Nicolette A. Schilling of Wauconda
A funeral Mass for Nicolette A. Schilling (nee Sienkiewicz), 48, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Eugene Church, Chicago.
Born April 22, 1950, in Chicago, she died Monday, March 1, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. Interment will be private.
A law enforcement officer, she was the mother of Jennifer Schilling of River Grove; sister of Edward and Michael Sienkiewicz; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Kolbus Funeral Home, 6841-57 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago.

George C. Schuettner of Mount Prospect
A memorial service for George C. Schuettner, 65, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, at Grace Lutheran Church, 1624 East Euclid, Mount Prospect. Interment will be private.
He was the beloved husband of Erika A. (nee Nitsch); devoted father of Michelle (Charles), Andrea (Garry) and Sandra (Chris); dear grandfather of Zachary and Garrett; loving son of Frieda and the late George; and fond brother of Gerry (Gary).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for Research, (800) 227-2345.
Arrangements were made by Cremation Society of Illinois, Mount Prospect.

Marie E. Soby of Algonquin
Services for Marie E. Soby, 72, formerly of Barrington, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary. Rev. Fred Berchtold will officiate.
Born Oct. 30, 1926, in Chicago, the daughter of Christ and Elsie Christiansen, she died Monday, March 1, 1999, at home. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Fox River Grove.
She retired from Kemper Insurance Company in Lake Zurich, and was a member of the Kemper Women's Club.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew Soby; children, Ann Soby of Algonquin, Helen Keilman of Fox River Grove and Dave Soby of Fox River Grove; grandchildren, Carolyn (Bruce) Krich and Michelle Keilman; sister, Eleanor Engelhardt of Harvard; brother, George (Penny) Christiansen of Huntley; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Henry C. Strand, 83, of Wheaton, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999. Arrangements were made by Hultgren Funeral Home, Wheaton, (630) 668-0027.

Walter L. Tesluk of Park City
Memorial services for Walter L. Tesluk, 78, will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, at Strang Funeral Home & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake.
Born Jan. 27, 1921, in Winnipeg, Canada, he passed away Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at Hines Veterans Administration Hospital in Hines, Ill. Interment will be private.
Mr. Tesluk had been a resident of Park City since 1984 and was previously of Wildwood. He retired in 1982, having spent his entire career working as a carpenter. He was formerly a member of the Gagewood Lions Club for more than 25 years and was also past president of the Wildwood Improvement Association.
A veteran, he had served in the Army during World War II in the European Theater.
Survivors include his wife, Alyce Tesluk (nee Manos), whom he married April 19, 1947, in Chicago; children, Kim (David) Newton of Lake Villa, Diane (Bruce) Nauer of Lindenhurst, and Nick (Barb) Tesluk of Albuquerque, N. M.; and grandchildren, Jenilyn and Jill Nauer, andErik and Kristen Tesluk.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gene, in 1997.
Friends of the family may visit from 6 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Veterans Administration Hospital, 3001 Green Bay Road, North Chicago, IL 60064.

Roy Wynn of Elgin
A memorial service for Roy Wynn, 66, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church. Rev. Steven Schrock will officiate.
Born Oct. 20, 1932, in Ludlow, Ky., the son of James and Margaret Wynn, he died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, at Maplewood Care Nursing Home after an extended illness of 20 years. Private interment was held by the family.
Mr. Wynn was a veteran of the Air Force serving in Korea. He was retired from Illinois Tool Works, Shakeproof Division after 21 years of service. He was a Pee Wee football coachfrom 1966 to 1978.
Survivors include his friend, Mardell; sons, David (Noreen) Wynn of Glendale, Wis., Robert (Carol) Wynn of Hampshire, Richard (Linda) Wynn of Bartlett and Brian (Jenny) Wynn of Bakersfield, Calif.; brothers, Clifford (Darlene) Wynn and William (Beverly) Wynn, both of Ludlow, Ky.; several nieces and nephews in Kentucky; and grandchildren, Sarah, Emily and Benjamin of Glendale, Lyndsie and Logan of Bakersfield, and Kenneth Roy of Elgin.
Memorials may be made to Christ the Lord Lutheran Church, 12N462 Tina Trail, Elgin, IL 60123 or the Albert J. Simon Cardiac Care Unit, 934 Center St., Elgin, IL 60120.

Rene H. Yerke of Deerfield
A memorial service for Rene H. Yerke, 78, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, corner of Deerfield and Wilmot Rds., Deerfield. Interment will be private.
Mr. Yerke served with the Second Armored Division in World War II. After the war he worked for Underwriters Laboratories where he worked as an electrical engineer for 35 years until retirement. Since retiring, he has been active in the Deerfield Seniors. Mr. Yerke was also a member of St. Gregory's Episcopal Church.
He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret; loving father of Madeleine (Vincent) Palmieri and Renee (Wayne) Rathbun; and dear grandfather of Michael and Matthew Palmieri, and Scott and Kristen Rathbun.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, at Kelley and Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park.
Memorials may be made in Rene's name to the American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle St., Suite 900, Chicago, IL 60604-1197 or St. Gregory's Episcopal Church.

Louis Thomas Ziska of Arlington Heights
Services for Louis Thomas Ziska, 87, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. John United Church of Christ, 308 N. Evergreen St., Arlington Heights. He will lie in state from 9a.m. until the time of services.
Born June 10, 1911, in Chicago, he passed away Monday, March 1, 1999, at ManorCare Health Center in Rolling Meadows, surrounded by his loving family. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
Mr. Ziska attended the University of Chicago, graduating in 1932 with a degree in philosophy and was a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity. During his career, he was a purchasing agent for Diamond T, an assistant administrator at MacNeal Memorial Hospital in Berwyn and administrator at the Bohemian Home for the Aged in Chicago.
Mr. Ziska was a longtime resident of Berwyn, and a member of the First Congregational Church of Berwyn, where he held many leadership positions. After they moved to Arlington Heights, he attended St. John United Church of Christ.
He was the husband of Lorraine Ziska, whom he married on July 28, 1934; children, Thomas (Murrien) of Germantown, Wis., Marjorie (Joseph) Venturella of Radisson, Wis. and Susan (Frank) Kaiser of Arlington Heights; grandchildren, Kristin (Jon) Snell and Vicki (Allen) Biks of Radisson, Kenneth (Laura) Kaiser of Arlington Heights, Joseph (Diane) Venturella of Keller, Texas, Dawn (Tony) Lynn of Walworth, Wis., Adam Ziska of Cicero, and Brad and Jenna Priztlaff of Germantown; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows.

Alberta Zuchowski of Grayslake
Funeral services and entombment for Alberta Zuchowski (nee LaPointe), 81, will be private.
Born Dec. 1, 1917, in Chicago, she passed away Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Round Lake Beach.
Mrs. Zuchowski was a longtime resident of Grayslake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Zuchowski.
Arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., Grayslake.

Ann Anderson of Rolling Meadows
Graveside services for Ann Anderson, 94, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Ridgewood Cemetery, 9900 Milwaukee Ave., Des Plaines.
Born March 12, 1904, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.
She is survived by her sons, Laurence Jr. and Donald Anderson and her granddaughter, Kristin Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence Anderson Sr.
Arrangements were made by Meadows Funeral Home, Rolling Meadows.

Hazel B. Anderson lifelong resident of Elgin
Graveside services for Hazel B. Anderson, 94, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin. Dr. Thomas Potenza will officiate.
Born May 15, 1904, in Elgin, the daughter of Stephen and Blondine Berthoud Noiret, she died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at Sherman Hospital.
Mrs. Anderson graduated from Elgin High School in 1922 and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her brother, Winston Noiret of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl T. `Chick' Anderson in 1972; sister, Jeannette Chapman; and nephew, Thomas Mallon.
There will not be a visitation.
Arrangements were made by Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
