HOOPESTON – Betty L. Nolin, 76, of Hoopeston died at 5:23 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 29, 1999) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton-Orr Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St., Hoopeston. The Rev. Danny A. Lybarger will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Hill cemetery, Hoopeston.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Bishop Edward O'Rourke
PEORIA – Most Reverend Edward William O'Rourke, 81, retired bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Peoria, died at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 29, 1999) at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Funeral Mass will be at noon on Tuesday at Saint Mary's Cathedral, 607 NE Madison St., Peoria. Bishop John J. Myers, Diocese of Peoria, will be the main celebrant. His Eminence, Francis Cardinal George, archdiocese of Chicago; visiting bishops; and priests of the Peoria Diocese will concelebrate.
Public visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. and from 8 to 10 p.m. Monday at the cathedral, followed by an evening prayer service, lead by Bishop Myers.
A visitation will also be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the cathedral.

CHAMPAIGN – Funeral services for Ralph Dean Pumphrey, 67, of Champaign will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St., C. The Rev. Morris Christman will officiate.
Burial will be in East Lawn cemetery, Urbana.
