mr. Richter was a retired computer software sales manager, a member of VFW Post 6168 in Shippensburg, Pa. and the Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge.
He is survived by his parents, Herbert L. and Anne C. Richter of Harrisburg, Pa.; his wife, Linda Shope Davis-Richter; two daughters, Nikki Reimer of Tacoma, Wash., and Ashley Chestnut of Dillsburg, Pa.; a stepdaughter, Holly Davis of Frederick, Md.; a stepson, Jesse Davis of Shafferstown, Pa.; a brother, Ken Richter of Harrisburg; three sisters, Anne Floyd of New Cumberland, Pa., Margie Gephart of Palmyra, Pa. and Cindy Hall of Harrisburg; three grandchildren; seven nephews; and six nieces.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Herb Michael Richter.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29, at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Harrisburg, where friends may call at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be private.

Bruce A. Brittingham,

Bruce A. Brittingham, 57, of Millsboro, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at home.
Born in Lewes, he was the son of the late J. Ralph Brittingham and Maxine E. Hitchens Brittingham. Bruce was the owner of Brittingham and Williams Insurance Agency where he had been involved in the business for more than 30 years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather as well as an avid NASCAR fan, especially of Dale Earnhardt Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Debbie C. Brittingham; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer Outten and her husband, Bryan, of Millsboro; and Janelle Hickman and her husband, Keith, of Laurel; three grandchildren, Schyler Outten, Kailee Hickman and Kaden Hickman; and a sister, Elaine Rummell of Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hayley Hickman.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 28, at Millsboro cemetery , State Street, Millsboro, with the Rev. Robert A. Hudson officiating. There will be no viewing.

Sally J. Moser,
government servant
Sally J. Moser, 83, died peacefully at her home in Lewes, Monday, Jan. 24, 2005.
Mrs. Moser was born in Amherst, Mass., the daughter of the late Anthony and Anelia Zawaski. Upon graduation from Becker College in Worcester, Mass. in 1941, she answered our government’s call for women to come to Washington, D.C. to support the build-up of the War Department Headquarters in the execution of WWII. She was initially assigned as a secretary at the Army and Navy Munitions Board where she remained through the duration of the war.
She continued in government service after WWII, moving to the Pentagon where she became confidential assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics Paul R. Ignatius. When Mr. Ignatius was chosen to head the Navy, Mrs. Moser was appointed secretary to the Secretary of the Navy where she remained until her retirement from government service. She accompanied Mr. Ignatius to the Air Transport Association in Washington, where she was elected that organization’s international secretary.
In 1993, Mrs. Moser moved to Lewes and immediately became active in St. Jude’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Moser was a long-time member and past president of the Topside Aviation Club in Washington, D.C. She was also a member of the First Town Club in Lewes, the Sussex County Republican Women’s Club, the Eastern Sussex Republican Club and she served as secretary and then president of the Plantations Condominium Owners Association. As an active Republican in Delaware, Mrs. Moser was chosen to serve as treasurer for the campaign of a candidate for the state House of Representatives during the 2004 election season.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moser was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, in 1937 and Joseph in 2003. She is survived by her brother, Chester Zawaski, and his wife Helen of Stoughton, Mass; two nieces, Cathy Zawaski of Boca Raton, Fla. and Linda Workman and her husband Neal P. of Boston, Mass; two grand-nieces, Taylor Workman, a student at Boston College, and Whitney Workman, a student at Rollins College; and a host of loving friends and acquaintances in the Washington, D.C. and Lewes areas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 31, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Highway 1, Five Points, Lewes, where family and friends may gather for visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Episcopal cemetery
on Pilottown Road, Lewes.
Lindsey R. King,
restaurant hostess
Lindsey Rene King, 20, and her unborn child, Alexia Rose of Lewes, died suddenly Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at their residence.
Ms. King was a hostess at Jake’s Seafood in Rehoboth and had been enrolled in phlebotomy classes at Sussex Tech.
She was the sunshine of all who knew her.
Lindsey and her daughter are survived by Lindsey’s boyfriend, Paul Gormezano; her mother, Lisa K. White and fiance Anthony Martin of Lewes; her father Paul E. King and finance, Barbara Keys of Milton; her sister, Carly King of Lewes; her maternal grandmother, E. C. Morosoff of Lewes; her paternal grandmother, Rosemary King of Annandale, Va., three uncles, Bill White of Annapolis, Md., Chris King and his wife Lucy of Burke, Va., and Greg King of San Francisco, Ca.; two cousins, Kaitlin White and K.C. White, both of California.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 29, 2 p.m., at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Second and Market streets, Lewes.
Peter Nyhart Bohn,

Peter Nyhart Bohn, 85, of Lewes and formerly of Wynnewood, Pa. and Cape May, N.J., died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at Keystone House in Wyndmoor, Pa.
Mr. Bohn served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a partner in the management consulting firm of Worden & Risberg in Philadelphia and executive vice president of Rogers, Bohn & Associates, Industrial Managers. He was a past president of the Cape May Cottagers Association and for many years a member of the Cape May Beach Club and the Corinthian Yacht Club of Cape May. He was a charter member and former president of the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts. He was an active member of the Bay Breeze Estates Homeowners’ Association. Mr. Bohn was also active in community affairs in both Cape May and Lewes.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcia Bohn in 1982.
Mr. Bohn is survived by his wife, Barbara Bohn of Salem, N.J.; his children, Peter N, Bohn II and his wife Robin of Laurel, Deirdre Cleff and her husband Arnold of Warminster, Pa., Clare Bohn and her husband James White of Philadelphia, Pa., and Sara Bohn Phillips of Rehoboth Beach; and eight grandfather.
Funeral services were private. Burial will be Saints Peter and Paul cemetery , Springfield, Pa.

Bryan Lewis Schilling

Bryan Lewis Schilling, 35, of New Castle, died at Christiana Hospital on Friday, Jan. 21, 2005 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Mr. Schilling was a 1987 graduate of McKean High School in Wilmington. He worked for The Company Store in Milton, The DuPont Company in Wilmington, and NVF in Yorklyn. Since 2003 he has managed his own business, BZ Feet Lawns Inc. in New Castle.
Bryan enjoyed his pets, Sebastian and Snowball, coaching his son and the neighborhood kids in sports and talking football with anyone. He was an avid Eagles fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Lewis Schilling, and his grandparents Marvin Schilling, Francis Schlor, and Veronica E. Schlor.
His wife and companion of 17 years, Deborah A. Wilson-Schilling and their son, Christopher Lewis Schilling, survive him.
He is also survived by his mother, Frances Schilling, his sister Kellie Bailey and her husband, Kenny and his niece and nephew Ashley and J.C. of Greenwood, his stepmother Linda Schilling, and stepsister Alicia Hamons and a nephew Anthony of Millsboro. In addition, his survivors include his grandmother, Florence B. Schilling of Hawthorne, Fla.; his uncle, Charles Schlor of Coatesville, Pa.; his mother-in-law, Beverly Wilson; brother-in-law Michael Wilson and his wife Debbie of Georgetown; his sister-in-law Donna Quillen and her companion Dr. Douglas Allen of Lewes; his nephews, Mike and Mark Wilson and Kevin Quillen and two great-grand nieces Kirsten and Haley Wilson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 28, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, 307 N. Bedford Street, Georgetown, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in St. John’s cemetery , near Georgetown.

Charles Dale Wilson,
retired master sergeant
Charles Dale Wilson, 74, of rural Millsboro, died on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2005 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Elsmere.
He was a retired master sergeant after 21 years in the U.S. Air Force as a meteorologist in Alaska and Greenland. After retiring from the military, he continued his career in meteorology for 11 years. After moving to the Long Neck area he served as manager for Beach Mobil Home and Supplies and was a member and deacon at East Gate Presbyterian Church in Long Neck. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Pamela Hyde Wilson; three sons, Larry Joe Wilson of Clarksville, Md., Kenneth Dale Wilson of Farmington, N.M., and Christian David Wilson of Millsboro; a stepson, Daniel Kraus Jr., of Millsboro; stepdaughter, SuAnn Shtab of Pt. Pleasant, NJ; two brothers, Robert Wilson of Gautier, Miss. and Albert Wilson of Maynard, Ark.; a sister, Irene Jones of Laverne, Okla.; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services with military honors will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 31, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial cemetery
South’s Chapel, Millsboro, after which a 2 p.m. memorial service will follow at East Gate Presbyterian Church PCA in Long Neck.

Irene Elizabeth Milford,

Irene Elizabeth Milford, 80, of Angola, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at home.
Mrs. Milford was born April 19, 1924 in Milton. She worked at the Rollins Electronics Plant in Lewes and NCR in Millsboro until her retirement. Mrs. Milford drove for the CHEER Center of Rehoboth Beach. She was an avid bingo player throughout the Delmarva area.
She was the daughter of the late Albert Argo and the late Delema “Reed” Argo.
Mrs. Milford was preceded in death by her husband Arlington C. Milford; her companion Harry T. Trahan, and a daughter Joyce Elizabeth O’Hara.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons, Patricia Ann Downes of Lewes, Delema Fay Marsh of Rehoboth Beach, A.C. Milford of Frankford, Frances Jones of Pittsville, Md. and Thomas Ray Milford of Westover, Md.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29, at the Angola Beach Estates Clubhouse, Angola. The family requests that those attending may contribute a covered dish if they so desire. Burial will be private.

Margaretta N. ‘Peggy’ Hall,

Margaretta Naomi “Peggy” Hall, 78, passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at Milford Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born March 24, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William J. Greegs and Nora Mabel Greegs of Wilmington.
“Peggy” was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She cherished her time with her family and all of the “treasures” she received and saved over the years from her loved ones.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband of more than 60 years, Ernest H. Hall Sr., with whom she raised six children in Claymont before retiring to Milton in 1981. Also surviving her are her children, William M. Hall and his wife, Nancy, of Millville, Linda L.. Zimmerman and her husband, Ed, of Denton, Md., Ernest H. Hall Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Wilmington, James E. Hall and his wife Maria of Greenwood, Kathleen K. Hansen of Wilmington, and Steven A. Hall and his wife, Diane, of Monroe, N.C.; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Lillian M. Wright and Helen M. Gibison; a brother, William J. Greegs; and her grandson in 1993.
A memorial service was held in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, Milton. Burial will be at a later date.

Oscar Miquel Eguia,

Oscar Miguel Eguia, 41, of Rehoboth Beach, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004 in Little Rock, Ark.
He was born in Bolivia, the son of Dr. Oscar Miguel Eguia and the late Betty Grady Eguia. He owned and operated His and Her Landscaping in Rehoboth Beach for the past eight years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Georgetown, was an avid antique collector and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Constance R. Eguia; three stepdaughters, Tonia Scott of California, Elizabeth Tisher and her husband, Herbert, of Little Rock and Casey Scott and her companion, Clifford Hovington, of Milton; a brother, Dr. Joseph Eguia of Colorado; two sisters, Maria and Nancy Eguia, both of Colorado; also three grandchildren, Jack and Ryan Tisher and Zoe Scott.
Funeral services were at Delaware Veterans Memorial cemetery , Millsboro.
