Lorida Louise King of Batavia
Memorial services for Lorida Louise King, 51, will be held at 7:30 p.m. today, at Congregational Church of Batavia, 21 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia.
Born Sept. 19, 1947, in Chicago, she died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at her home. Interment will be private.
Mrs. King was formerly employed by the Little Traveler in Geneva and by the Winfield White Hen Pantry. She was active with the Plain Dirt Gardeners.
She is survived by her husband, Richard, whom she married Dec. 31, 1971, in Lamont; children, Edward of Wheaton, Nicole (fiance, Mike Crum) of Montgomery and Natalie of Batavia; brother, Thomas (Barbara) Pearson of Lamont; and aunt, Pauline McGuire of Lamont.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Betty Pearson.
There will not be a visitation.

Katherine M. King
Services for Katherine M. King (nee Doherty), 98, of Norwood Park in Chicago, will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at M. J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago, and continue with Mass at 10 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, Harlem and Talcott Avenues, Chicago.
Born Dec. 20, 1900, in Chicago, she died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, at her home.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
A homemaker, shewas the beloved mother of the late Mary Jayne McCarthy; loving grandmother of James J. McCarthy, Mary Kay (Tony) Affrunti, Kevin K. McCarthy, Patricia (Art) Sternberg and Maura (Thomas) Cannella; and proud great-grandmother of Jenny, Amy, Peter and Art Jr.

Theodore K. Kipping formerly of Naperville
Services for Theodore K. Kipping, 71, recently of Shabbona, Ill., will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at BeidelmanKunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. Van Buren, Naperville.
Born Aug. 27, 1927, in Chicago, he died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at home. Interment will be private.
He was a resident of Naperville for more than 40 years and a six-month resident of Shabbona. Mr. Kipping was employed withthe Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago for 32 years, retiring in 1989, as chief of security. He was a veteran of the Army, a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, serving as flotilla commander and American Legion Post #76 in Wheaton, and a life member of the NRA, The Isaac Walton League and Duck's Unlimited.
Survivors include his son, Theodore (Barbara) of Naperville; daughter, Beth (Joseph) Johnson of Big Rock, Ill.; grandchildren, Ryan and Jennifer Kipping; and sister, Betty Conlon of St. Charles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maxwell and Ada (nee Arp); and wife, Dorothy C. (nee Jones).
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Margaret E. Kucera of Des Plaines
Funeral services for Margaret E. Kucera (nee Whetstone), 86, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
Born July 25, 1912, in Des Plaines, she died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at Holy Family Hospital. Burial will be in Ridgewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Kucera was a retired municipal clerk for the City of Des Plaines.
She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Kucera; mother of James F. (Diana) Kucera of Elgin and Dorothy (Richard) Schwarz of Des Plaines; sister of Edward (Sue) Whetstone of California, Helen Harper of Des Plaines and the late Pearl Doyle; grandmother of James A. (Lisa) Kucera of Crystal Lake and Christine (Brian) Sleeman of Elgin; great-grandmother of Crystal Sleeman; and aunt of Robert S. MacKenzie Jr.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Marjorie Ann Larsen of DeKalb
Services for Marjorie Ann Larsen (nee Ackerman), 67, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Community Congregational Church, Shannon and Main St., Elburn. The Reverend Katherine Lawes will officiate.
Born Nov. 19, 1931, in Aurora, the daughter of George and Lucile G. (nee Hubbard) Ackerman, she passed away peacefully at DeKalb Healthcare Center, where she had battled cancer for many months. Interment will be in South Burlington Cemetery.
Marge grew up in Hinckley where she graduated from Hinckley High School, with a talented class of 12. Often remembering those years she recalled playing saxophone in the band that went to Riverview to play and being a cheerleader for the basketball team.
She excelled in writing and enjoyed painting even into the later years of her life. After graduation she began working for Barber Green in Aurora, but soon met Robert Larsen at the skating rink in Sandwich. They were married on Jan. 26, 1951, and made their home in Hinckley for a time.
Through the ensuing years, they lived in several Kaneland communities but mostly near Elburn.
Ironically, the lady who hadso enjoyed her school years, spent the next 20 years cooking for kids at the Elburn Grade School and Kaneland High School. Retiring in 1990, Marge devoted herself to her grandchildren and family.
Although good health was never her companion in those later years, she had a great stamina and always managed a brave face and a caregivers heart.
Survivors include her children, Peggy Swan of Hinckley, Nancy (Rich) Miller, Rich (Mary) Larsen and Rob (Debbie) Larsen all of Maple Park; grandchildren, Doug (Lisa) Wielert of Elburn, Laura Wielert of Cortland, Ryan Swan of Hinckley, Christopher and Kellie Larsen, Denny Miller, Matthew, Brittany and Ashley Larsen all of Maple Park; great-grandchildren, Emma and Trevor Wielert, and Alexis and Samantha Hammond; sister, Beth (Dewey) Wallis of Sandwich; andmany nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; and sister, Joyce Royer.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn.

Frank O. Lembcke of Harvard
Funeral services for Frank O. Lembcke, 85, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Harvard. The Rev. Michael D. Pfingsten will officiate.
Born Dec. 1, 1913, in Harvard, he died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at Harvard Hometown Care Centre. Interment will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Harvard.
Mr. Lembcke was a lifelong dairy farmer in Harvard. A 1931 graduate of Harvard High School, he was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Farm Bureau.
He is survived by daughters, Judy (Dennis) Saam of Schaumburg, Joyce (Mike) Hanson of Harvard, Jane (Larry) Long of Marengo, Joanne (David) Colcord of Woodstock and Jeanette (Harold) Erlenbach of Waterman, Ill.; grandchildren, Tim, Dan (Vicki), Ken, Tom and Jon Saam, Karen (Dan) Beard, Michael and Erik Hanson, Kelli (Gerry) DeDina, Randy (Diana) and Matthew Long, Scott, Valerie and Aaron Colcord, and Pamela, Kevin, Jamie and Tracey Erlenbach; great-grandchildren, Danny Saam, Joshua DeDina and Michaela Beard; and sisters, Blanche Peterson of Maryland, Lucy Blake of Crystal Lake and Arlene Echternach of Crystal Lake.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Lucille Bend; parents, Frank C. and Lena (nee Eicksteadt); an infant son, David, in1947; an infant brother, Frederick; and sisters, Mabel Beilke and Ruth Lembcke.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at Saunders and McFarlin Funeral Home, Ltd., 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, and from 10 a.m. until thetime of services, Tuesday, at the church.

Bridget M. McFall of Mount Prospect
A funeral Mass for Bridget M. McFall (nee Duffy), 78, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Mary Church, 794 Pearson St., Des Plaines.
Born Jan. 2, 1921, in Chicago, she died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at Ballard Nursing Home. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mrs. McFall was a homemaker and also volunteered for many years at Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines.
She was the beloved wife of the late Russell McFall; and dearest sister of Louis (Bernadette) Duffy of Chicago, and her late brothers and sisters, Edward (the late Vivian), Joseph, Patrick, Charles, Maurice and Rose Duffy, Nancy (the late Edward) Shurz and Josephine (the late Thomas) O'Donnell.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.

Gladys Barbara McMurray of Libertyville
Services for Gladys Barbara McMurray (nee Cihak), 94, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Place, Libertyville.
Born May 17, 1904, in Chicago, she died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at Winchester House in Libertyville. Private burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
Mrs. McMurray was a retired secretary for Evanston Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Thomas, who preceded her in 1965; mother of Barbara (David) Chapman; grandmother of John (Anamarie) Chapman and the late Donald (Cathy) Chapman; great-grandmother of Christine and Patricia Chapman; and great-great-grandmother of Anne Chapman.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services, Tuesday, at the funeral chapel.

Marvin P. Moose formerly of Streamwood
Services for Marvin P. Moose, 68, an Arkdale, Wis. resident for the past seven years, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg.
Born July 24, 1930, in Chicago, he died suddenly Friday, Jan. 29, 1999. Interment will be in River Valley Memorial Gardens West Dundee.
Mr. Moose was a building inspector for the village of Streamwood for 11 years.
He was a troop leader for Boy Scout Troop #50 and a member of the Mauston Moose Lodge. He was a loving father and grandfather, and a great outdoorsman.
He was the husband of the late Dorothy (nee Nystrom); father of Dean (Karen) Moose of South Elgin, Derek (Cheryl) Moose of South Elgin and Devin (Monica) Moose of St. Charles; grandfather of Jacob, Jamie, Jason, Jeannine, Jennifer, Jodie and Sam; brother of Betty (Dick) Burns of Rock Falls, Ill., Darlene (the late Bert) Sauter of Cicero and Evelyn Rudnick of Chicago; and uncle of many loving nieces and nephews.
He would help anyone at anytime.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Philip J. Mueller of Schaumburg

A pioneer of Schaumburg in 1940, he was the first police commissioner of Schaumburg and a village trustee.
He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia; and dearest father of John (Nancy).
