Marie C. Kelly of Fox River Grove
Prayers for Marie C. Kelly (nee Petrey), 82, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Michael's Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass at St. Walter Church in Roselle.
Born March 23, 1917, in Chicago, she died Monday, May 10, 1999, at her home.
Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Mrs. Kelly was formerly employed by Illinois Bell Telephone Company and Marshall Field's.
She was the wife of Joseph; mother of Mary Ellen (Fredrick) Figas, Nancy Kelly and Joanne Patryn; sister of Rita (the late William Sr. )Dickey, Thomas Petrey and Dorothy (John) Kennedy; grandmother of Matthew, Caren, Samantha and Heather; and cousin of Muriel (Bart) Flynn and the late Jim Hewitt.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Audrey G. Lawson of Barrington
Memorial services for Audrey G. Lawson (nee Hersha), 71, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Windridge Memorial Park, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary.
Fr. James Hurlbert of St. Anne Catholic Church in Barrington, will officiate.
Born Aug. 5, 1928, in Jackson, Mich., she died Tuesday, May 11, 1999, ather home. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Mrs. Lawson had worked as a sales manager for Weekender Casual Wear in Lincolnshire for five years and previously had been a sales representative for Mary Kay Cosmetics for five years.
She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald J. Lawson; loving mother of John S. (Jolene) Landfair of Hutchinson, Minn., Terry (Wayne) Gaylord of Ellicott City, Md., Kim (J. )DuBiago of Barrington and Laura (Mark) Anders of West Dundee; dear sister of Al Hersha, Gertrude Tittler, Patricia Phillips, Winifred (Wayne) Hubbard and Sally Sprehe, all of Michigan; cherished grandmother of six and great-grandmother of one.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Friday, at the cemetery chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's/Shy-Drager Autonomic Dysfunction Center, Vanderbilt Medical Center, Room AA-3228 Medical Center North, Nashville, TN 37232-2195.

Walter M. Lazarski of Mount Prospect
Services for Walter M. Lazarski, 84, will begin with prayers at 9:45 a.m. Monday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine, and continue with Mass at 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 432 W. Park St., Arlington Heights.
Born June 18, 1914, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, May 11, 1999, at The Abington of Glenview. Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Lazarski had worked as the chief electrician for the Admiral Corporation of Chicago and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 134.
Surviving are his children, Paul Lazarski of Tularosa, N. M., Kathleen Lazarski of Streamwood, Margaret Lazarski of Golden, Colo., Susan (Marty) Koerber of Crystal Lake and James Lazarski of Schaumburg; and grandchildren, Michael and Ann Marie Lazarski, and Heather andAaron Koerber.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Antoinette H. Lazarski; two brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Rainbow Hospice, 1550 N. Northwest Highway, Suite 220, Park Ridge, IL 60068, or to the American Lung Association, would be appreciated.

Kermit Lewis of Hoffman Estates
Memorial services for Kermit Lewis, 89, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at The Benchmark, 1515 N. Barrington Rd., Hoffman Estates.
Born Feb. 19, 1910, in Pittsburg, Kan., he died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. Burial will be private.
A retired sound engineer, he was a member of IBEW Local 134 in Chicago, and past member of the Royal Order of the Moose Lodge 604 in Des Plaines.
He was the husband of the late Florence (nee Medal), she passed away in November 1997; father of Kathie (Vernon) Gonion of Elk Grove Village and Barbara Ann (Sierra) Lewis; and grandfather of three.
Arrangements were made by Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, Arlington Heights.

McKinley Lewis Jr. of Elgin since 1962
Funeral services for McKinley Lewis Jr., 79, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin, with the Rev. Paul Rouse officiating.
Born July 28, 1919, in Madisonville, Ky., the son of McKinley and Effie Blackwell Lewis, he died Saturday, May 8, 1999, at Asta Care Center, Elgin.
Mr. Lewis was an employee of the Shakeproof division of Illinois Tool Works for 25 years before retiring. He attended Progressive Baptist Church of Elgin and a former member of Martin Luther King Elks Lodge of Elgin. A World War II veteran, Mr. Lewis had served in the Army.
He is survived by two sons, Larry Lewisof Elgin and Jeffrey Lewis of Elgin; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Flowers of Columbus, Ohio; three brothers, Willis (Bettye) Lewis of Elgin, Clyde Lewis of South Bend, Ind. and Bishop Charles (Julita) Lewis of Hanover Park; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie, in 1989; a grandson, Jeffrey Scott Lewis; and a sister, Vivian Williams.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services Friday, at the funeral home.

Manuel C. Montemayor of Streamwood
Services for Manuel C. Montemayor, 75, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. John the Evangelist Church.
Born May 5, 1924, in San Benito, Texas, he died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Elgin.
Mr. Montemayor hadworked as a bus driver for PACE.
He was the beloved husband of the late Melba Montemayor (nee Keller); loving father of Johnny (Amanda), Edward (Ellen), Roy (Debbie), Manny (Laura), David (Lisa), Dore, Mary Helen, Clara (Richard) Maddox, Belinda (Ted) Adams and the late Mary Elizabeth Jane; proud grandfather of 32; and great-grandfather of two.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Martin-Bartwood Funeral Home, P. C., 600 W. Lake St., Bartlett.

Margaretha L. Neu of Vernon Hills
Holly Neu (Thomas) Budwick and Willard H. (Susan) Neu Jr. have lost their beloved aunt, stepmother, best friend and confidant on Sunday, May 9, 1999. She was born Aug. 27, 1914, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
For all of her business life, she was a home economics teacher at the same high school in Pittsburgh. She was a world traveler, and had tea with the Queen of England while there on a teacher exchange program.
Her husband, Willard H. Neu; sister, Jeanne Lang (Charles) Schlicht; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, survive her.
Memorial services will be private at Kristan Funeral Home, P. C., Mundelein.
Per her request, she will be cremated and her cremains will be joining those of another sister and our mother, Audrey Lang Neu, in the Gulf of Mexico, off the coast of Florida. . .
We're going to miss you, Nanny. . .

Shirley E. Norak of Arlington Heights
Services for Shirley E. Norak, 79, formerly of Mount Prospect for 31 years, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Arlington Heights. She will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.
Born Feb. 6, 1920, in Chicago, she died Monday, May 10, 1999, in Arlington Heights. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
A homemaker, she was a member of Hannah's Circle at St. Peter's and St. Peter's Seniors.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Richard, they celebrated their anniversary on May 5, 1999; daughters, Jean (Fred) Riley and Jane (John) Popp; grandchildren, Fred (Kimberly) and Christine Riley, and Janelle and Jason Popp; great-grandchild, Maranda Riley.
Visitation will be from 3 to8 p.m. today, at the Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Arlington Heights; or The Lutheran Home.
Arrangements were made by G. L. Hills Funeral Home, Des Plaines.

Grace Peccatiello of Medinah
Services for Grace Peccatiello (nee Grillo), 78, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Walter Church.
Born Nov. 20, 1920, in Chicago, she died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at Glen Oaks Hospital. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum.
A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Daniel; mother of Kenneth (Susan) and Jeffrey; and grandmother of Robert and Catherine.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Martin Funeral Home, Ltd., 333 S. Roselle Road, Roselle.

Miriam B. Plumhoff of Palatine
Funeral services for Miriam B. Plumhoff, 86, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 17, at St. Theresa Church, 445 N. Benton St., Palatine.
Born in 1913 in New London, Conn., she died Monday, May 10, 1999, at St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine, where visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 16.
She is survived by her children, Roland, Garry and Shelby Ratta; sister, Vida Logsdon of Palatine; and several nieces and great-nieces.
Arrangements were made by Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, Palatine.

Leona Proffitt of Elmhurst
Services for Leona Proffitt (nee Thiel) will begin at 9:30 a.m. today, at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Road (1/2 mile north of St. Charles Road), Elmhurst, and continue to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a 10 a. M. Mass of Christian burial. The Rev. Robert J. Duda will officiate.
Mrs. Proffitt died Tuesday, May 11, 1999. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside.
She was the wife of Herbert; dearest mother of Deborah (Orest) Banach, Mary (Stanley) Luszczyk, Robert (Patricia) and Laurie Proffitt; and beloved grandmother of Christian and Tania Banach, Anne Adam and Alicia Luszczyk, and Jillian, Michael and Erin Proffitt.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services Friday, at the funeral home.
Masses would be appreciated, although flowers are welcome.
