HOCKETT, James R., 81, born in Lynn, Ind., May 25, 1921. Mr. Hockett moved to Richmond, Ind. where he attended high school, he joined the U.S. Marines in 1939 serving in the South Pacific during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. After leaving the service, he became plant manager of Moto Mower. Mr. Hockett moved to Clair-Mel City in 1959. He retired from American Freight as assistant terminal manager in 1978. Mr. Hockett is survived by his wife, Lillian Hockett of 57 years; daughter, Kathi Dey Armin and husband Carl Dey Armin; son, Robert Malott and wife Wendy Malott; Grandson, James Diaz and dear friend Meka Kearney; granddaughter, Tamara Stockfis and husband Ian; sister, Lucille Lawson, Indianapolis, Ind.; brother-in-law, Jack Frist of New Paris, Ohio. There will be no Memorial Services and the family request in lieu of flowers please donate to LifePath Hospice.

KOHLES, Jane M., 90, passed away March 21, 2003 in Odessa. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lutz. Born in Elmira, N.Y. She moved to Tampa from Syracuse, N.Y. in 1985. Predeceased by her husband John; she is survived by son, John and daughter-in-law Nina of Odessa; daughter, Diane and son-in-law Anthony Lamacchia of Syracuse; sisters, Sara of Kentucky and Lucille of Albany, N.Y.; grandsons Christopher and Daniel of Odessa and Christine of Tampa, and several nieces and nephews. A requiem Mass is to be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church in Camillus N.Y. today with burial in Syracuse.

KOVACH, Joseph, 88, of Tampa, Fla. passed away Sunday, March 23, 2003. He is survived by three sons, Robert, David and Joseph; a daughter, Patricia Kovach; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

KRETZSCHMAR, Wolfgang H., 95, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Friday, Mar. 21, 2003 in Tampa. He was born in Germany and moved to Tampa from Mount Dora, Fla., where he had resided since 1971, in 1999 to be closer to family members. He was a Protestant and a member of the Mount Dora Country Club and the Masonic Lodge #238 F.&A.M. of Mount Dora. Mr. Kretzschmar is survived by three daughters, Beverly J. Butters of Safety Harbor, Fla., Betty A. Quimby of Knoxville, Tenn., and Randee L. Slocum of Tampa. He is also survived by one sister, Gertrude Dragon of Coventry, Conn.; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services for Mr. Kretzschmar will be held from the Eustis Chapel of Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Directors Tuesday, Mar. 25, 2003 at 10 a.m. with interment following at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.

McENTYRE Mae K., who resided at Freedom Plaza in Sun City Center passed away on March 19, 2003, following a long illness. Mae was born December 16, 1916, in Bemidji, Minnesota, to Frank and Kathryn Cook. Survived by her sister-in-la,w Pat Cook of Fairbanks, Alaska; nephews, Mike, Dennis and Jeff Cook and their families of Fairbanks, Alaska; and nieces, Jenny Cook Lyman, Nancy Cook and Toni Cook Monsey and their families of Montana, Alaska and Vermont. Mae is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; and her brothers, Howard Cook and Earl Cook. Mae graduated from Waconia High School in Minnesota in 1935. Following graduation, Mae began a life of adventure that took her to Idaho, Alaska, Florida, Washington D.C., Maine and back to Florida. Mae met her husband, George `Mac` McEntyre in Alaska while she was attending the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. They were married in Fairbanks in the summer of 1939. Mae spent most of her working career as an administrative assistant to the Air Force Systems Command in Washington D.C., retiring in 1967. Mae enjoyed traveling, golf and many close friendships during her retirement. A memorial service will be held for Mae at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday March 26, 2003, at Freedom Plaza in Sun City Center. Remembrances to Mae should be made in her name to the Mary and Martha House, P.O. Box 1251, Ruskin, FL 33570.

ONDROVIC, Clara Anna, 77, native of St. Joseph, Fla., and 54 year resident of Tampa, passed away March 16, 2003. Survivors include her sons, John, Robert, Stephen, Leo, Kenneth and David; her daughters, Joan, Karen Cundiff and Helen Gittemeier; her brother, Louis Barthle; her sister, Philamena McCrory; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ondrovic belonged to the Rosarymakers at Christ the King Catholic Church, where she was a member. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 27, 2003 at 10 a.m. in the chapel at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S. Dale Mabry Hwy. Inurnment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive their friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m at the Marsicano Funeral Home, 4040 Henderson Blvd., with a Rosary Service scheduled for 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to LifePath Hospice in her memory.

PELHAM, Joe, age 71, of Lutz passed away Sunday, March 23, 2003 at his residence. He is survived bY his wife, Joyce; son, Allen W. Pelham and his wife, Nadine; daughter, Carole Maxfield and her husband, Ron; grandchildren, Brad, Derek, Allison and Joey Pelham, Quentin and Houston Maxfield; brothers, Leon Pelham and W.C. Pelham; sisters, Estelle Dodson, Mary Havens, Annette Powell and Jeanette Powell. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the 1st Baptist Church of Lutz. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave.

PEREZ, Reno, R.,97, of Tampa died in the presence of his beloved family. He is survived by nieces, Diane Fernandez, Doris Zureich and husband, Raymond, Gloria Hogan and husband Harold; great-niece, Susan Angelos and husband David; nephews, Mike and Andy Perez; great-great nephew, David Angelos and many other nieces and nephews. He was retired from the New York Transit Authority and was an Army Veteran of World War II. Visitation Services will be held Wednesday, 26, from 9-11 a.m. with the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.

POTTER, Barbara A., passed away March 21, 2003 at her sister's home with her loving family at her side. She fought a courageous battle with cancer for the past year. A native of Georgia she moved from Atlanta to Tampa in 1986. She graduated from Georgia Southern College and traveled many exciting roads of life before she reached her destination. She retired after leaving Cushman Wakefield as an administrative assistant. She loved dogs especially great danes and poodles. She enjoyed outdoor activities, fishing, boating and gardening, and she was also a history buff. She is a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lutz. She is survived by her very loving sister, Mickey Cowgill and brother-in-law, Reginald Livingston; nephew, Michael McElveen; niece Kelly McElveen; long time friend, Philip Arp and her dog, Piper. Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens Wednesday, March 26, at 10 a.m. in the mausoleum, with visitation 30 minutes prior to service.

PRESSLY, Matilda Atkinson, 77, died Thursday, March 20, 2003 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Ky. She was a lifelong resident of Tampa, Fla., and had most recently lived with her daughter and family in Louisa, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Mattie Williams and Thomas Atkinson. Mrs. Pressly was born October 14, 1925 in Haines City, Fla. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Palmer William Pressly; and a son, Bill Pressly. She was a housewife and member of Thonotosassa United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Hatten and Nancy Kennedy; two sisters, Stuart Wier and Jeanett Jordan; a brother, Thomas Atkinson; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m. at the funeral home with a visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

PRIETO, Juana, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2003, 23 days shy of her 99th birthday. She was born on April 15, 1904 in Key West, Fla., one of seven siblings. She worked in local cigar factories until she and her husband, Hilario (El Sordo), opened their own grocery store, Ideal Groceries in Ybor City, which they operated for over 35 years. She was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Prieto was predeceased by her husband Hilario and son-in-law, Luis Menendez. She is survived by three daughters, Floralia Tambuzzo and husband Joe, Dolores Menendez and Oneida Valdes and husband Armando. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at Woodlawn Cemetery. Everyone is to meet at the cemetery. Pallbearers include Joe Tambuzzo, Armando Valdes, Sr., Luis T. Menendez, M.D., Marcello Tambuzzo, Robert Valdes and Armando Valdes, Jr. Honorary pallbearers include Anthony D. Leto, Vincent Menendez, Manuel Llano, Dr. Jose Sanchez, Saul Rodriguez and Arnold Palaez. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to LifePath Hospice Pearl Team, 3010 W. PRUNER, Geraldine Fleming, 82, of Sun City Center, died March 23, 2003, beloved wife of the late Raymond A. Pruner and mother of the late step- son, Richard Lee Pruner. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was born in Montclair, N.J. and lived in Short Hills, N.J. and Longboat Key, Fla. before moving to Sun City Center in 1985. She was a graduate of Fordham University class of '43 with a BA in Education and a MA in English Literature. She was a high school teacher. During WWII she served in India with The American Red Cross, who loaned her to the U.S. Army to sing professionally for a Special Services Group. After the war, she served with the Office of Strategic Services in Shanghai, China. Following her overseas service, Gerry became a manager with New Jersey Bell Telephone Company, Commercial Dept. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and The Women's Guild. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, Mar. 26, 2003, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Graveside services will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair, N.J.

SCALLY, Elsie Enajene, 87, of Tampa, Fla. passed away Saturday, March 22, 2003. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Stanley J., Sr., son, Warren, grandsons, Stanley J., III and Eric Slane. Survivors include, two sons, Stanley J. Scally, Jr. of Dunnellon, Fla. and David E. Scally of Tampa, Fla.; three daughters, Sharron J. Scally, Norma J. Slane and Nancy Lee Bordolla all of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Ruth Kurz of Ft. Worth, Tx.; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. A native of Greybull, Wy. she moved to the area in 1934 coming from Ben Davis, Mo. She was a member of the East Chelsea Baptist Church of Tampa and was a Sunday School teacher at the church since 1960. Funeral services will be conducted at the East Chelsea Baptist Church 10 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2003. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 26, 2003 from 6 to 8 at Stowers Brandon Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the East Chelsea Baptist Church in her memory.

TALMADGE, Marjorie Louise, of Englewood, Florida passed on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at Bon-Secours Venice Hospital. Born on February 5th in Hartford, Connecticut to Hugo Frank, Jr., and Bertha Sharis, she had been a resident of Englewood four and a half years coming from Valrico, Fla. She originally moved to Florida with her family in 1979 from North Branford, Conn. A woman of many talents, Mrs. Talmadge was a licensed beautician in Conn., and Fla. She was a licensed pilot and she and her husband, Bill would fly their separate planes to various air shows. Marge was a licensed real estate agent for many years in Conn., and Fla. She and her eldest daughter, owned and operated the Blue Lagoon Interior Foliage of Valrico for seventeen years. Currently she was a coach for the Manatee Area Volleyball League and Whitesands Volleyball Club. Survivors include her husband of forty-three years, William B. Talmadge; two daughters, Stormie Eve Talmadge, and Shannon Dale Talmadge; all of whom resided with her in Englewood; one brother, Richard Frank of Charlestown, R.I. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, March 27th at 7 p.m. at the Englewood Community Funeral Home, 3070 So. McCall Road with the Reverend Gerald Switzer officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 2201 Cantu Court, Suite 119, Sarasota, FL 34232, in memory of Mrs. Talmadge.

TANNER, Russell Leonard, age 79, of Lakeland, Fla., passed away, Friday, March 21, 2003, at his residence in Lakeland, Fla., of heart failure. Mr. Tanner was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 6, 1923. He moved to the Lakeland area ten years ago from. St. Claire Shores, Mich., and was a telephone repairman and a catholic and a merchant marine in World War II and a member of the Lakeland American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Tanner, of Lakeland; four daughters, Mary Loridon of St. Claire Shores, Mich., Patricia Wiegand of McComb, Mich, Kathy Goike of Roseville, Mich., Eileen Byrnes of Warren, Mich.; four sons, Russell E. Tanner of Milwaukee, Wis., Kenneth Tanner of St. Claire Shores, Mich, Daniel Tanner of Markette, Mich., Thomas Campbell of Warren, Mich.; one sister, Marion Carlson of West Palm Beach, Fla.; one brother, Bill Tanner of Lakeland, Fla.; seventeen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
