Francis `Mike' Kilfoy
Prayers for Francis `Mike' Kilfoy, 65, of St. Louis, formerly of Mount Prospect, will be said at 10:30 a. m.
Tuesday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road, at Northwest Hwy., Mount Prospect, with Mass to follow at 11 a. m. ,at St. Emily Church.
Born May 27, 1932 in Chicago, Mr. Kilfoy, a former dispatcher for the Mount Prospect Police Department, died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, at home.
He was the husband of Theresa (nee Happ) Kilfoy; father of Michael (Ayse), Leo (Martha), and Kathleen (Jerry) Coughlin; brother of Edward, Leo, and Mary Kathryn Kilfoy, Martina Daker, and Madeline Sampson; grandfather of six; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p. m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Memorials would be appreciated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Alicia F. Stiff
Services for Alicia F. Stiff, a resident of Des Plaines for the past 36 years, will be held at 11 a. m. Wednesday, at St. Martins Episcopal Church, 1095 Thacker St., in Des Plaines.
Born in Minneapolis Jan. 15, 1930, she died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997, at her home.
She is survived by her husband, Emm; sons, Larry (Marcia), Ronald (Janet), Kenneth (Karen), Thomas (Brenda), Robert, Timothy, and Scott (Beth); six grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p. m. Tuesday, at Drake and Sons Funeral Home, 625 N. Busse Hwy., Park Ridge, and Wednesday lying in state at St. Martins Episcopal Church from 10 a. m. until the time of services at 11 a. m.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to a cancer research or charity of your choice.

Joyce Lee Abraham Services for Joyce Lee Abraham (nee Dillman) will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Interment will take place in Bartlett Cemetery.
She was the beloved wife of Keith; devoted mother of Richard, Randy and Melissa; dear sister of Bruce, Jeanette, Cindy, Paul, Pat, James, David and John; and dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St.,Roselle, and from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. Thursday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Visitation for John S. Agenlian, 54, of Hoffman Estates, will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W.Lawrence Ave., Norridge.
Born May 10, 1944, in Chicago, he died Monday, Jan.26, 1998, at home.Burial will be in Mount Emblem Cemetery.
A insurance underwriter, he was the husband of Carolyn; father of John (Juli) and Janet; brother of Elizabeth (Robert) Jacobsen; and brother-in-law of Mary Ellen Fenrick and Janet (James) Eckert.

Deborah A.Beck
Services for Deborah A.Beck, 53, of Algonquin, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Wait-Ross Allanson Chapel, 201 S.Main St., Algonquin.
Born Oct. 25, 1944, in Louisville, Ky., she died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, at Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. Burial will be in Windridge Cemetery, Cary.
Mrs. Beck had been employed as an investment manager with All State Insurance.
Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Fletcher of Kansas City, Mo. and Ryan Beck of Algonquin; stepsons, Bruce Beck Jr. of Winfield and Brian Beck of Oswego; daughter, Jayme Van Gemert of Algonquin; stepdaughters, Sherry Plumb of Carpentersville, and Holly Beck and Amy Pielin, both of Algonquin; father, Chester Rians of Peoria; sister, Shelley (Thomas) Drage of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Clark (Christy) Rians of Edelstein, Ill.; two grandchildren; and seven stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Beck, on Jan. 9, 1996. The couple had married Jan. 23, 1981.

Dorothy V. Behm
Services for Dorothy V. Behm, 79, of Elgin, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin. Chaplain Stan DeVries will officiate.
Born Aug. 26, 1918, in Elgin, to Walter and Caroline (nee Schmitz) Behm, she died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, at her home. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery.
Miss Behm was a lifelong resident of Elgin. A graduate of Elgin High School in 1936, she was employed by the Elgin National Watch Company. During World War II, she was inducted into the Navy WAVES, and was honorably discharged as a Pharmacist's Mate Third Class in 1946. Subsequently she worked for Van's Drug Store in Elgin for many years until it closed, and then for Munch's Pharmacy until her retirement.
Survivors include her aunt, Lucille (Clifford) Behm of St.Charles; uncles, Edwin Schmitz of Michigan and Herman Seegert of Elgin; cousins, Bette (Darrel) Monteith, William Schmitz Jr., Lorraine (Ole) Springer, James Thornton and Mike Seegert, all of Elgin, and numerous other cousins from out of town.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Walter `Bud' Behm Jr.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, or to the American Cancer Society.

Jane M. Berenger
Services for Jane M. Berenger, 81, of Rice Lake, Wis., formerly of Prospect Heights, willbe held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Appleyard's Home for Funerals, Rice Lake, Wis.
Born June 5, 1916, in Chicago, she died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at home. Burial will be held at a later date in Lonetree Cemetery, Everly, Iowa.
Survivors include her children, Gary (late Marilyn) Berenger of Hoffman Estates, Pamela (Tom) Johnson of Streamwood and Robert of Plymouth, Wis.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Berenger; and son, Earl.

Jeffery `Buger' A. Bush
Funeral services for Jeffery `Buger' A.Bush, 27, of Batavia, will be held at 11 a.m.Wednesday, at the Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home, Batavia. Rev. Steve Miller will officiate.
Born Aug. 15, 1970, in St. Charles, the son of Delbert Sr. and Arlene Bush, he died Sunday, Jan.25, 1998, at home.Interment will be in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia.
Buger was a lifelong resident of Batavia and enjoyed playing basketball and football while in school.He worked in construction with heavy equipment, was a gifted auto mechanic and enjoyed music.
He is survived by his parents, Delbert Sr. and Arlene Bush of Batavia; daughters, Jamie and Allysen Bush of Batavia; brother, Jerry Bush of Batavia; sister, Cindy (Tim) Teague-Bush of South Elgin; many aunts and uncles; three nieces; and special friend, Karie Colborn.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Delbert L. Bush Jr. and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Therese K. Carmen
A funeral Mass for Therese K. Carmen (nee Volino), 92, of Palatine, formerly of Chicago,will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
Born Jan. 8, 1906, in Chicago, she died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, at the St. Joseph Home for the Elderly. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
Survivors include her nieces, Carole Sorrentino, Cecile Marino, Teresa Travala, Therese Mason and Theresa Zenaty; nephew, William Holmes; and 21 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ann Avezzano, Mildred Travala and Louise Holmes; brother, Dominick Volino; nephews, Pat Avezzano and Joe Marino; and niece, Joan Holmes.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the St.Joseph Home for the Elderly.

Janet Beth Chally
Services for Janet Beth Chally (nee Dodd), 60, of Algonquin, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, at Congregational Church of Algonquin.
Born Feb. 1, 1937, in Algonquin, she died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, at home. Burial will be in Algonquin Cemetery, Algonquin.
A teacher with both School Districts 300 and 47, she was a member of the church and a graduate of Dundee High School and North Central College in Naperville.
Survivors include her husband, Donald, whom she married April 1, 1961; and sons, Allen (Kimberly) Chally of Algonquin and Bruce Chally of Plainfield.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Wait Ross Allanson Chapel, Algonquin.

George C. Engbrecht Jr.
Memorial services for George C. Engbrecht Jr., 72, of Barrington, will be scheduled for a later date.
Born Sept. 18, 1925, in Chicago, he died Monday, Jan. 26, 1998, at home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
He spent his junior year of High School at the Northeastern military Academy in Lake Geneva, Wis. He served in the Army during World War II and after an honorable discharge, he worked for the U.S. Government in the Panama Canal. He was the former vice president of the family owned business, Sewed Products in Fox River Grove.He worked in the vault at Harris Bank for ten years retiring in 1996. He was former member of the Biltmore Country Club and member of Salem United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen (nee Blanke), whom he married Feb. 9, 1946, in Barrington; children, Scott of Houston, Texas, Eric (Lynette) of Eden Prairie, Minn. and Susan Engbrecht of Barrington; and grandchildren, Jonathan and Alicia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edna (nee Olsen) Engbrecht.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010 or to Salem United Methodist Church, 115 W. Lincoln Ave.,Barrington, IL 60010.
