Roslyn Ingram of Marianna died Nov. 26, 2003.

She was a homemaker, a member of the First Presbyterian Church, and attended Florida State College for Women. She was a member of the Presbyterian Women's Circle, the Jackson County Historical Society, the Daughter's of the American Revolution (D.A.R.), and the Garden Club. She was also a Florida Gator fan.

She is survived by: a daughter, Lyn Helseth of Ocala; a brother, Carl Eks Fellows of Beaumont, Texas ; a sister, Lauranne Kendall of Marianna; a granddaughter, Janet Taylor Hurst; and a great-granddaughter, Megan.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the First Presbyterian Church of Marianna at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis National Society, 3659 Maguire Blvd., Orlando, FL.

Jim Frank Shouppe, 68, of Chattahoochee died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, in Crestview.

A retired vocational instructor with Appalachee Correctional Institution in Sneads, he was a native of Jackson County and had lived in Gadsden County since very early in his adult life. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Chattahoochee where he was a former deacon and was the Sunday School teacher for the Adult II class. He worked with the Meals on Wheels program in Chattahoochee and loved to fish and hunt, and also loved baseball.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda Rae Wiggins; five brothers; and three sisters.

He is survived by: His wife, Helen M. Shouppe of Chattahoochee; a son, Jamey Shouppe and his wife Karen of Tallahassee; three daughters, Debbie Branch and her husband Donnie of the Shady Grove Community, Lora Wiggins and her husband David of Tallahassee, and Angela Bodine and her husband Major Scott of DeRidder, La.; two brothers, Joe Pete Shouppe of Clearwater, and Bobby Shouppe and his wife Jean of Milton; four sisters, Mary Jones and her husband Walker, and Lucy Harvell and her husband G.B., both of Cottondale, Barbara Lewis of Bainbridge, Ga., Patricia Preininger and her husband Louie of Gulf Breeze; 13 grandchildren, Justin Branch and his wife Kristin, Rusty Branch and his wife Melanie, Jeremy Branch, Jake Shouppe, Kasey Shouppe, Jared Shouppe, Alicia Wiggins, Andrea Wiggins, Brooke Bodine, Kailey Bodine, and Garrett Bodine; brother and sisters-in-law, James and Eva Lee Mitchell of Chattahoochee, and Glen and Eunice Nobles of Grand Ridge; and many special nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. EST, Wednesday, Dec. 10, at First Baptist Church in Chattahoochee. Burial will be at Dykes Cemetery in Jackson County.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Lanier-Andler Funeral Home in Sneads.

Nellie Darby McDaniel, 82, of Grand Ridge died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at her home.

She was a loving mother and homemaker who lived most of her life in Jackson County. She was a member of the El Bethel Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Maggie and Henry Darby; her husband, William Charles McDaniel Sr. (Doc); two sisters, Omie Lee Holloway and Allie Darby; and her great-grandson, Dax Wardlaw.

She is survived by: Four daughters, Barbara Hatcher and her husband Robert, Wanda Cloud, Cathy Maphis and her husband Rae, all of Grand Ridge, and Dorothy Crutchfield and her husband Charles of Marianna; three sons, William Charles (W.C.) McDaniel Jr. and his wife Ann, Roger McDaniel and his wife Deidra of Grand Ridge, and Douglas McDaniel and his wife Judy of Thomasville, N.C.; one sister, Ava Edwards of Sneads; one brother, James Darby of Quincy; 13 grandchildren, Bridget Cloud Parrish, Christopher Maphis, Crystal Maphis, Debbie Sheffield, Stephanie Hatcher, Sophia O'Neal, Gary Folsom, Tanya Anderson, Randy McDaniel, Lisa Hall, Charles McDaniel, Monique McDaniel and Monica McMasters; and ten great-grandchildren, Kayla Brown, Cessna Folsom, Ariel Folsom, Trent McDaniel, Trisen McDaniel, Cameron Parrish, Austin McMasters, Shantel Parramore, McKenzie O'Neal and Ryder McDaniel.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., CST, Wednesday, Dec. 10, at El Bethel Assembly of God Church with the Rev. William Walker officiating. Burial will be in Dykes Cemetery in Grand Ridge with James and Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, at James and Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel.

Robert F. Matthews, 74, of Two Egg died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at the Medical Center in Dothan.

He was a native of Bascom and a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He retired from Florida State Hospital after 36 years of service as a maintenance mechanic. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Marianna.

He is survived by: His wife of almost 55 years, Edna Matthews of Two Egg; one son, Nicholas Matthews and his wife Regena of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Justen and Danita Matthews; two brothers, Archie Albert (Buddy Boy) Matthews of Tampa, and Coleman Matthews of Two Egg; and two sisters, Myrtle Tipton of Marianna and Sarah Manning of Montgomery.

The funeral will be held today, Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. CST at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Marianna with Elder Michael Clark officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at Maddox Chapel.

Nellie Darby McDaniel, 82, of Grand Ridge died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at her home.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. CST, today, Wednesday, Dec. 10, at El Bethel Assembly of God Church in Grand Ridge. Burial will be in Dykes Cemetery in Grand Ridge with James and Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel directing.

Audrey Leona Bush, 81, of Marianna died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, in Marianna.

She is survived by: One son, Roy Bush of Marianna; one daughter, Joan Bush of Marianna; and a niece, Janice Hansford of Marianna.

Arrangements will be announced by James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.

Rolande F. Lashley, 80, of Marianna died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, in the Chipola Nursing Pavilion.

She lived in this area since 1996, after moving here from Fort Worth, Texas . She worked in Aerospace for about 20 years. She was a Catholic by faith and loved her dogs. She was a member of the American Belgium Tervuren Club, Belgium Shepard Dog Club of United Kennel Club, and Sunshine Belgium Tervuren Club.

She is survived by: Her husband of 32 years, Richard Lashley of Marianna; one son, Arnold L. Hindin and his wife April of Anchorage, Alaska; one brother, Daniel Forget and his wife Elaine of Quiberon, France; and nine grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. with Father Paul White officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.

The family requests no flowers but memorial may be made in her name to Partners for Pets.

Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Audrey Leona Bush, 81, of Marianna died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, in Marianna.

She was born in Slocomb, Ala. but had lived in Jackson County for several years. She was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Alford and Mary Lockard; her husband, Harry L. Bush; a brother, Evern Lockard; and a sister, Monette Bush.

She is survived by: One son, Roy Bush of Marianna; one daughter, Joan Bush of Marianna; one brother, Clarence Lockard of DeFuniak Springs; four sisters, Ruby Knight of Tampa, Ann Smith of Apoka, Mary Oalmann of Louisiana and Billie Whitlock of Sefner; two grandsons, Christopher and Kenneth Wayne Bush; two nieces, Janice Hansford and Anita Turner; and a host of several other nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. CST at Maddox Chapel with the Rev. Jack Howell officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends today, Friday, Dec. 12, from 6 until 8 p.m. CST at the funeral home.

Horace M. Richbourg, 83, of Marianna died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at his residence.

He was a native of St. Andrews but had lived most of his life in Jackson County. He was a farmer and in the timber business for many years. He was also a member of the Cypress Baptist Church. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by: His wife of 62 years, Ruth Richbourg of Marianna; two daughters, Mackie Williams and her husband Henry of Lilburn, Ga., and Carolyn Crumpler and her husband Kenneth of Marianna; one brother, A.D. Richbourg of Panama City; one sister, Daisy Lee Engelhardt of Dunedin; four grandchildren, Steve Crumpler, Wendy Causey, Karen Minnick and Teresa Mears; seven great-grandchildren, Erika, Bret, Sterlin, Joseph, Christopher, Michael and Lauren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held today, Friday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. CST at Maddox Chapel with the Revs. Ronnie Wright and Jack Howell officiating. Burial will be in the Cypress Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

Evelyn D. Morris, 77, of Marianna died Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at her residence.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Morris.

She is survived by: Three sons, Sidney Morris of Blountstown, Jerry Morris and James Morris, both of Cypress; two daughters, Luvenia Chambers of Donalsonville and Anita Sheets of Tallahassee; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. CST, Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Polar Branch Cemetery near Greensboro with the Revs. Jack Howell and Andy Glover officiating.

The family received friends from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday at Maddox Chapel.

James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel was the in charge of the arrangements.

Dorothy J. Wilferd left this earth on Dec. 15, 2003, to live in her Heavenly home with Lord and Savior.

Leaving behind a loving family, she had lived all her life near Cottondale where she was a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church. She retired from Kerr McGee Corporation.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert and Henry Brock.

She is survived by: Two sons, Bland Wilferd and his wife Linda of Columbia, S.C., and Gene Wilferd and his wife Aethia of Cottondale; one daughter, Dawn Wilferd Boland and her husband Walter of Brandon; two brothers, Clinton Brock and his wife Jeannie of Havana, and Lloyd Brock and his wife Betty Lou of Tampa; one sister, Jearldine Cutchins of Southport; two sisters-in-law, Betty Brock of Sneads and Linda Brock of Cottondale; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Friday, Dec. 19, at 10 a.m. at the Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Register officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Brown Funeral of Chipley directing.

Visitation will be at Wachob Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations made to Piney Grove Baptist Church.

Sarah "Beth" Sullivan, 54, of Greenwood died at her residence Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003.

Arrangements will be announced by Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
