Zackie R. (Doc) Cloud, 71, of Greenwood died Wednesday, August 27, 2003, at his residence.

Arrangements will be announced by James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.

Frank Willis Bazzell, 85, of Lovedale died Wednesday, August 27, 2003, at the Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.

He was a retired electrical inspector for the City of Jacksonville, a member of the Lovedale Baptist Church and served his country in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by one son, Frank W. Bazzell Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Pearl Virginia "Jordan" Bazzell of Lovedale; one daughter, Linda Pittman and her husband, Stanley G. of Lovedale; one brother, Edward Ancil Bazzell of the Lovedale community; two sisters, Norma Mildred Bazzell of Marianna and Laura Elizabeth McCord, also of the Lovedale community; two grandchildren, Stanley Grat Pittman Jr. and Frank Gavin Pittman, both of the Lovedale community; and one great-grandchild, Lynsey Pittman of the Lovedale community.

The funeral will be held Saturday, August 30, at 11 a.m. at Lovedale Baptist Church with the Revs. Randall Jarnigan and H.E. Daniel officiating. Burial will be in the Bazzell Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Lovedale Baptist Church one hour prior to the funeral.

Flowers will be accepted but donations may be made to the Lovedale Baptist Church.

Lord Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Loralai Alexandra McKinney, infant, died Tuesday, August 26, 2003, at Bay Medical Center in Panama City.

She is survived by her parents, Jessica and Jason McKinney of Marianna; a brother, Aidan Swift of Woodbridge, Va.; maternal grandparents, Barry Neff and his wife, Tina of Panama City Beach, and Lisa Neff of Marianna; paternal grandparents, Connie Hinson and her husband, Eugene of Marianna and William McKinney and his wife, Anita of Lake City; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Kelly of Marianna, Mr. and Mrs. Tallice Hinson of Sneads, Mr. and Mrs. Willie McKinney of Starke, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Drown of Marianna, and Mrs. and Mrs. Bernard Neff of Arkansas; and great-great-grandmother, Frona Neff of Illinois.

A graveside service was held Thursday, August 28, at 9 a.m. at Welcome Assembly of God Church Cemetery in Dellwood with the Rev. Chuck Jackson officiating.

James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna directed.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Culver Cloud of Two Egg; two daughters, Pamela Cloud Mason and her husband, Barry of Havana and Sandra Cloud Pittman and her husband, Grat of Lovedale; five brothers, Robert Cloud of Greenwood, Risher Cloud of Parramore, Lawrence Cloud of Bonifay, Carey Cloud of St. George Island, and Grady Cloud of Bascom; three sisters, Novice Campbell of Dallas, Texas , Justeen LaBarbara of Dallas, Texas and Gail Eddington of Houston, Texas ; and one granddaughter, Lynsey Pittman of Lovedale.

The funeral will be held Sunday, August 31, at 2 p.m. CDT at Lovedale Baptist Church with the Revs. Randall Jarnigan and Ottis Mann officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna directing.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 30, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. CDT at Maddox Chapel in Marianna.

Jessica Jade Stevens, 11, of Cottondale died Wednesday, August 27, 2003, at her residence.

She was a native of Lansing, Mich. but moved to Cottondale in 2002 where she attended Cottondale Elementary School and Piney Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving and devoted parents, Charles and Jennifer Stevens; one brother, Charles Stevens III of Cottondale; paternal grandmother, Margie Ailles of Cottondale; maternal grandparents, Frank and Sue Johnston of Michigan; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who all adored her.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, September 2, at 11 a.m. CDT at Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Register officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel of Marianna directing.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, it was Jessica's wish to help another child who is ill by having donations be made to Covenant Hospice, 4349 Lafayette Street Building 2, Marianna, FL 32446; Make A Wish Foundation, 913 Gulf Breeze Parkway Suite 5A, Gulf Breeze, FL 32561; or the American Cancer Society, 2012 A. Lisenby Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405 in her memory.

Charles Arvle Giddiens, 67, of Cottondale died at South East Alabama Medical Center after a short illness.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Giddiens of Chipley and a sister, Merlene Rogers of Chipley.

He is survived by his wife, Martha A. Giddiens of Cottondale; his mother, Nellie Carroll of Chipley; one daughter, Charlotte and John Nocito of Panama City; two grandchildren, Jarrod and Kandace Nocito; three brothers, C.J. and Jinnie Giddiens of Panama City, Billy Ray and Kitty Giddiens of Chipley, and Clemis Earl and Melba Giddiens of Hyberger, Ala.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 30, at 1:30 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses, 5209 E. 11th St., Panama City with Ray Collins officiating.

Williams Funeral Home of Graceville is in charge of arrangements.

Roy Jones, 76, of Chipley died Wednesday evening, August 27, 2003, in the Washington County Convalescent Center.

He was a native of Jackson County and was the proprietor of the Jones Produce in Campbellton for many years. He enjoyed his work, loved his family and people of all creeds and color. He was known for his honesty and hard work.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Wesley Perkins.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Dorothy "Dot" Jones of Chipley; his children, Ron Jones and wife, Mary of Pensacola, Dr. Don Jones and wife, Julie, also of Pensacola, Terry Jones and wife, Angie and Sherry Gates and husband, Darrell, both of Eufaula, Ala., Dorothy McCallister and husband, William of Graceville, Debbie Norred and husband, Mike of Lynn Haven, and Roger Jones and wife, Paula of Chipley; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 30, in the Blue Lake Baptist Church of Chipley with Pastor Tim Hall officiating and Williams Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery near Bascom.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, Friday, August 29, at the Blue Lake Baptist Church of Chipley.

Martha Sims, 78, of Marianna died Thursday, August 28, 2003, at Jackson Hospital in Marianna.

She was the office manager for Liberty National Insurance until her retirement. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Marianna.

She is survived by her husband, Buford Sims of Marianna; her son, Michael Sims and his wife, Charlotte of Monticello; three brothers, W.L. Pooser, Charles Pooser and L.B. (Cap) Pooser, all of Marianna; four sisters, Frances Ratzlaff of Marianna, Sallie New of Orlando, Kathryn Lucille Ross and Annie L. Scott, both of Houston, Texas ; two granddaughters, Amy Templeton of Tallahassee and Jill Richardson of Thomasville, Ga.; one grandson, Steven Sims of Gainesville; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday, August 30, at 10 a.m. at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in Marianna with the Rev. Michael Petty officiating. Burial will be in the Pope Cemetery in Sneads with Sims Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, Friday, at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Frances "Ann" MacKinnon, 66, a retired teacher from Marianna's Golson Elementary School died at her home in Beacon Hill on August 26, 2003 after a battle with cancer.

The funeral will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church today, August 29, at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ward Clark officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Charles E. Wolcott, 79, of Compass Lake in the Hills, died at his residence Monday, August 25, 2003.

The funeral will be held this morning, Friday, August 29, at 11 a.m. in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Glover officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.

Mary Katherine Davis, 81, of Marianna died Thursday, August 28, 2003, in the Jackson Hospital.

She was a resident of this area since the early 1950s. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Marianna and one of the first employees at the Sears Store in Marianna and retired there after 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel O. Davis in 1995.

She is survived by her son, Joel W. (Bill) Davis and his wife, Karan; a daughter, Janet Davis Harns and her husband, Richard; three grandchildren, Christy Jerkins, Heath Davis, and Amy Harns; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, the Rev. John Merritt of N.C. and J.P. Merritt of Miss.; and one sister, Cora Joyce Davis of Miss.

The funeral will be held Sunday, August 31, at 2 p.m. in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Petty officiating. Burial will be in the Pinecrest Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 30, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.

Marianna Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Rosa Bell Williams, 89, of Marianna died Thursday morning, August 28, 2003, in the Jackson Hospital.

She was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Marianna for more than 62 years. She had served as president of the Women's Ministry, a Sunday school teacher and gave many years of faithful service to the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ryals Williams in 1983 and three sons, Ryals Williams Jr., James A. Williams and Marcus A. Williams.

She is survived by three children, Donald F. Williams and wife, Hallie of Jacksonville, Dorothy W. Gay and husband, Al of Lake City, and Linda W. Hodges and husband, Bill of Marianna; one brother, Joe Gause of Eagle Lake, Texas ; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three daughters-in-law, Guiola Williams, Mattie Williams and Lorrie Williams; and numerous nephews and nieces.

The funeral will be held Saturday, August 30 in the First Assembly of God Church in Marianna at 10 a.m. with Pastor Stephen Potter officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening, Friday, August 29, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church.

Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
