Patricia Ann Cass of Barrington
A memorial service for Patricia Ann Cass (nee Garber), 52, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at Lutheran Church of the Atonement, 909 E. Main St., Barrington. Reverend Pamela Challis will officiate.
Born Jan. 30, 1946, in Lancaster, Pa., she passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at home.
Mrs. Cass was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Atonement and was a secretary/administrative assistant for GATX in Chicago for the past three years. She enjoyed playing tennis, listening to music and reading. She was very devoted to her family.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Cass, whom she married Aug. 12, 1967 in Lancaster; sons, Charles McCaleb of Barrington and David Lau of Portland, Ore.; and sisters, Mary (Arthur) Scholz of Reading, Pa. and Joanne Garber of Ephrata, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010 or the American Cancer Society, 625 North Court, Suite 280, Palatine, IL 60067-8162.

Phyllis Catenacci of Des Plaines
Services for Phyllis Catenacci, 64, will be held at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Hwy.), Mount Prospect.
Born May 20, 1934, in Chicago, she died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, at Holy Family Hospital. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Catenacci had worked as a secretary at a law office.
She was the wife of the late LeRoy, and mother of Kenneth Catenacii, Deanna Catenacci and Sherilyn Molinari.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Monday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brentwood Baptist Church.

Florence Cook formerly of Wheaton
A memorial service for Florence S. Cook, 96, most recently a resident of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream and formerly a longtime resident of Wheaton, will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at College Church in Wheaton, located on the corner of Washington and Seminary Streets, Wheaton.
Born July 6, 1902, in Denver, Colo., she died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, at Johnson Healthcare Center. Interment will be private, in Wheaton Cemetery.
Mrs. Cook was a missionary with the Orinoco River Mission in Venezuela, South America for seven years. Later she was a stenographer at Wheaton College and also at Chicago Title and Trust Company. She was a memberof College Church for many years.
Surviving are her sons, Harold D. (Liz) and Gilbert (Nancy) Cook; grandchildren, Jim (Becky), Cathy, Ed and Bruce Cook, Ginny (Ted) Kundrat, Shirley (Roy) Bodett and Diane (Larry) Holder; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Sarah and Rachel Cook, Elissa, Laura and Justine Cook, Sarah and Nora Kundrat, and Erik and Lauren Bodett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Cook, in August 1975; brother, John Hosie; and sisters, Mary Williams and Agnes Linsel.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p. m. today, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.
Memorials may be directed to the College Church Missions Fund, 330 E. Union St., Wheaton, IL 60187.

Stanford O. Ege of Geneva
Memorial services for Stanford O. Ege, 88, of Geneva and Naples, Fla., will be held at 11 a. m. Monday, at Geneva United Methodist Church, 211 Hamilton St., Geneva. The Rev. Larry Hilkemannwill officiate.
Born April 16, 1910, in Duluth, Minn., to Gustav and Nicolena Ege, he died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999, at his home.
Mr. Ege was a retired investment analyst with Duff & Phelps in Chicago.
Surviving are his daughters, Kathryn Anathan of Wheaton and Elizabeth Wheaton of Greensboro, N. C.; son, Stuart (Shelley) Ege of Naples, Fla.; sisters, Grace Brennan of Duluth and Dorothy (Paul) Sanders of Winona, Minn.; and four granddaughters.
He was precededin death by his first wife, Alice, in 1981, and second wife, Barbara, in 1998.
There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice.

Ruth Ford formerly of West Chicago
Services for Ruth Ford (nee Hentges), 61, of Langley, Okla., will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 1044 Congress Drive (at Route 59), Bartlett.
Born April 27, 1937, she died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999. Burial will be in Bartlett Cemetery.
Mrs. Ford was formerly a member of the Hanover Township, `Sweet Adeline's.' Survivors include her husband, John B. Ford; children, Sandra (John) Robertson of West Chicago, Mary (Paul) Rupprecht of Bartlett, Lynda (Peter) Toms of Bolingbrook, John Ford of Oklahoma, Eric (Ann) of Bartlett and Teresa (Lee) Ellison of Oklahoma; siblings, Pat (Arnold) Siegel of Schaumburg and Ronald (Anna) Hentges of Florida; and grandchildren, Brian, Jennifer, Jessica, Steven, Amy, Andrea, Kerstin, Kaitlyn and Kianna.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Monday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road), Bartlett, and from 10:30 a. m. until the time of services Tuesday, at the church.

Grace F. Gates of Naperville
A memorial service for Grace F. Gates, 89, will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999, at the Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Gartner Rd., Naperville. Rev. Paul Whittle will officiate.
Born Dec. 7, 1909, she died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, at Manorcare Health Services in Naperville. Interment will be private.
A lifelong resident of Naperville, Mrs. Gates did clerical work for Koehler Manufacturing Company, the Favor Ruhl Company in Chicago and worked for 16 years at the Naperville National Bank. She had been a life member of the Grace United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir for more than 25 years. She was also a lifetime member of the Naperville Art League.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy MacLeod of San Antonio, Texas and Carol Szymanski of Des Plaines; sisters, Eunice Jacobsen of Seminole, Fla., and Roberta (Everett M. D. ) Schaeffer of Berea, Ky.; one grandson; five granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Minnie (nee Fey) Fry; husband, Sanford Gates in 1975; brothers, Arthur, Robert and Clinton Fry; and sons-in-law, Robert MacLeod and Richard Szymanski.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p. m. until the time of services Sunday, Jan. 17, at the church.

Catherine Marie Groskopf of formerly of St. Charles
Services for Catherine Marie Groskopf, 96, of Elgin, will be held at 4:30 p. m. today, at the Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third St., St. Charles.
Born June 30, 1902, in Chicago, the daughter of Charles and Catherine (nee Baker) Bihlmeier, she died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at Sherman West Court in Elgin.
A committal service will be held at noon Monday, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Alsip.
She worked for 20 years as an executive secretary with the Blue-M ElectricFederal Sign Corporation of Blue Island.
Catherine enjoyed her work and was an excellent typist and stenographer. With love and devotion, she gave up her job to care for her husband during his illness. She enjoyed her home, playing cards, bunco, dancing, shopping in the `Loop' and traveling with her family.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Kenneth (Cynthia) Groskopf of Elgin; and grandchildren, John (Amy) Groskopf and Julianne (Michael) Shortall both of St. Charles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover George Groskopf on Oct. 4, 1978; sisters, Elizabeth Telander and Charlotte Erickson; and brothers, Edward and William Wagner and Charles (Bud) Bihlmeier.
Visitation will be from 2 p. m. until the time of services today, at the funeral home.
Contributions in Mrs. Groskopf's memory may be made to the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010.

Robert W. Hampton of Grayslake
Funeral services for Robert W. Hampton, 67, will be held at 4 p. m. Wednesday, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights.
Born April 15, 1931, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, at St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan.
Mr. Hampton was a partner with Witt Associates in Oak Brook, retiring in 1986. He graduated from the University of Indiana in 1955 with a bachelor's degree. He was a member of the Glenridge and Northbrook Gun Club and the Glenview Masonic Lodge #1058 AF & AM.
Survivors include his wife, Sandie; daughter, Karen (Thor) Madsen of Palatine; grandchildren, Christine and Kate; and brother, Jack (Negia) Hampton of Lansing.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Josephine Kocian of Wildwood
Private funeral services will be held for Josephine Kocian, 89.
Born March 10, 1909, in Chicago, she passed away Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, at her home.
A longtime resident of Lake County, Miss Kocian is survived by her niece, Alberta Stanley of Wildwood.
Arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., Grayslake.

Annette J. `Bunny' Krass of Medinah
Services for Annette J. `Bunny' Krass (nee Poteracki), 60, will be held at 11 a. m. Wednesday, at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Road, Itasca.
Born May 20, 1938, in Chicago, she died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, at Lexington Health Care. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Krass was employed as a clerk at Wal-Mart.
Surviving are her sons, David and Michael Krass; daughters, Debra (Willard) Skou, Nanette (Joseph) Furlong and Pamela Jo (John) Summers; grandchildren, Joseph, Domonique, Mathew, Liliann, Maxwell and Juliet; father, Roman Poteracki; and brother, Kenneth (Linda) Poteracki.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
