She is survived by a son, Hector Martinez of Puerto Rico; a daughter, Rosa Martinez of Tampa; her father, Pedro of Puerto Rico; several brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. WALTER F. O'CONNELL, 73, of Tampa died Sunday at Town & Country Hospital. A native of Lynn, Mass., he moved to Tampa in 1987 from Lowell, Mass. He was a salesman for a tire company, an Army and Air Force veteran and Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; a son, Daniel of Tampa; and a daughter, Nancy Sharpe of Ontario. GAETANA PERRONE, 92, of Tampa died Monday at Transitional Hospital. A native of Italy, she moved to Tampa in 1944. She was a cigarmaker for City Cigar Factory and Catholic. She is survived by a son, Dominick of Tampa; a brother, Tony of Lakeland; a sister, Mary Santo of Tampa; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Duval Funeral Home, Tampa.

JOHN HENRY "JEFF" QUARTERMAN, 63, of St. Petersburg died Saturday at St. Anthony's Hospital. A native of Florida, he moved to this area in 1955 from Palmetto. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Twentieth Street Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Ruthie; four daughters, LaFredia Small and Ethel Peeples Robinson, both of St. Petersburg, Elois Richardson of Tampa and Carolyn Richardson of Immokalee; a brother, Edmon) of Largo; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. RUSSELL M. STEEL, 88, of Sun City Center died Saturday at home while under the care of Hospice of Hillsborough. A native of Newark, N.J., he moved to the area in 1988 from Fort Myers. He was a district manager for Prudential Insurance Co., Presbyterian, a Mason and Shriner. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L.; two sons, Henry W. of Towsen, Md. and Russell M. Jr. of Roswell, Ga.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Tampa.

JESSE JULIEN TOMLINSON, 66, of Tampa died Friday at home. A native of Fort Myers, he moved to Tampa in 1994. He was a co-pastor at Full Gospel Assembly Church of Tampa and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; three sons, Mark D. of Minneola, Ethan Jesse of Tampa and Darryl Stephen; two brothers, Ernest of Orlando and Gus of Ft. Myers; five sisters, Annie Holcomb of Oklahoma City and Marie Johnson, Faye McDaniel, Lenor Williamson and Lorene Hancock, all of Tampa; and one grandchild. VICTOR "LEE" WATSON, 45, of Riverview died Monday at South Bay Hospital. A native of Nashville, Tenn., he moved to the area in 1976. HERBERT MORNINGAR COLLINS, 82, of Dover died Monday in Brandon. A native of Thomasville, Ga., he was a longtime resident of the area. D. RICHARD D'ALESSANDRO, 69, of Tampa died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Philadelphia, he moved to Tampa in 1959 from Detroit. He was a general surgeon at St. Joseph's Hospital, member of Hillsborough County Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Florida Association of General Surgeons, American Medical Association, Society for the Study of Breast Cancer, American College of Surgeons, Hillsborough County Division of American Cancer Society Board of Directors, North Hillsborough Rotary Club and was Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of South Florida. He is survived by his wife, Janet; a son, Beatty of St. Louis; two daughters, Bee Hayes and Bobbi Taman, both of Tampa; two sisters, Grace Bucci of Philadelphia and Gloria Bilotta of Forest City, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
