Jack Stoll

NEW HAVEN - Jack N. Stoll, 74, of Westfield Center, Ohio, formerly of New Haven, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at University Hospital in Cleveland.

He retired from the construction business.

Surviving are his wife, Mabel; and a sister, Ida Mae Stoll.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cox & Son Funeral Home New Haven Chapel, with burial in Union Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Gladys Williams

CARMI - Gladys P. (Young) Williams, 96, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi.

Surviving are three daughters, Linda Williams, Jerry Patterson and Robyle Foster; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Charlotte Hawf

FRIENDSVILLE - Charlotte (Liddle) Hawf, 82, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at her home.

Surviving are her husband, Burrel "Pete"; two sons, Larry and James Hawf; two brothers, Leon and Warren Liddle; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Short Funeral Home in Mount Carmel, with burial in Friendsville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Lincoln Trail Hospice.

Ruby Maus

OBLONG - Ruby C. (Wilkin) Maus, 90, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson.

She was a beautician in Oblong for many years.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda Cravens; two sons, Jerry and Terry Maus; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pulliam Funeral Home Oblong Chapel, with burial in Prairie Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oblong Christian Food Pantry or Oblong Lake Fund.

Clara "Sally" Monschau

CARMI - Clara Leata "Sally" (Boyd) Monschau, 75, of Muskogee, Okla., formerly of Carmi, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, in Oklahoma.

Surviving are two brothers, Martin and Clarence Boyd.

Services will be private, with burial in Kuykendall Cemetery.

Kittinger-Fair Funeral Home in Carmi is handling arrangements.

Norman Brown

MOUNT CARMEL - Norman Everett Brown, 68, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at his home.

He taught at Wabash Valley College for several years.

Surviving are his wife, Margie; a daughter, Linda C. Hall; five sons, N. Daniel, Gary P., Carl E., Scott and Eric A.; two sisters, Joan Jenkins and Carol Ring; and 12 grandchildren.

Memorial services 3 p.m. Sunday at Cunningham Funeral Home, burial in Peabody, Mass. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to service time.

Charlotte Frederick

BRIDGEPORT - Charlotte B. (Schofield) Frederick, 93, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at her home.

She had owned and operated a drapery shop, The White Oak Country Shop.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Joanne Malcomson; a sister, Alta Stoltz; and two brothers, Joseph C. and Richard D. Schofield.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cunningham Funeral Home, burial in Bridgeport Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lincoln Trail Hospice.

Madelynne Legg

MOUNT CARMEL - Madelynne (Smith) Legg, 78, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at her home.

She had worked at Target in retail.

Surviving are two daughters, Deborah Legg and Arvilla King; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Short Funeral Home, burial in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.

Muriel Potts

ELDORADO - Muriel F. (Vaught) Potts, 83, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at Ferrell Hospital.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda Hale; four sons, Lindell, Jerry, Terry and Danny; two sisters, Geraldine O'Neal and Inez Cowsert; 14 grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home, burial in Leamington Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Delores Vaclavik

KEENSBURG - Delores Mae (McDaniel) Vaclavik, 62, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at her home.

She had worked for Roadmaster in Olney.

Surviving are her husband, Donald Vaclavik; four daughters, Mary Shelton, Carol Fox, Diane Hanson and Colette "Cricket" Schilloingowski; two sons, David and Mike Fox; four sisters, Georgette Calloway, Irene Dorney, Joyce Perry and Barbara Bates; five brothers, Roger, Myron, Theodore, Tony and Fred McDaniel; and 14 grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Short Funeral Home in Mount Carmel, burial in McDaniel Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 p.m. to service time.

Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association.

Joan Dixon

HARRISBURG - Joan Dixon, 70, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at he home of cancer.

Surviving are two daughters, Kelly Hathaway and Leigh Dixon; a sister, Rosemary Cox; two brothers, Darrell and Dwight Borders; and two grandchildren.

There will be no service or visitation at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado.
