Helen was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Decatur, the daughter of Herbert H. and Ida Laura Mueller Waller.
Surviving are her sisters, Elizabeth Walser of Decatur; Gloria Moutrey and husband Wilburn of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.

SULLIVAN -- Judge W.B. "Dutch" Kranz, 83, of Sullivan died 5:45 a.m. Wednesday (April 11, 2001) in Sullivan Health Care Center.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan, with the Rev. Glen Stewart officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan. Memorials: American Heart Association or donor's choice.
Judge Kranz was born April 13, 1917, in Chicago, the son of Philip R. and M. Pearl Brown Kranz. Dutch was a 50-year member of Illinois State Bar Association, 53-year member of American Legion, 50-year member of Methodist Church, member of Sullivan Lions Club, George A. Sentel 764 AF & AM, a 32nd-degree mason with Bloomington Valley Scottish Rite and was a former member of Moweaqua Rotary Club and Moweaqua school board.
Dutch graduated from Danville High School in 1935 and was a 1940 graduate of Caterpillar Inc. Machinist Tool and Die Maker School. He then graduated from University of Illinois in Champaign and John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 1950. From 1950 until 1968, he practiced law in Moweaqua, from 1967 until 1973 he practiced law in Sullivan and from 1961 until 1967 he was the closing attorney for land purchases on the Lake Shelbyville Dam Project.
On April 2, 1973, Dutch was appointed an associate judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit. On April 1, 1980, he was appointed resident circuit judge for Moultrie County in the Sixth Judicial Circuit. In November 1982, he was elected resident circuit judge and retired from that position Oct. 2, 1987. Dutch served in the
Army Corps of Engineers attaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant He married Mary L. Walker Nov. 30, 1940, in East Peoria.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Susie Alexander and husband Bob of Decatur; Sandra Bland of Bemidji, Minn.; grandchildren, J. Luke Bland of Decatur; D. Wesley Bland of Menomonie, Wis.; Amanda B. Bland of Mankato, Minn.; brother, retired Col. "Jack" A. Kranz of Savanna.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant twin brothers.

Surviving are her parents; grandparents, Larry and Cheryl Switzer and Sherron Moomaw, all of Arcola; great-grandparents, Telva Williams of Arcola; Elsie Switzer of Newman; Lyle and Betty Nicholas of Mahomet; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bob Moomaw, and two great-grandfathers.
