BEAR, Flora, age 89 of Tampa , passed away October 25, 2001 . She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eden. She is survived by four daughters, Helen O'Conner and husband, Michael, JoAnn Weinberg and husband, Seymour, Doris Lutkus and husband, John, and Janet Hertel; eleven grandchildren, Tina, Keith, Timothy, Kathleen, Mark, Michael, Shawn, Sara, David, Ann, and Daniel; and three great -grandchildren. She was a member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and Ladies Guild. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 10.00 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Alfonso Pagliara OFM, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

She is survived by one son; William Lloyd Floyd and wife, Mary Helen of Tampa, one daughter; Levitia Young of Tampa, one brother; Dewey Clark, of Helena, Ga., two sisters; Louise Ingram of Oviedo, Fla., and Lucille Howard of Helena, Ga., five grandchildren; Randy Mumm and, wife,Cheryl, James Mumm, Robert Floyd and wife, Ga il, Kathy Cianci, and husband, Tino and Sharon Des Champs; -and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Floyd was a native of Georgia, and retired from Standard Cigar Factory. Funeral Services will he held Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at lO a.m. at the Glass Funeral Home Chapel. Charles E. Seal Pastor of Waters Avenue Baptist Church will officiate. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. Interment will he in Oak Grove Cemetery.

FOSDICK, Cecil H., 92, of Tampa passed away Oct. 27, 2001. He survived by his wife, Naomi K. Fosdick; daughter, Cynthia Howard; granddaughter, Deborah Howard; grandson, Frank Howard & wife Shelli; great-grandson, Brennan Howard, all of Tampa; cousin, Leslie Bills of Port Charlotte; step children, Stephen Crum and Edward E. Crum and their families. Mr. Fosdick was a longtime member of Hyde Park Presbyterian Church. He was a volunteer driver for Meals On Wheels for 25 years. A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hyde Park Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 3-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Meals On Wheels.

Survivors include her uncles, Sam Vitale and Ralph Parrino; aunt, Mary Santander; several cousins and god children and caregiver, Lissette Moradel and husband Jose. Ms. Parrino was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and worked for the Hillsborough county school district concluding her career as a teacher at St. Joseph's Catho lic School after over ten years of service until her illness. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the South Tampa Chapel of Mark III Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Cherry St. Interment will be at a later date at Centro Espanol Cemetery. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, the Altar Rosary Society ,and the Catholic Daughters of America. POOLE, George E. Jr., 62, Col. US Army (Ret.) died October 27, 2001. He is survived by his loving wife Rosemarie and his children, Graig and wife Andrea, Philip and wife Barbara, Nicole and husband Anthony, Michael and wife Amanda and grandsons, Philip and Joey. He is also survived by his mother, Mary E. Poole and two sisters, Mary and Jeanette. Colonel Poole was a Citadel graduate and received his MBA from the University of Tennessee. He served two tours in Vietnam, his most memorial tour as Company Commander Bravo Company, 3rd for the 60th, 9th Infantry Division. He was awarded the Purple Heart, the Silver Star for valor, the Bronze Star for meritorious service and valor and the Combat Infantryman's badge. After 26 years of service as an Infantry Officer in the US Army, he retired at the rank of full colonel. Throughout, he stayed very active in his military associations and attended all unions to be with the men he served along with. After retiring from the military he worked as Director of Operations for the Southwest Water Management District in Brooksville. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

WAHL, Richard `Dick`, 64, of Tampa, passed away October 9, 2001. Survived by his loving devoted wife Carolyn; daughters Alyson and Heather WahI residing in New York; brother Raymond of Canadensis,Pa.; children Suzie and Charles Scheuter of Largo, Fla., Joseph and Michael Roecke of Tampa, Fla. and four grandchildren. He was a retired, disabled police officer, with a career that spanned 28 years with N.Y.P.D., New York State Police and the Hollywood, Fla., Police Departments. He served as detective, inspector, air marshal and court officer. He was a graduate of University of South Florida and St. Francis College, Brooklyn, N.Y. He was active as an AARP instructor,and a member of the Knights of Columbus Order 10950, Moose Chapter #1614, Elks Lodge #2520, and the Fraternal Order of Police. Dick will be missed in a big way. Bland and mother, Edna P. Bland. He was a resident of Tallahassee, Fla. for 28 years, grew up in Tampa, graduated from King High School and attended Florida College in Temple Terrace. He was born in Durham, North Carolina, a true and loyal supporter of the University of North Carolina and a Tarheel through and through. Cecil is remembered with love and happiness that he brought to so very many people. Funeral service will he held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to service.
