DECATUR -- Alice B. Hogan, 81, of Decatur died 12:15 p.m. Friday (Feb. 21, 2003) in Imboden Creek Living Center.
Funeral liturgy will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Dawson & Wikoff Colonial Chapel North, with visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Holy Family Catholic Church or Imboden Creek Living Center.
Mrs. Hogan was born March 11, 1921, in Decatur, the daughter of George W. and Minnie Parjani Bain. She was a deputy city clerk for Decatur for 33 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and Lady Elks. She married George T. Hogan on Feb. 9, 1946. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are her sister, Dorothy Dickson of Daytona Beach, Fla.; nephews, Chuck Duncan and wife Carolyn of Marietta, Ga.; Melvin Bain and wife Debby of Memphis, Tenn.; nieces, Janice Ford of Daytona Beach; Charlotte Bain of Port Huron, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, James Ray Bain; and niece, Carol Porter.
Special thanks to Dr. Anthony McCormack and all the staff at Imboden Creek Living Center for the loving care given to Alice her last four years.

DECATUR -- Robert E. "Boob" Powell, 50, of Decatur died Saturday (Feb. 22, 2003) in his home.

Robert was born March 4, 1952, in Decatur, the son of Earnest Powell and Bernice Challans. He enjoyed fishing, camping and riding motorcycles. He was a former member of ABATE. He married Tamila Nance on Jan. 16, 1982, in Decatur.
Surviving are his wife; father, Ernie Powell; children, Jesse Ray Powell and wife Kim of Canton, Texas; Bobbi Jo Powell and Mike of Canton; Robert Powell Jr. of Decatur; stepson, Brian Parish and wife Debbie of Decatur; brothers, Leonard Powell of Gulfport, Miss.; Davy Powell of Decatur; sister, Beverly; eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.

WELDON -- Mark D. Adams, 49, of Weldon died 5:18 a.m. Monday (Feb. 24, 2003) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Adams was born Dec. 3, 1953, in Evanston, the son of Roger Adams and Audrey Carr. He was affiliated with Weldon United Methodist Church. He was a former member of Weldon Volunteer Fire Department and Weldon Lions Club. He was a maintenance electrician for Pioneer Hi-Bred Seed Plant in LeRoy since 1985. He was a graduate of Deland-Weldon High School and earned his certification as an electrician from Parkland College, Champaign. He married Rhonda Reeves on June 17, 1995, in Weldon.
Surviving are his wife; son, Doug Adams of Champaign; sisters, Susan (Tim) Tinus of Oconomowoc, Wis.; Karen (Mark) Frulla of Glenmore, Pa.; brother, Robert (Lori) Westgard of Spring, Texas.
He was pr eceded in death by his parents.

BETHANY -- K. Wayne Hagen, 67, of Bethany died Sunday (Feb. 23, 2003) in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Free Methodist Church, Bethany. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial will be in Moultrie County Memorial Park with military rites. Memorials: in care of the family.
Wayne was born Sept. 23, 1935, in Clay County, the son of Kermit R. and Veneta P. Smith Hagen. He was a member of Bethany American Legion. He was in the
Army during the
Korean War. He married Doris Sutton on Oct. 22, 1960.
Surviving are his wife; mother; son, Doug Hagen of Findlay; brothers, Bob Hagen, Rodger Hagen and Larry Hagen, all of Louisville; Darrell Hagen of Farina; sisters, Barbara Brainard of Pittsburg, Pa.; Adeline Kincaid of Louisville; Joyce Diemal of Lebanon, Tenn.; Kathryn Brown of Springfield; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Pattison
ASSUMPTION -- The Rev. H. Sheldon Pattison, 94, of Pontiac, died 5 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 22, 2003) in Evenglow Lodge.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church, Pontiac, with the Rev. Dan Harry officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services in the church. Burial will be in Washington Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, Ind. Arrangements are by Duffy Funeral Homes, Pontiac. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Evenglow Lodge.
The Rev. Pattison was born Nov. 4, 1908, in Noblesville, Ind. the son of Howard Pattison and Donna Lee Hart. He was a minister from 1935 to 1974 and a member of First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Pattison's pastoral appointments included Putnamville, Mount Meridian, Patricksburg Circuit, Thawville, LaHogue, Astoria, Vermont, Sheldon's Grove, Geneseo, Lincoln, Pontiac and Taylorville. He was also a United Methodist District
superintendent. He retired in 1974. He graduated from Southport High School, Indianapolis, and from Indiana University with the A. B. degree after studying at DePauw University, where he was a rector scholar and attended Garrett. He married Laura Grace Trimble. She preceded him in death. He later married Virginia Sue Bilyeu. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are his son, Carl Pattison of Chicago; daughters, Donna Fishback of Omaha, Neb.; stepchildren, Donnie (Lynn Kay) Bilyeu and Vickie (Rich) Boden, all of Assumption; Danny (Cathy) Bilyeu of Sarasota, Fla.; Ronnie Bilyeu of Taylorville; Patty (Raymond) Barding of Decatur; half brothers, Paul Pattison of Columbus, Ind.; David Pattison of San Diego, Calif.; half sister, Ruth Ann Logan of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Todd, Jeff, Cris Fishback and 14 other grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and both wives.
