Jane King
Memorial services for Jane Dunwody King will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in Ingleside Memorial Chapel. Private burial was in Riverside Cemetery earlier. King, 83, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000. Born in Bibb County, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Kate Bowen Dunwody. She was the widow of A.R. King Jr., who served as Bibb County coroner from 1960 to 1981. She was a member of Church of the Wildwood and the Exchangettes.

Survivors include her children, Jane D. Walker of Macon, A.R. King III of Lilburn, Felix M. King and J. Michael King, both of Forsyth; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Selma Lewis
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Services for Selma Seligman Lewis will be at 1 p.m. today in Temple Israel with private burial. Lewis, 78, died Thursday, March 2, 2000. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Rose Seligman. The widow of James Marshall Lewis Sr., she was an author and historian. She was a member of Temple Israel.

Survivors include her children, James M. Lewis and Jane Ross, both of Memphis, and Susan Lewis of Nashville, Tenn.; sister and brother, Sally Gilbert of Burbank, Calif., and Ewing Seligman of Louisiana; and three grandchildren.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Kenyata Lucas
ROBERTA - Services for Kenyata Denise Lucas will be at 2 p.m. today in the Crawford County Middle School Auditorium, with burial in Lucas Cemetery, Reynolds. Lucas, 11, died Wednesday, March 1, 2000. A sixth-grader at Crawford County Middle School, she was involved in basketball and track. She was a member of White Hill Baptist Church and sang in the junior choir.

Survivors include her parents, Gary and Patricia Lucas; sister, Breyata Danielle Lucas of Roberta; grandparents, Andrew and Bernice Lucas and J.D. and Mary Nell Dugger, all of Roberta; great-grandmother, Mollie Rall of Forsyth.

The body may be viewed at Bentley Funeral Home in Roberta until noon today. The family may be contacted at 3473 Hwy. 128. Bentley Funeral Home of Reynolds has charge of arrangements.

Florrie McMillan
MILAN - Services for Florrie S. McMillan were at 4 p.m. Friday in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. McMillan, 79, died Thursday, March 2, 2000. She was born in Dodge County, the daughter of the late Fleetwood and Ethel Bowen Swymer. A homemaker, she was a member of Lynmore United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Angus Malloy; children, Ethelynn M. Stuckey of Washington , D.C., Rita Williams of Milan, Daniel M. McMillan of Eatonton and Donal J. McMillan of Milledgeville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Lowe's Funeral Home, Helena, had charge of arrangements.

Mattie Parker
MILLEDGEVILLE - Services for Mattie Parker will be at 2 p.m. today in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Wilkinson County. Parker, 89, died Thursday, March 2, 2000. Born in Wilkinson County, she made her home in Milledgeville for many years. She was a private duty sitter. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her sisters, Maude Parker of Raleigh, N.C., and Lucille Smallwood of Cary, N.C.

Moores Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Lillie Mae Patterson
DEVEREAUX - Services for Lillie Mae Patterson will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Powell Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Patterson, 82, died Wednesday, March 1, 2000. Born in Hancock County, she was a retired food technician. She was a member of Powell Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Stella Mae Harbour of Michigan; brother and sisters, James Wilson of Devereaux, Ethel Stewart and Flora Anderson both of Far Rockaway Beach, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. Ingram Brothers Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

John Powell
COCHRAN - Services for John Charles "Charlie" Powell will be at 11 a.m. today in Unadilla United Methodist Church with burial in Walnut Cemetery. Powell, 72, died Thursday, March 2, 2000. Born in Plant City, Fla., he was the son of the late T.J. and Lula Crumpler Powell. A Navy veteran, he lived in Unadilla for 52 years before moving to Cochran. He was retired from Robin Air Force Base as avionics maintenance manager. He was a member of Unadilla United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Proctor; daughter and son-in-law, June and Barry NeSmith of Cochran; brother and sisters, Jack Powell Jr. of Atlanta, Dolores Tysl of Anderson, S.C., and Carolyn Haynsworth of Plant City, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unadilla United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 328, Unadilla 31091, or the Hospice of Central Georgia, P.O. Box 6533, Macon 31208.

Terry Queen
SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. - Services for Terry Lynn Queen will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Belin United Methodist Church with burial in the church Cemetery, with full military honors. Queen, 57, died, Thursday, March 2, 2000. Born in Monroe, he was the son of the late Ralph B. Queen. He was an Air Force master sergeant retired after 22 years of service. He was owner and operator of Pro-Tech Security Patrol of Surfside Beach and was a member of Belin United Methodist Church.

Survivors include wife, Linda Rice Queen; son, Branton Rice Queen of Atlanta; mother, Dolores Young Queen of Warner Robins; and brother, the Rev. Rodney Queen of Macon.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. today in Goldfinch Funeral Home Beach Chapel. Memorials may be made to Belin United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 528, Murrels Inlet, S.C. 29576, or Central Fellowship Baptist Church, 8460 Hawkinsville Road, Macon 31216.

Florence Roberson
FORT VALLEY - Services for Florence "Bum" Roberson will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Trinity Baptist Church with burial in Willowlake Memorial Garden Cemetery. Roberson, 70, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000. She was born and attended schools in Peach County, the daughter of the late Arthur and Ofhidia Roberson. She was a domestic worker in Florida and New York. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sisters, Cleo Simmons of Fort Valley and Ofhidia Howard of Reynolds; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The family may be contacted at 304 Benjamin St., Fort Valley. The body will be placed in the church an hour prior to services. Habersham Funeral Home, Fort Valley, has charge of arrangements.

Peggy Shanteau
Services for Peggy Agatha Wynn Shanteau will be at 10 a.m. today in Bridges Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Shanteau, 71, died Thursday, March 2, 2000. She was born in Laurens County, the daughter of the late Ernest and Lavona Maddox Roberts, and graduated from Dudley High School. A graduate of the Macon Hospital School of Nursing, she worked a number of years as a registered nurse before joining Keebler Bakeries in quality control, from which she was retired. She was a former DAV Auxiliary state commander and was a member of the Flag City CB Club.

Survivors include her husband, Merlin Shanteau; a son, Billy Wynn of Summerville, S.C.; sisters and brother, Betty Fowler and Vondell Holliday, both of Athens, Jeanette Thomas of Wedowee, Ala., and Terry Roberts of Macon; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

John Smith
SANDERSVILLE - Services for John Robert Smith will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in Kendall Heights Church of God with burial in the Davisboro City Cemetery. Smith, 58, died Thursday, Mar. 3, 2000. He was born in Washington County, the son of the late Floyd Wright and Mary Josey Smith. He was retired from Lapp Insulator after 27 years of service. He was a member of Kendall Heights Church of God.

Survivors include his children, Wilma Smith, Wayne Johnson and John W. Smith, all of Sandersville, and Wanda Mathis of Tennille; brothers and sisters, Floyd W. Smith Jr. of Aiken S.C., James A. Smith and Louise S. Bridges, both of Sandersville, William Smith of Davisboro, Annie M. Smith of Augusta, Nellie Ruth Manley of Doraville, Martha Jean Stubbs of Panama City, Fla., Lois S. Johnson of Mitchell, Sallie S. Bragg of Rincon and Rosa S. Smith of Langley, S.C.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Lang's Chapel and may be contacted at the residence of Wilma Smith on CB Club Road. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 632, Sandersville 31082.

Emily Tingle
FORSYTH - Services for Emily Fort Tingle will be at 3 p.m. today in Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe County Memorial Gardens. Tingle, 86, died Friday, Mar. 3, 2000. She was born in Monroe County. The widow of M.L. Tingle, she was the retired owner-operator of Tingle's Grocery. She was a member of Mid Way Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Gladys Williams of Forsyth; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Betty Wagner
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Betty Wagner will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Christopher-Smith Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Wagner, 78, died Friday, March 3, 2000. She was born in Wichita, Kan., the daughter of the late George and Jean Wilson. She had lived in Warner Robins for the past 22 years and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include her children, Ronald Wagner of Warner Robins, Donald Wagner of Virginia Beach, Va., John Wagner of Kennesaw, and Thomas Wagner of Thomasville; a sister, Lucille Wiegrefe of South Carolina; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. The family will receive friends after. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Boy Scouts of America Troop 550, c/o Christ United Methodist Church, 511 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins 31088, or Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 5052, Warner Robins 31099.

George Albritton
GRAY - Services for George Thomas Albritton will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Bridges Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Ridge Cemetery. Albritton, 69, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, at his residence. Son of the late Walter W. and Cora Harris Albritton, he was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a roofing superintendent, retired from work for the Houston County Board of Education. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara C. Albritton; children Karen A. Skandera and Glenn T. Albritton, both of Gray; sister and brother, Jewel A. Whidden of Collegedale, Tenn., and Wallace Albritton of Arnold, Mo.; three grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and a great-stepgrandchild.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence on Ga. 18 West, Jones County. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vista Hospice Care Foundation, 750 Baconsfield Drive, Suite 115, Macon 31211.

Nancy Baker
VIDALIA - Services for Nancy Baker will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Jones-Stewart Funeral Home, Lyons, with burial in Soperton City Cemetery. Baker, 91, died Friday, June 9, 2000, after a long illness. Born in Treutlen County, she lived in Lyons most of her life. She was a charter member of New Corinth Baptist Church in Alston.

Survivors include her sister, Mozelle Cartrette of Hinesville.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
