KURRY, Kenneth J. 87 of Sun City Center, Fla., died November 30, 2001 at his residence. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, and moved to Sun City Center in 1975 from Babbitt, Minn. Mr. Kurry was a former member of the Cypress Green Golf Course, and a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, and Kings Point Golf Course in Sun City Center, and a member of the American Legion Post 535 and V.F.W.1539 of Babbitt, Minn. He is survived by his wife, Mary Kurry of Sun City Center; son, Kenneth E. Kurry of Anoka, Minn.; daughters, Karen Christiansen of Viginia, Minn, and Anne Miller of Cottage Grove, Minn.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday (December 3, 2001) at St.Andrews Presbyterian Church of Sun City Center, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Robert Schme iser officiating. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donation be made to either Life Path Hospice or the Sun City Center Emergency Squad. Arrangements by Sun City Center Funeral Home. (813) 634-9900

LOPEZ, Nereida `Nelly`, age 77 of Tampa, passed away November 29, 2001. A native of Florida, Puerto Rico and resident of Tampa since 1986, Mrs. Lopez was a Certified Nursing Assistant and of the Christian faith. Survivors include her son, Juan Ramon Gonzalez; daughter, Maria Cristina Burgos; brothers, Enioberto Lopez and Abraham Lopez; sisters, Ari Selena Sanchez and Zita Velasquez; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

PEAK, Katherine J., 98, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday, November 29, 2001. She was born in Knoxville, Tenn., and moved to St. Petersburg in 1954 from Cincinnati, Ohio. She is survived by one step-son, Glen C. Peak of Tampa.

PHILLIPS, James, 78, of Social Circle, GA passed away on November 30, 2001. He was born on March 05, 1923, in Hillsborough County, Florida, to the late Mamie Kersey Phillips and the late James Benjamin Phillips. Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife Pauline of Social Circle, GA; son: Robert Phillips of Social Circle, GA and his grandson: Robert Phillips Jr., of Tampa, FL. The pallbearers will be the City of Tampa Police Honor Guard and the Masonic Fellowship Lodge #265 F & A. M. will serve as honorary pallbearers. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 05, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park where Mr. Phillips will receive full police honors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at Blount Curry & Roel Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, FL.

Survivors include, husband Atilano Rivera of Brandon,; son, Atilano Rivera, Jr. of LaGloria Trujillo Alto, PR,; two daughters, Nilsa and Josefa Rivera of Brandon,; one brother, Aris Santiago of Brookyln, NY,; one sister Celia Lopez of Hatillo, PR,; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs Santiago, lived i n the Tampa Bay area the past 15 years coming from her native Puerto Rico, she attended Nativity Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 4, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at Nativity Catholic Church, the family will receive friends at the Stowers Brandon Chapel Tuesday, December 4, from 10:00 til 12:00 p.m.

SCHUCK, Robert G., of Sun City Center passed away November 29, 2001. He was born in Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania . He was a retired sales manager for Black & Decker and a veteran of World War II. He was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of Palmetto Elks Lodge and a member of John Mercer Masonic Lodge in Omaha, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn T. Schuck; two sons, Ronald and Richard Schuck; a daughter, Joyce Solis; two stepsons, Robert and Mark Broughton; a stepdaughter, Teresa Howard; a brother, Ames Schuck; a sister, Dorothy Amerman; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 7, at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Lewers Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Don Tanner. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.

STONE, Bernice A., 72 of Valrico, passed away on December 1, 2001. She is survived by one son, Larry Stone; one daughter, Ethel White; three brothers, Edward Aycock, Jeffrey Glynn Aycock and Roger Aycock; one sister, Lois Floyd; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Mrs. Stone was a resident of the area most of her life and at the age of 52 she graduated an honor student from night school t o receive her high school diploma. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2001, at 11 a.m. from Hopewell Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Welcome Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Survivors include her two daughters, Hannah Hinson of Tampa and Lenora Duggan of Michigan; three sons, Johnny Wells of Tampa, Walton Wells of Lutz and Charlie Wells of Parrish. 18 grandchildren , 31 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was a native of Washington County, Fla., a homemaker and a member of t he El Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2001 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Flowers will be accepted or donations made to Hospice or the El Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund in her memory.

DIBBLE, Ronald James, 45, of Zephyrhills, died at his residence Saturday, December 1, 2001. He is survived by his parents, Charles and Shirley Dibble; two brothers, Robert and Rodney; one sister, Robin Pietkewicz; five nieces and nephews, Lori, Lance, and Natasha Dibble, Shannon Savarese and Jordan Pietkewicz, all of Zephyrhills; and several aunts and uncles. He was born in Utica, New York and moved to the area on e year ago from Concord, N.H. he was a computer programmer. A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend R. GLOER, Donald L., 79 of San Antonio, Fla., died November 29, 2001 at Pasco Regional Medical Center, Dade City. Born in Fremont, Ohio, he moved to Florida in 1985. Mr. Gloer was a retired civil engineer for Mosser Construction Co., Fremont, Ohio. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and member of Elks Lodge #169, Moose Lodge #1610 and American Legion Post #0121, all in Fremont, Ohio. He is survi ved by his wife, Phyllis Gloer of San Antonio; two sons, Gary Gloer of Curtice, Ohio, and Alan Gloer of Fremont; two daughters, Dian Loewe of Woodhaven, Mich., and Pamela Willis of Phoenix, Ariz.; four brothers, Edwin, Richard, Dale and James Gloer; one sister, Dolores Klohn; and five grandchildren. Born in Coffee County, Ala., Mrs. Davis was a longtime resident of Valrico. She was also a member of the Brandon Assembly of God. Our beloved Richard was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Harley and Opal Guthrie; daughter, Susan Tedesco and faithful dog, Little Bit. Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley Guthrie; sister, Judith Kay Guthrie of Zephyrhills; brother, Theodore (Ted) Guthrie of Tampa; and his children, Thomas Tedesco of Ft. Laude rdale, Fla., Tina Tedesco of Valrico, Dolores and Jimmy Acevedo of Riverview, Antoinette Tedesco of Lithia, and Barbara and Dan Perez-Tedesco of Lithia. Richard retired after 33 years as a dedicated employee of the City of Tampa & Hillsborough County Clerk of the Court.
