Donn B. Springer of Vernon Hills
Memorial services for Donn B. Springer, 47, will be held at 1 p. m.
Monday, at A. K. Barnett Funeral Home, 29 E. Route 45, Vernon Hills.
Born Sept. 22, 1951, he died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at home. Burial will be private.
Mr. Springer was employed by Dental Arts Laboratory of Lincolnshire.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher, Joshua and Ryan, and daughter, Sarah, all of Vernon Hills; brother, Charles(Tracy) Sullivan of Altadena, Calif.; sister, Judy (Jerry) Rentner of Third Lake, Ill.; fiancee, Karen Hayden of Vernon Hills; and future stepdaughter, Dawn Taylor of Vernon Hills.

Mabel Talsma of Gurnee
Services for Mabel Talsma, 81, of Gurnee for the past seven years and formerly of Chicago, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at Salata Gurnee Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee.
Born March 22, 1917, in Henry, Ill., she passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at Provena St. Therese Medical Center, Waukegan. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth, Ill., following the services.
Survivors include her children, Ron (Michelle) Talsma of Yorkville, Ill., Theresa (Edward) Fugelseth of Gurnee, William Talsma of Chicago and Nancy (Jesse) Aseves of Romeoville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Edith M. Mavity of Princeton, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruth Vincenzo.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p. m. today, at the funeral home.

Anthony S. Tangorra of Lake Bluff
A funeral Mass for Anthony S. Tangorra, 80, will be held at 10 a. m. Tuesday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville.
Born March 24, 1918, in Chicago, he died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Entombment will be in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
Retired from Deerpath School in Lake Forest, he was a member of Mundelein American Legion and served in the Army during World War II.
He was the husband of 53 years of Angela; father of Michael (Debbie) Tangorra of Libertyville; brother of Nick (Lucy) Tangorra of Mundelein; and grandfather of Mike, Philip and Launa.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p. m. Monday, at McMurrough Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.

Ruth C. White of St. Charles
Services for Ruth C. White, 84, will be held at 3:30 p. m. Tuesday, at the Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third St., St. Charles. Rev. Loy Williams will officiate.
Born Feb. 16, 1914, in Niantic, Ill., the daughter of Earl and Nancy (nee Burke) Cross, she died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at Pineview Care Center in St. Charles.
Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, Decatur, Ill.
She was a member of the Fox Valley Presbyterian Church in Geneva.
Mrs. White is survived by her son, Gerald (Sue) White of St. Charles; daughter, Sharon (Glenn) Newman of Barrington; grandchildren, Christopher White, Melissa (Jim) Wallace and Jeff (Kathy) Newman; great-grandchildren, Scott and Stephen Newman and Zachary and Nicholas Wallace; sister, Leona Bradford of Taylorville, Ill.; and niece, Joyce (Wayne) Langun of Morrisonville, Ill.
Visitation will be from 1 p. m. until the time of services Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Ryan Cole Younger of Naperville
A memorial service for Ryan Cole Younger, 19 days, will be held at 3 p. m. Tuesday, at Wheaton-Salem United Mehtodist Church, 1852 95th St., Naperville.
Born Dec. 12, 1998, at Rush-Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora, he died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Interment will be private.
He was a beautiful, perfectly formed little boy, filled with a feisty zest for live. He fought gallantly to survive. He died as a result of pulmonary hypertension caused by a congenital diaphragmatic hernia. His spirit and determination to live and capacity to love touched all who had the opportunity to meet him. May hismemory always remain lovingly alive within us.
Survivors include his parents, Douglas and Sandra Younger of Naperville; sister, Bailey; paternal grandparents, Luther and Doris Younger of Claremore, Okla.; and maternal grandfather, Allan Rohlfs of Twin Lakes, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jo Rohlfs; and aunt, Kristin Leimer.

George H. Armitage III, 50, of Mossville, Ill., formerly of Elgin, died Thursday, Dec. 31. Arrangements were made by Laird Funeral Home, Elgin, (847) 741-8800.

Steven Banczak of Palatine
Prayers for Steven Banczak, 46, will be said at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday, at Smith-Cocoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Mass will follow at 10 a. m. at St. Theresa Church.
Born June 28, 1952, in Belgium, he died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at Northwest Community Hospital. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietname War.
Survivors include his brother, Edward (Christina) Banczak; sister, Irene (Steven) Schumaker; and father, Michael (late Zofia). He was the uncle of Mike and John Schumaker and Dan, John and Diana Banczak, and great-uncle of Sophia Schumaker.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today at the funeral home.

August H. Boehm Sr. of Palatine
Services for August H. Boehm Sr., 89, will be held at 10 a. m. Tuesday, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.
Born Aug. 16, 1909, in Chicago, he died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at Valley Health Care Center, Hayward, Wis. Burial will be in Palatine-Hillside Cemetery, Palatine.
Serving in a managerial position, he retired from National Tea Stores after 49 years. He was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church of Palatine, and a member of Palatine Elks Club and Elks and Moose Lodge of Mountain Home, Ark.
Survivors include his sons, August H. (Helen) Boehm Jr. of Clam Lake, Wis. and Bruce M. (Mary) Boehm ofRock Island; grandchildren, Michael, Lori, Tammy, Brian and Heather; four greatgrandchildren; sister, Dolly Latzel of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Mae Boehm (nee Becker).
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. today, at the funeral home.

LeRoy J. `Tut' Bollweg of Warrenville
Mass for LeRoy J. `Tut' Bollweg, 80, will be celebrated at 10 a. m. Tuesday, at St. Irene Catholic Church, Warrenville.
Born Dec. 31, 1918, in Wheaton, he died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Mr. Bollweg proudly served his country in World War II and was a charter member of VFW Post 8081, and served on the Warrenville Fire Department.
The family business, J. H. Bollweg and Sons, was founded in 1926. With his father, brother, and their sons, he developed the plumbing, heating and electrical business where he worked until his death.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Irene (nee Youngen); eight children, John (Sandy) Bollweg of Batavia, Janet (Richard) Collins of Wheaton, Daniel (Vickie) Bollweg of Warrenville, Jeffrey (Pam) Bollweg of Warrenville, Joyce (Mark) Beutke of West Chicago, Michael (Sherri) Bollweg of Yorkville, Patricia (Daniel) Sorenson of Wheaton and Mary Lou (Wayne) Sharp of Batavia; 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Harold (Martha) Bollweg; and sisters, Florence Stafford, Anne Katich and Mary (Robert) Farmer.
He was preceded in death by his father, John H. Bollweg; mother, Lena (nee Kinley) Bollweg; brother, Adrian `Buck' Bollweg; sisters, Helen Bollweg, Margaret Bollweg, Dorothy (nee Bollweg) Kramer and Irene (nee Bollweg) Mueller; and grandson, Michael J. Bollweg.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. today, at the church.

Mary Gahagan Burgess of Geneva
Funeral Mass for Mary Gahagan Burgess, 95, will be celebrated at 11 a. m. Wednesday, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva, where she will lie in state from 10:30 a. m. until the time of Mass. Father Anthony Pantyra will officiate.
Born Oct. 14, 1903, in LaValle, Wis., the daughter of John and Anna Gahagan, she died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at her home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Geneva.
Mrs. Burgess had been a registered nurse and a Red Cross volunteer for many years. She was also a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Geneva.
She is survived by her son, Jack (Christl) Burgess of Geneva; grandchildren, Tom (Lindsey) Burgess of Geneva and Mitzi (Steven) Weiss of Wheaton; and great-grandsons, Max and Jake Weiss and Bradley Burgess.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, F. E. Burgess; and three brothers, Owen, Donn and Aaron Gahagen.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p. m. Tuesday, at Yurs Wittenberg Funeral Home, 1771 W. State St. (Route 38), Geneva.

Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
He was the beloved husband of Peg; devoted father of Mark (Janell) Chandler II; loving son of the late Asa and Caroline Chandler; loving son-in-law of Geraldine Adams; dear brother of Diane Mary (Paul) Keper, Kenneth J. (Kimberly) Chandler and thelate Donald J.; fond grandfather of Micaela Carol Chandler; and dear uncle of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and greatnephews.
