Pauline K. Regnal, 92, Nutrition helper

Pauline K. Regnal, 92, of Bushnell, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, in Bushnell. A native of Philadelphia, Pa., she lived here since 1985. Mrs. Regnal worked in the cafeteria in the public school system. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Florence R. Fowler and her husband John of Bushnell; four grandchildren, Joan Johnson, John Fowler Jr., Judy Spiegel and Joseph Fowler; 11 great-grandchildren and seven great, great-grandchildren. Services were held Dec. 15 at the Purcell Funeral Home Chapel, Bushnell, with Deacon Bruno Wiewcek of St. Lawrence Catholic Church officiating. Interment was at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Purcell Funeral Home, Bushnell, handled the arrangements.

Debra Hile, 58 Hernando

Debra Hile, 58, Hernando, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at her home.

A native of Mobile, Ala. she was born Dec. 17, 1944, to Rufus Powell and Annie Maybelle (Peacock) Coor.

She was a lifelong resident of Mobile, Ala., until moving to Hernando in February 2000.

For many years, she served along side her husband, Pastor Allen C. Hile Jr., at the Coden Bible Church of God in Alabama.

She was a member of the Grace Bible Fellowship of Inverness.

She enjoyed caring for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Allen C. Hile Jr. of Hernando; son, Allen C. Hile III of Lake Charles, La.; two daughters, Deana Lashley of Cedar Key and Karri Glass of Fairhope, Ala.; brother, Rufus "Buddy" Coor of Mobile, Ala.; three sisters, Irma Long of Selma, Ala., Kathy Murphy of Theodore, Ala., and Wanda Shoultz of Spanish Fort, Ala.; and 11 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Grace Bible Fellowship Fund, 2780 N. Florida Ave., Hernando, FL 34442 or to Hospice of Citrus County.

Dorothy Shipman, 80 Homosassa

Dorothy W. Shipman, 80, Homosassa, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, in Homosassa.

She was born Nov. 26, 1923, in Quincy to Thomas and Donnie Wynn Weatherly. She moved to the area in 1987 from Valrico.

She was an accountant for the state of Florida.

She was Methodist.

Her husband, Charles Lanier Shipman, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a grand nephew, Bill Sale of Tallahassee and a brother-in-law, James A. Shipman of Tallahassee.

Lionel Sidlin, 79 Citrus Hills

Lionel Sidlin, 79, Citrus Hills, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, in Inverness.

He was born Jan. 21, 1924, in London, England to Abraham and Rosa Sidlin.

He moved to the area in 1991 from Bartlett, Ill.

He was the vice president and personnel director for Eaton Corp. for more than 25 years.

He served in the Royal Air Force during World War II.

He was a member of the Citrus Hills Country Club Men's League. He was an avid golfer. He was Jewish.

Survivors include two sons, David B. Sidlin and his wife, Mary Ann, of Park Ridge, Ill., and Jeffrey A. Sidlin and his wife, Eiko, of Elgin, Ill.; two brothers, Lou Sidlin of Beckenham Kent, England, and Ben Sidlin of Palm Beach; and three grandchildren.

Celina Brescia, 24 Homosassa

Celina Brescia, 24, Homosassa, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, in Inverness.

Born Feb. 24, 1979, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to John N. Brescia and Susan Ceparano, she moved here 10 years ago.

She graduated from Lecanto High School in 1998 as an Honor Student.

She was Catholic.

Survivors include her father, John N. Brescia of Spring Hill; mother and stepfather, Susan Ceparano (Joseph) of Homosassa; brother, Joey Brescia of Spring Hill; maternal grandparents, Mariano and Alicia Manrique of Homosassa; paternal grandfather, John Brescia of Howard Beach, N.Y.; aunts, Carolyn Ramirez and Mary Brescia both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; uncle, Angel Ramirez of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and cousins, Marlina and Taryn.

Catherine Elizabeth "Betty" Colle, 89, of Keating Park, Floral City, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, in Homosassa.

Born April 8, 1914, in Franklin Square, L.I., N.Y., to John and Mary (Germs) Schuck, she moved here in 1975 from Syracuse, N.Y.

Mrs. Colle was a homemaker and she was Catholic.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Colle, March 6, 1985.

Survivors include her son, Richard A. Colle of Utica, N.Y.; two sisters, Florence Pechiro of Ocala and Ann Lekay of California; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Nancy Gallina, 91 Inverness

Nancy Gallina, 91, Inverness, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness.

She was born Dec. 5, 1912, in Manhattan, N.Y., to Joseph and Ann Mazzarisi.

Mrs. Gallina was a retired salesperson for the Corvette Department Store in Bronx, N.Y.

She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Gallina, and brother, James Mazzarisi.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean Trezza (Vincent) of Inverness and Carol Gallina of Floral City; three sisters, Rose Tringali and Lillian Vitale both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Josephine Marcero of Staten Island, N.Y.; two brothers, Phillip Mazzarisi of Manhattan, N.Y., and Paul Mazzarisi of New Jersey; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth K. Granville, 92, Beverly Hills, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 in Lecanto.

She was born Jan. 4, 1911, in Mount Morris, Pa., to John and Pearl Kennedy.

Mrs. Granville was a retired lab technician at the University of West Virginia.

She was Methodist.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lester Ice; second husband, Donald Granville; half sister, Mildred King; brother, Albert Kennedy; and half brother, Harry Snyder.

Survivors include her stepdaughter, Donna Foxworth (William) of Beverly Hills; three step grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and niece, Elizabeth Sandy (Arthur) of Williamstown, W.Va.
