She a homemaker, of the Methodist faith, and a member O.E.S. of Greensburg, Ind. Survivors include four sons, David (Carolyn) Minary of Palm Harbor, Fla., Danny Minary of Port Richey, Dennis (JoAnne) Minary of New Port Richey, Fla., and Doug (Becky) Minary of Port Richey; brother, Harold Clemenz of Greensburg, Ind.; sister, Ruth Burton of St. Charles, Mo.; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

NEOGRA, Peter, 67 of Springhill, Fla., died Monday, August 5, 2003 at Springhill Regional Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. he came here in 1989 from North Brunswick, N.J. He was a signal maintainer for the New York City Transit Authority and a jet engine mechanic in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War from 1953 to 1956. He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Martha; one son, Walter Nagel of New Jersey; three daughters, Krista Neogra of Spring Hill, Fla., Faith LoBianco of Port Richey, Fla., and Chrystal Johnson of Hudson, Fla.; a brother, Frank of Pennsylvania ; a sister, Barbara Benson of Kentucky; and six grandchildren. Friends may call Saturday from 2-4 p.m., at Preferred Funeral Alternatives 2508 U.S. Hwy. 19 Holiday, Fla., 34691 where services will be held at 4 p.m. with Rev. John Fitts officiating.

OCKERS, Peter Herman William, 87, of New Port Richey died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003. Born in Garfield, N.J. he moved here 54 years ago from New Jersey. He was a real estate broker, and a US Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He was a Christina, a member of Gulf Harbors Yacht Club and the Optimist Club in New Port Richey, and a member of the Florida Sheriff's Assn. He is survived by one sister, Dolly Sharockman of Hudson, Fla.; and companion, Elizabeth Allotta, NEw Port Richey. A graveside service will be held Monday, Aug. 11, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens, New Port Richey. Pastor Jim York of Regency Baptist Church will officiate.

She is survived by a son, Robert Shields of Bellerose, New York; two daughters, Michele Natoli of Rosedale, New York, and Karen Houmand, of Richmond, Texas ; two brothers, Henry Abtey of Syosset, New York, and William Abtey, of Port Richey, Fla; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

VARGAS, Jorge A., 56, of Hudson, Fla., died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003, at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson. He was born in San Jose, Costa Rico and moved here from Nashua, N.H. in 1979. He was a tool and die machinist for Widell Industries in New Port Richey, and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Hudson. Survivors include his wife, Lucila Vargas; three sons, Frank Perez of Hollywood, Fla., Luis Vargas of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Raymond Vargas of Port Richey, Fla.; mother, Rene Vargas of San Jose, Costa Rico; two brothers, Gilberto Vargas of Germany and Jose Vargas of Port Richey, Fla.; two sisters, Maria and Mercedes Vargas of San Jose, Costa Rico; and three grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at 12 Noon on Aug. 12, Tuesday, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 8014 S.R. 52, Hudson.

She was born April 7, 1927 in Czechoslovakia and came here from Copiague, N.Y. and was a computer Operator with Western Electric in New York City. She was a Protestant. Survivors include her husband, William; a daughter, Susan Kelly of New Port Richey and one grandchild.

A native of Supia, Colombia and resident of Tampa for the past 18 years, Mrs. Acosta is survived by her sons, Luis Carlos, Jose Antonio, Humberto DeJesus and Ivan Dario Dominguez Acosta; daughters, Maria Elizabeth Trujillo and Luz Darys Dominguez Acosta; mother, Maria De Pava viuda de Acosta; brothers, Guillermo, William, Enrique, Jesus Maria, Ferdinardo and Juan Pablo Acosta De La Pava; sisters. Aidalith Acosta de Acevedo, Romelia Acosta de Barrientos, Marleny Acosta de Guiterrez and Berenice Acosta de Ospina; 17 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Mrs. Bartlett is survived by her husband, Robert Bartlett of Sun City Center, Fla.; sons, Robert Bartlett, Jr. of North Andover, Mass. and, Arthur H. Bartlett of Portland, Oregon; daughter, Bonnie Lee Janson of Glendale, Missouri; sister, Janette and husband Herbert Greene of North Andover, Mass.; and two grandchildren, Kristen and Courtney Bartlett. She retired from Trac Microwave in Tampa. Survived by one daughter, Marie (Roy) Pierce of San Antonio, Fla.; one son, Michael R. Covino of Clearwater; two brothers, two grandsons and three great-grandchildren. A special thanks to the caring nursing staff at the University Community Hospital as well as her attending physicians.

DAVIS, F. Sally, 73, of Brandon, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2003. Preceded in death by her husband, Thurmon F. Davis. She is survived by her sons, James F. and Michael Q. Davis; daughters, Mary K. Burbach, Julia D. Gute and Sharon E. Davis; brother, John Mikulski; sister, Jean Moore; and 10 grandchildren. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., she resided in the Tampa area since 1971. Sally was a Registered Nurse for 13 years at Tampa General Hospital. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church where she was a member of the Womens Guild, St. Francis Circle, a volunteer at Nativity Pastorial Care and a Lay Eucharistic Minister. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2003 at Nativity Catholic Church. GERMUSKA, Mary Ann, 78 of Tampa passed quietly at home to be with God July 31, 2003. Born in Clinton, Iowa, she was a 1950 graduate of the University of Iowa. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry; her brother, Alan Troeger of Austin, Texas ; her son, Chris and wife Sue, and grandsons, Jeff and Sean. Well known for her uplifting personality, Mary Ann will be mourned and sadly missed by the many people whose lives she touched with her generous spirit and famous hospitality. Her family is most grateful for the wonderful care given in her final days, and encourages gifts to LifePath Hospice in lieu of flowers. Services will be held at St. Stephens Catholic Church, 5049 Bell Shoals Road, Valrico, on Saturday, August 9 at 11 a.m.

GUASTELLA, Candida `Tia Can`, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 in Tampa, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband Ignazio. She is survived by nieces, Licia Sessums and her husband John, and Dalia Alexander; many cousins, grandnieces and nephews. Special thanks to Ryan and Raygan, her caregivers of many years. Candy will be missed by her family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in Centro Asturiano Memorial Park.

HESS, Eleanor Anna, 78, of St. Petersburg, formerly of Tampa, died Tuesday, August 5, 2003, at Westminster Shores Health. She came here in 1967 from her native New York. She was a Lab Technician with All Children's Hospital for 18 years and a member of Sundance Ranch Homeowner's Association. She is survived by three daughters, JoAnn Knight of St. Petersburg, Lynn A. McBride of Bradenton and Marguerite Hess of Long Beach, Mississippi; a son, Charles Hess of St. Petersburg; two sisters, Mary Lowry of Casselberry, Florida and Josephine Dodt of New Jersey; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

A native of Markle, Indiana and resident of Tampa for the past 30 years, Mr. Meyers was the owner of Steel and Pipe Supply, Inc., for over 25 years and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Survivors include his loving wife, Patty Meyers; children, Vachon Meyers, Jr., Tamara Anders, Terri King, Sandra Frazier, Michael Marconi and Kim Barth; parents, Joe and Rita Perrier; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. OBERNE, Lou, age 74 of St. Petersburg, formerly of Tampa died Sunday, August 3, 2003 while vacationing in Tahiti. Mr. Oberne was an electrical engineer having participated in many critical operations with the space program. He was a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom and Temple Schaarai Zedek. Survivors include his wife, Sarah; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Fran of Tampa, Robert and Karen of Tampa and Ronald and Sharon of Norfolk, Va.; daughter, Debbie Oberne of Plant City; stepsons, Adam Slohn and wife Vickie, and Jason Slohn and wife Janine; seven grandchildren and his sister and brother-in-law, Hylda and Murray Leitner of Las Vegas, Nev. Funeral services will be held Friday, 10 a.m. at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2713 Bayshore Blvd., Tampa. Rabbi Marc Sack and Cantor Moshe Friedler will officiate. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Rodeph Sholom Synagogue or Menorah Manor.

A lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area, he was the owner and operator of Rountree and Parrish Used Auto Parts for 26 years. Widowed in 1996, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Patricia Anderlot; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Brayfield; nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be joining her best friend and companion Lillian Thomas who passed away on Aug. 2, 2003. She will be missed by all family and friends.
