She was retired from Osborn Midwest Paper Co. and a nursing assistant at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, both in Marion, and member of First Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Donald W. Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes, Garden of Memories Chapel, Tampa.
