Jeffery Lynn Gazelle
Jeffery Lynn Gazelle, age 55, of Stockbridge, Georgia died February 27, 2007. Mr. Gazelle was born June 4, 1951 in Ashtabula County, Ohio. He worked for Fox Appliance Parts in Lake City; enjoyed sports, Braves baseball, and spending time at the lake and the ocean.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Judi Gazelle; and stepchildren, Kevin and Meagan Chambers, all of Stockbridge; parents, Ed and Dolores Gazelle of Hartwell; sister and brother-in-law, Claudia Rae and Mark McEvers of Wellington, Florida; mother-in-law, Sue Stanford; sister-in-law, Tammi Shaw; niece, Leigha Shaw, all of Cartersville.
Services were held March 2 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Phil Bevell officiating. Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Evelyn Martha Cooper Brown
Evelyn Martha Cooper Brown, age 87, of Stockbridge, Georgia died February 28, 2007. Mrs. Brown was born August 19, 1919 in Dublin, the daughter of the late Martha R. Barron and Andrew J. Cooper. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Stock-bridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Clayton Brown; sister, Dorothy Clay; and a brother, Barron Cooper.
She is survived by her children, Wayne and Helen Brown of McDonough, Belinda Brown of Decatur; granddaughter, Susan Brunson of Augusta; and great-grandchildren, T.J. Brunson and Nellie Brunson.
Services were held March 3 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. Trinton Swanson officiating. Interment Fairview Memorial Park. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Jared Lee Cochran
Jared Lee Cochran, age 3, of McDonough, Georgia died February 28, 2007. Jared was born August 2, 2003 in Clayton County. He was a fun loving child and even though he was impaired, he touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Misty Cochran of McDonough; sister, Ariel Cochran of McDonough; grandparents, Ronnie and Doris Pittman of Locust Grove, Susan and Ted Weathersbee of Snellville; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services were held March 3 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, with Rev. James Powell and Rev. Dewey Fisher officiating. Interment Locust Grove Cemetery. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Barry Lee Yarian
Officer Barry Lee Yarian, age 46, of Stockbridge, Georgia died March 1, 2007. Barry was born July 21, 1960 in Fulton County. He served as a police officer with the City of McDonough Police Department for eight years. He served as a volunteer fireman, EMT, and was a member of The Georgia Police Chief’s Association, GALEFI, MATEN, and GTOA. He attended Stockbridge Assembly of God. He enjoyed his family, working, fishing, shooting, camping, golf and helicopters.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy Yarian of Stockbridge; children, Tiffany Yarian of Stockbridge, Amanda Yarian of Jonesboro; parents, George and Wynelle Yarian of Eatonton; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Cathy Yarian of Fayetteville, mother and father-in-law, Alvie and Margaret Rodgers of Ellenwood; brother and sister-in-law, Alvie and Mary Catherine Rodgers of Stockbridge; nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
Services were held March 4 at Stockbridge Assembly of God, with Pastor Jerry Stewart and Alvie Rodgers officiating. Interment Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. Haisten Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Alma Kinsey Tolbert
Alma Kinsey Tolbert, age 98, of Stockbridge, Georgia died March 4, 2007. Mrs. Tolbert was born in New Holland, the daughter of the late Frank and Zoe Imogene Hunnicutt Kinsey. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Leonard Tolbert, Sr.
She is survived by her children, Marion Tolbert, Jr. of Alpharetta, Janice and Ken Maples of Albany, Terry and Linda Tolbert of Milledgeville, Brenda and Bob Sanders of Lawrenceville, Margaret Ulman of Stockbridge, Zack and Belle Tolbert?of Griffin, Shirley and Chris Greenway of Fayetteville; brother, Darwin and Katherine White of Roswell; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Hugh D. Gibson
Hugh D. Gibson, age 72, of Stockbridge, Georgia died March 4, 2007. Mr. Gibson was a member of Stockbridge United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.H. Gibson; and brother, Raymond Gibson.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita B. Gibson; daughter, Sandra (Chris) Parrish; sister, Barbara (Al) Davis; brother, Leon (Becky) Gibson; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held March 6 at Fairview Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Mack W. Riley officiating. Those wishing may contribute to a charity of your choice in Hugh Gibson’s name. Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, Fairview Chapel, in charge of arrangements.

Joshua Elisha Spencer
Joshua Elisha Spencer, age 9, of McDonough, Georgia died March 5, 2007. Joshua was born July 21, 1997 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He enjoyed karate, basketball, riding his bike, swimming, and hanging out with friends. He was a student at McDonough Elementary School and always tried to please.
He is survived by his parents, Eliott N. and Sharlene Spencer; and sisters, Shani and Hannah Spencer, all of McDonough; grandmothers, Luriel Spencer of Florida, Arlene Lakhran of St. Vincent; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Benjamin Franklin Miller
Benjamin Franklin (Bennie) Miller, age 70, of McDonough, Georgia died March 7, 2007. Mr. Miller was born in Newton County, the son of the late Lucious Washington and Susan Eunice Chaffin Miller. He served our country in the Army and retired as a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in McDonough, where he served for many years on the Administrative Board, and sang in the choir until health would not permit. He was the church historian for many years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of the Confederate Veterans, and Military Order of the Stars and Bars. He served as State Color Guard Commander for the SAR, being the first to receive the Bronze and Silver Color Guard Medal in the state. He received the prestigious Medal of Honor from the Daughters of the American Revolution.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne Floyd Miller of McDonough; son, David Franklin Miller of Bennett, Colorado; grandchildren, Andrew Garrett Miller of Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas , Michael Vincent Miller and Jonathon David Miller of Colorado; sister, Ida Lou and Palmer Sims of Locust Grove; sister-in-law, Bessie Miller?of Conyers; nieces, nephew, and cousins.
Services were held March 10 at McDonough First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dana Everhart and Rev. Mack Riley officiating. Interment Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church Pipe Organ Fund in his memory. Those who wish may sign the on-line guest registry at www.cannon-cleveland.com. Bill Spinks
Bill Spinks, age 82, of Stockbridge, Georgia died March 9, 2007. Mr. Spinks was born in Atlanta, the son of the late William Thomas and Annie Hooten Spinks, Sr. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Stockbridge, where he was the secetary of the Omega Sunday School Class. He was a devoted Christian and a strong family man. To all who knew him he was very kind, very caring and he never met a stranger. In his earlier years he loved square dancing, and bowling with his wife and friends, and in later years he became a jack of all trades and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, camping, and card playing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Margaret Spinks; sons, Larry (Carol) Spinks of Morrow, Jack (Beverly) Allen of Lilburn, Tommy (Janis) Spinks of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Delaine Payne, Kyle Allen, Grant Allen, Crystal Spinks, Janna Spinks, and Craig Spinks; and niece, Ann Blair.
Services were held March 11 at Stockbridge First Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Murell officiating. Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may sign the on-line guest registry at www.cannon-cleveland.com. Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Solomon Mack
Solomon "S.D." Mack, age 82, of McDonough, Georgia died March 10, 2007. Mr. Mack was born in Andalusia, Alabama, the son of Leman and Amy King Mack. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and a retired Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Floyce Mack; and sons, Gregory (Joy) Mack, and Lee (Debra) Mack, all of McDonough; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
