Mrs. Bonnie Violet Deal, 92, of Lynn Haven, Fla., died Friday, March 17, 2000 in a local nursing home. Born in Noma, Fla., she was a lifelong resident of Lynn Haven. She worked as a clerk for Domestic Laundry in Panama City and was Baptist by faith. Mrs. Deal is preceded in death by her husband, Caswell Deal; a son, Terrill Deal; and a daughter, Edith Deal Sigler. She is survived by three grandchildren: Terrill M. Deal and wife Gina of Panama City, Donald Sigler and wife Vicki, Ricky Sigler and wife Jan, all of Michigan. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Deal will be conducted on Monday, March 20, at 2 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery with Mr. Steve Southerland II officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday before the funeral.

ALBERT O'NEAL 'RED' FAIN
Funeral services for Mr. Albert O'Neal "Red" Fain, age 89, of 3019 Douglas Road, Panama City, Fla., who died Thursday, March 16, 2000 will be held 2 p.m. today, March 18, 2000 at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Key officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

MILLARD P. GEORGE
Mr. Millard P. George, 89, of Panama City, died Thursday, March 16, 2000 in a local nursing home. He was born in Esto, Fla., July 25, 1910. Mr. George retired from civil service in 1963 having worked at Tyndall Air Force Base and Dobbins Air Force Base in Marietta, Ga. Mr. George was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by a son, Billy J. George and wife Frances of Lynn Haven, Fla.; three granddaughters: Renee Stanley and husband Lance of Lynn Haven; Gina Mahmood and husband Mark of San Diego, Calif.; and Denise George of Nashville, Tenn.; four great-grandchildren: Lauren and Travis Stanley and Gabriella and Nicholas Mahmood; one brother, Buford George of Parker, Fla.; one sister, Nell Artlidge of Lynn Haven. Graveside funeral services for Mr. George will be at Bethany Baptist Church, 10 miles norht of Bonifay on State 79 N., Sunday, March 19, 2000 at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Ron Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Cemetery located at the church. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6 to 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to the Van Fund of Bethany Baptist Church, Rt. 2 Box 220H, Bonifay, Fla. 32425.

LONIE HARTZOG HOWELL
Mrs. Lonie Hartzog Howell, 94, Panama City, Fla., died Thursday evening March 16, 2000 in a local nursing home. Born in Coffee Springs, Ala., she was a lifelong resident of this area. She was employed by Woodcrest Nursery and Garden and The Garden Gate Nursery. She was Primitive Baptist by faith. Mrs. Howell is preceded in death by a son, Thomas E. Howell in 1960. She is survived by one son, Bill R. Howell and wife Hazel of Lynn Haven; one daughter, Aundoris H. Bevis and husband Foster P. of Panama City; daughter-in-law, Mary C. Howell of Albuquerque, N.M.; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 19, in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Steve Southerland II officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening.

CLARENCE LESLIE (SKIPPER) JINKS III
Clarence Leslie (Skipper) Jinks III, 50, of 607 West 11th St., died Wednesday in his home. He was manager of a trailer park. He was a 1967 graduate of Bay High School and attended Gulf Coast Community College and the University of Florida. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City. He is survived by two sons, Patrick Leslie Jinks, and Christopher Thomas Jinks and their mother, Cindy Hardy; his parents, C.L. (Les) and Mary Catherine Jinks; brother, Russell Jinks and his wife Nancy, all of Panama City; sister, Sue Jinks Robertson and her husband John of Decatur, Ga.; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Corine Moody of Panama City; his uncle, Hugh Miller; and his special friend, Barbara. Memorial services will be held today at 2 p.m. in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Craig Conner, the Rev. Walter Cathey and the Rev. David Anderegg officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Those desiring to may make a donation to Bay Medical Behavioral Health Center, 1940 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, Fla. 32405 in memory of Skipper Jinks. The family will be at the home of Les and Mary Catherine Jinks, 100 Cherry St., Apt. #3.

Mr. Royal Lee Worlds, 37, of 1120 Bay Ave., died Wednesday March 16, 2000 in a local hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Panama City. He received his former education in Bay County schools. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Worlds; one son, Carlos Worlds; sisters: Eva Mae, Mrs. Wanda Whigham (Charles), Ms. Sherri Y. Worlds; brothers, Mr. Eugene Worlds (Patricia) and Mr. David Lee Worlds, all of Panama City; sister, Ms. Irene Worlds (Carl) and brother, Rdell Worlds Jr. (Ola) of Marianna; sister, Dorothy Postelle (Nathaniel) of Las Vegas, Nev.; four aunts: Mrs. Lizzie Jane Comer and Mrs. Ida Dean both of Panama City; Mrs. Inez Waters (Thomas) of Prichard, Ala., and Mrs. Patty Lee of Donaldsonville, Ga.; a very devoted fiancee and special friend, Carol Tyson; a devoted niece and nephew, Teborah and Earl La France III; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Worlds will be held Sunday, March 19, at 11 a.m. in Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Myra Andrews, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Nubbin Ridge Cemetery in Greenwood, Fla. The remains will repose at the church this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. The family will receive relatives and friends at 1120 Bay Ave.

SHERMAN E. DALTON
Sherman E. Dalton died March 15, 2000, in a local nursing home. He was 85. Mr. Dalton was born to the late Bud and Elizabeth Dalton on Oct. 19, 1914. He was one of eight children. He moved to Panama City in 1950 where he united with Mt. Olive Baptist Church to deepen his relationship with Jesus Christ. He was an active and supportive member of the church. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Beulah Dalton; two sons, the Rev. Sherman (Mary) Dalton Jr., and Sherman L. (Carla) Dalton; granddaughter Breyanna Dalton. One loving son preceded him in death, Glen Dalton, and loving aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Dalton will be Monday, March 20 at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Woodrow Wilson officiating. Services will begin at 2 p.m. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service and visitation will be today at the Gainer Family Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m.
