Edward G. Matuszak of Cary
Funeral services and interment for Edward G. Matuszak, 82, will be private.
Born May 9, 1916, in Cary, he died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
Mr. Matuszak was a retired vice president for RTC Industries in Chicago. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post 159 and the C. I. C. (intelligence gathering).
He is survived by his wife, Harriet S. (nee Lewand); children, Gregory Matuszak of Georgia, Ursula (Michael) Przybycien of Hickory Hills and Cynthia (Jerome) Qualkenbush of Cary; brothers, Casmier Matuszak of Wautoma, Wis., Stanley Matuszak of Tucson, Ariz.
and John Matuszak of Chicago; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Windridge Funeral Home, Ltd., 104 High Road, Cary.

Kevin P. McGrath of Mundelein
Funeral services for Kevin P. McGrath, 51, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville.
Born March 30, 1947, in Chicago, he passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at the Pebblebrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Bluff.
Mr. McGrath was a former heavy equipment operator by trade, and had lived in Mundelein for most of his life.
Surviving are his daughter, Jennifer McGrath of Rochester Hills, Mich.; former wife, Sharon McGrath of Columbia, S. C.; brothers, Michael (Dale) McGrath and Brian (Debra) McGrath, both of Mundelein, Shawn McGrath of Pittsburgh, Pa. and John (Kathleen) McGrath of Midland, Texas; and sisters, Kathleen (Jeff) Newman of St. Bonifacius, Minn., Noreen McGrath of Hollywood, Florida, Mary Tyszcko of Rockwell, Texas and Colleen (Shawn) Roedel of White Right, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elvira McGrath.
Friends of the family may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of services on Sunday.

Earl McLennan of Arlington Heights
Memorial services for Earl McLennan, 82, formerly of Park Ridge, will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 E. Algonquin Road, South Barrington.
Born May 26, 1917, in Chicago, he died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at Lutheran General Health Center at The Moorings in Arlington Heights. Interment will be in Town of Maine Cemetery, Park Ridge.
Mr. McLennan was a former partner in McLennan Realty of Park Ridge.
He was the beloved husband of Mary McLennan (nee Forkal); loving father of Richard (the late Carol) McLennan Jr. of California, Bruce (Sharon) McLennan of Ohio, Sandra (Daniel) Branda of Glen Ellyn and Laurie (Scott) Pederson of Hoffman Estates; proud grandfather of Mindy De Costa, Michael McLennan, Richard McLennan III, Dale Branda, Becky Obendorf, Kelley Seafield, Jeff McLennan and Heather McLennan; and great-grandfather of six. He was also the dear brother of John E. `Ed' McLennan, Betty Frost, and the late William Stanley McLennan, Robert G. McLennan and Phyllis Sandberg.
Memorials may be made to the Earl McLennan Scholarship Fund-Moody Bible Institute.

Mary M. Meehan of Naperville
Prayers for Mary M. Meehan, 83, will be said at 9 a.m. Monday, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. Van Buren, Naperville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 26 N. Ellsworth, Naperville.
Born Nov. 7, 1915, in Chicago, Mrs. Meehan died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Meehan was a homemaker and hadbeen a resident of Naperville for 15 years, a longtime resident of the Martin Avenue Apartments.
Survivors include her daughters, Sally (Charles) Horvath of Lisle and Mary (Tim) Schye of Naperville; and grandchildren, Brian (Kim) Horvath of Chicago, Kerry Horvath (fiancee Brad) of Bolingbrook, and Sara, Ryan, Kyle and Christopher Schye, all ofNaperville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1973; and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Kenneth R. Middleton of Bartlett
A memorial service will be held for Kenneth R. Middleton, 48, at 7 p.m. Monday, at the Streamwood VFW Hall, 341 S. Bartlett Road. Visitation with the family will be from 6 p.m. until the time of service.
Interment will be private.
Born in Chicago, May 28, 1950, he died Friday, Feb. 5, 1999, at home, following a long illness. Formerly a resident of Roselle, he had lived in Bartlett for the past two years. Mr. Middleton was a veteran of the Vietname War, having served in the U. S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa; sons, Richard and Robert; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Middleton children's trust fund would be appreciated.

George Savitzky of Round Lake Park
Services for George Savitzky, 81, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Most Holy Mother of God Church in Third Lake.
Born Sept. 24, 1917, in Sevastopol, Russia, he passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at the Libertyville Manor. Interment will be in the church Cemetery, following the services.
Mr. Savitzky had moved to Yugoslavia in 1919 and was a military officer in the Yugoslavian Army during World War II.
At one point held as a prisoner of war, he later served as a foreign officer for the U. S. Army under General Patton. In 1949 he moved to Brazil where he lived until coming to Chicago in 1958. He was a Round Lake Park resident for the past four years. Mr. Savitzky was a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church in Chicago and theHoly Trinity Russian Orthodox Church in Des Plaines.
Surviving are his wife, Tatjana Savitzky of Round Lake Park and son, George D. (Ana) Savitzky of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nadine Savitzky, March 11, 1993; brother, Rostislav; and sister, Elena.

Clara H. Tamms of Hampshire
Services for Clara H. Tamms, 86, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampshire with the Rev. James Hughes officiating.
Born April 25, 1912, in Burlington, to Robert and Bertha (nee Raddatz) Struck, she died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Doty Cemetery, Hampshire Township.
Clara was a 1930 graduate of Hampshire High School and married Gerhard E. Tamms on April 28, 1936, in Hampshire. They farmed in Hampshire Township all their married life.
Mrs. Tamms was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampshire, the Ladies Aid Society, the Women's Missionary League and the 3H Card Club.
Surviving are her daughter, Joyce (Mark) Harmon of Chicago; sons, Richard (Barbara) Tamms and William (Deanne) Tamms, both of Hampshire; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Robert (Bertha) Struck of Hampshire.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerhard, Nov. 27, 1987; brothers, Harold and Elmer Struck; and sister, Dorothy Stevens.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, at Fredrick Funeral Home, 284 Park, Hampshire, and prior to services Monday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Bethesda Lutheran Home and Services IMC, 700 Hoffmann Drive, Watertown, WI 53094-9989.

Victoria M. Tarczynski (nee Misiewicz), 85, died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999. Arrangements were made by Countryside Funeral Home, (630) 289-7575.

George V. Tiffany of Libertyville
Services for George V. Tiffany, 82, will be held at 3:30 p.m. today, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave., Libertyville. Rev. Ronald H. Folger will officiate.
Born April 24, 1916, in Waukegan, he died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Condell Medical Center. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Lake County, he was from a law enforcement family. His father, Frank, was a former Lake Forest Police chief and his late uncle, Lester Tiffany, a Lake County sheriff. George served as a policeofficer for 32 years, retiring from the Lake County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville and also several law enforcement organizations.
Survivors include his son, G. Thomas Tiffany of Gurnee; daughter-in-law, Maila Tiffany of Republic, Mich.; grandchildren, Michael (Dawn) Tiffany of Libertyville, James (Lynn) Tiffany of Round Lake and Linda (Mike) Clark of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Michael Thomas Tiffany II, Amanda Michelle Tiffany, Mallorie Allayne Tiffany, Chelsey Lynn Tiffany, Ryan Patrick Clark and Allison Marie Clark; sisters, Helen Crenshaw of Winter Haven, Fla. and Bernice Tonyan of North Chicago; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Fern Tiffany; and wife, Blanche M. Tiffany on March 26, 1998.
Friends of the family may call one hour prior to the services today, at the funeral home.

Frances C. Trowbridge of Addison
Memorial services for Frances C. Trowbridge (nee Bauer), 90, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at St. John the Baptist Church in Winfield.
Interment with her family will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wilmette.
Ms. Trowbridge is now resting in God's loving hands.
She was the devoted mother ofPat (Jack) Lamphere, John E. (Diane), Robert H. (Cathy), Edward (Susann) and Mary (John) Greene; beloved grandmother of 13; great-grandmother of 16; and great-great-grandmother of one.

Agnes Zaininger of Naperville
Prayers for Agnes Zaininger, 95, will be said at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. Van Buren, Naperville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 25 N. Ellsworth, Naperville.
Born Sept. 12, 1903, in Aurora, she died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at Edward Hospital. Interment will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
Mrs. Zaininger had been a lifelong resident of Naperville. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling and bingo.
Survivors include her son, Wayne (Suzanna) of Naperville; son-in-law, Keith Brown of Naperville; six granddaughters; 13 grandsons; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lena (nee Hennen) Sproule; husband, John J. Zaininger; son, Donald J.; daughters, Lois Harshbarger and Ruth Brown; and brothers, Walter and Charles Sproule.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
