CARPENTER, Opal L., 91 years old, formerly of Zephyrhills, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2001, at the Mariner Healthcare Center in Clearwater. Survivors include two sons, Roy E. and Waltraude of Largo, Fla., and Larry and Linda of Gallatin, Tenn.; one sister, Thelma Peebles of Bradenton, Fla.; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one niece, Carol of Louisville, and one nephe w John of Indianapolis. A native of Brown County, Indiana she was a retired school teacher and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Zephryhills. Funeral services will be held on Friday (TODAY) at Graveside in Oakside Cemetery with Rev. Craig Ford officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. (TODAY).

CZADO, Marguerite V., 87, of Zephyrhills, died Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at Sunbelt Nursing Center. Survivors include a niece, Judy Hopkins of Zephyrhills; a nephew, Neil Little of Ft. Myers, Fla and a sister-in-law, Rita Little of Holt, Fla. Born in Bedford, Pa., she had lived here for four years coming from Holiday, Fla. where she resided for 20 years coming from Iselin, N.J. She was a home maker and Catholic. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Rd., New Port Richey, where Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. by Rev. Edgar Pelletier. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens.

MADILL, Edwin L. `Ed` 86, of Dade City, Fla. died Wednesday, October 24, 2001 in Dade City. He leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Florrie Mae Ansley Madill, who was his high school sweetheart, Dade City, Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nina Sue and Gerald Nash, Conyers, Ga., and Carol Lee and Richard Lockey, Tampa, Fla.; one brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Carolyn Madill, Dade City, Fla.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie Mae and Les Dail, Magnolia, N.C., Mary Lee Parsons, Zephyrhills, Fla., and Ninetta and Hall Powell, Roswell, Ga.; two sisters- in-law, Inez Madill, Homosassa, Fla., and Mickie Madill, England; three grandchildren, Suzy Casillo, Steve and Jennifer Nash, and Richard and Jody Nash; four great-grand- children, Chelsea, Kailee and Rebeka Casillo, and Hoga n Lee Nash; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren B. and Nina Mae Madill; and two brothers, Dr. James Madill and Capt. Lawrence Madill. Mr. Madill was born December 26, 1914 in Covert, Mich. and moved to Dade City in 1918. He was an active businessman in the surrounding community having established Madill Furniture Store, Madill Clothing Store, and t he Pasco Motor's Automobile Dealership. He owned citrus and ranch property. During World War II, he was a pilot for American Air Lines. After the war, he and Henry Douglas started West Coast Flight and Training School in Zephyrhills, Fla. He was active in real estate and developed Hyland Farms in Blanton, Fla. He and Otto Weitzenkorn developed the Regency Apartments, and he and Jimmy Bingham devel oped Fisherman's Cove in Dade City. He was a founding director of the Community National Bank of Pasco County. Civic duties included Mayor and City Commissioner of Dade City from 1948-1952, Chairman of the Florida Game & Fresh Water Fish Commission from 1960-1964, past president of the Dade City Kiwanis Club. He served as a Steward and was a member of the Finance Committee of the First United Meth odist Church in Dade City. He loved hunting, fishing, rose gardening and enjoyed helping many people in the community. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2001 at the First United Methodist Church in Dade City. Burial will follow at Dade City Cemetery. Friends may call Friday (today) from 4-8:00 p.m. at the Coleman & Ferguson Funeral Home in Dade City. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the First United Methodist Church, c/o 37628 Church Ave., Dade City, FL 33525 or the Hospice of Pasco, Inc. c/o 13933 17th Street, Dade City, FL 33525.

MONTY-WILEY, Denise L., 57, of Zephyrhills and Ashford, Conn., loving wife of Frank Wiley, died Thursday, October 25, 2001 in Ashford after a long battle with cancer. She was born May 13, 1944 in New Bedford, Mass. the daughter of Joseph and Lucille (Bissette) Monty of Lady Lake. She had lived in Hampton, Conn. before moving to Florida where she lived and worked until the onset of her illness l ast year and she returned to Ashford. She was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam era and was a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University. Denise received her Master's degree in Psychology from Florida State University and was employed as a psychiatric therapist for the Florida Penal System for many years. In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by four children, Catherin e Rupert and her husband James of Ashford, Richard Fecteau and his wife Sylvia of Pisa, Italy, Marc Fecteau and his fiancee Debbie Lyles of Naples, and Cynthia Chesters of Guilford, Conn.; a sister, Carolyn Jaeckel and her husband bill of St. Augustine; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Abiding Word Church, 55 South Bedlam Rd., Chaplin. Burial will be private in Maplewood Cemetery, Upton, Mass. There are no calling hours. SKRAPKA, Donna C., 68 of Zephyrhills passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2001, with her family at her side. On December 14, 1963 she was married to Wiley Edward Davis, who precedes her in death. Donna married her present husband, Robert in 1987. Besides Robert, Donna is survived by a son, Ed Davis and wife Linda of Lutz; two daughters, Patricia Flood and husband Anthony of San Antonio, and Victo ria French and husband Bill of Tampa; seven grandchildren; sister, Ann Bjorklund and husband Ron of Brooksville; and a brother, Schuyler and wife Madeline Fredriksson of Worcester, Mass. Donna will be laid to rest on Monday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. in a private service with full military honors. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Trinity United Methodi st Church in Zephyrhills with Reverands A.C. Bryant, Frank Cahill, Milton Tenhave and Sid Davis as officiants. A native of Holden, Mass., she came to the Tampa/ Zephyrhills area in the late 1950's. Donna was a graduate of Holden H.S. in 1951 and had attended Clark University Worcester until enlisting in the W.A.C.S. in 1952. Donna was honorably discharged in 1955 achieving the rank of a Sergeant. She went on to attend Ward School of Airline Training in Worcester, Eastern Airlines School of Flight Attendants. Donna was also an alumnus of Jacksonville University and University of Tampa. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Donations to Hernando/Pasco Hospice in Donna's memory will be accepted as well as flowers.

GARCIA, Rina, 79, of Dade City, died Thursday, October 25, 2001 at home. Survivors include her husband, Euripides `Chuchu`; two sons, Vincente and Carlos M. Garcia, both of Dade City; three daughters, Rina M. Vega of Miami, and Virginia Gonzalez and Maria Vidal, both of Broward; a sister, Isabel Cejas of Broward; and fourteen grandchildren. A native of Cuba, she moved to Dade City in 1961 from Miami. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2001 (Today) with Father George Rozycki officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in St. Joseph.

Michael passed away following a lifelong illness of Prader Willi Syndrome. He fought a good fight for forty two years, but now God wanted him home with Him. He is survived by his parents, E. H. and Thelma, of Tampa; his brother, Steve and his wife, Marion; and nieces, Elizabeth and Leslie of St. Cloud, Fla. Michael worked at McDonald's Training Center on Cypress Street in Tampa. He had worked t here since graduation from Leto High School in 1978. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2001 at the Garden of Memories Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

ATCHISON, Margaret `Peggy`, 77, loving wife and mother, passed away October 16, 2001 of natural causes in Tampa, Fla. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Louis Atchison; her brother, Lee Barfield and wife Jeff of Lakeland; sons, Louis Atchison, Jr. of Tampa; Douglas Atchison and wife Carol of Lutz; daughter, Noah Elyse Rose (Betsy) of Asheville, N.C.; grandchildren Chapin and Allyson. S he was predeceased by her parents J.R. and Blanche Barfield of Lakeland; sister Virginia Smith of Lake City. She was born on March 7, 1924, in Vienna, Ga. She graduated from Florida State College for Women in 1944 and earned a Masters Degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, New York, New York. She studied voice at Juilliard School of Music and modern dance with Martha Graham. Her 35 yea rs a a dedicated Physical Education teacher included posts at Judson College, Ala.; Texas State College for Women in Denton; Pensacola Jr. College in Fla.; and several Junior and Senior High Schools in Tampa. She was an active member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church. She was one of the `Fearless Five`, five Physical Education majors, FSCW Class of 1944 who continued their close friendship o ver the next 57 years and established the Fearless Five Scholarship Fund which annually awards two scholarships at Florida State University. A memorial service will be held at Forest Hills United Methodist Church, 904 W. Linebaugh Ave. on November 4, Sunday, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions (payable to FSU Foundation) to The Fearless Five - Class of 1944 Endowed Scholarship Fund, 225 University Center, Building C, Suite 3100, Tallahassee, FL 32306.

BEAR, Flora, age 89 of Tampa , passed away October 25, 2001 . She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eden. She is survived by four daughters, Helen O'Conner and husband, Michael, JoAnn Weinberg and husband, Seymour, Doris Lutkus and husband, John, and Janet Hertel; eleven grandchildren, Tina, Keith, Timothy, Kathleen, Mark, Michael, Shawn, Sara, David, Ann, and Daniel; and three great -grandchildren. She was a member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and Ladies Guild. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 10.00 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with the Rev. BROWN, Boyd Edward, 92 of Tampa passed away on October 25, 2001 at Kindred Hospital South. Survivors include two daughters; Frances Andrade of Tampa and Ruby Haney of Hudson as well as 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 70 years Rosaline in January of this year. Mr. Brown retired as an upholsterer from the University of Florida. He was a former vice p residentof the Harley Davidson Club of Tampa during the 1930s. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mark III Funeral Home South Tampa Chapel. Interment will follow at Orange Hill Cemetery in Williston, Fla. BROWN, Georgia Hill, 93, of Tampa passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2001 in Zephyrhills, Fla. She is survived by two sons, Ken Brown, Jr. and wife Jeanne of San Antonio, Fla., and George (Herby) Brown and wife, Clarice of Fruitland Park, Fla.;and daughter, Barbara Bellamy-Logie and husband, Jack of Mulberry, Fla.; six grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild. Sh e was a native of Acworth, Ga., Protestant faith, a retired real estate sales associate, active in Tampa for over 20 years. She was a member of the U.D.C. and D.A.R. and avid Bridge player. Funeral services will be held Monday morning, October 29 at 11:00 a.m. at the Glass Funeral Home Chapel in Tampa. Dr. Kevin Ahrens of West Broad Street Baptist Church will officiate. The family will receive fri ends at the funeral home Monday morning one hour prior to service time.
