Jean Caroline Lukens Leadingham, 86, of Limestone, Illinois; past to the glory of heaven, at her home, after a long full life, Thursday, June 24, 2010. Mrs. Leadingham was born in Chicago, Illinois, August 22, 1923 to William T. and Edith Mueller Lukens. Jean was married to Walter (Walt) Leadingham her true love, March 17, 1943 in Joliet, IL. He passed December 29, 1971..
She was also preceded in death by one son Michael, two- grandchildren; Wayne Leadingham, and one infant grandchild, Michael JR., step-brother, Bob Lukens and 2 step-sisters, Ruth and Barbara.
Surviving is one sister, Doris Leadingham of Cabery, Illinois; one brother, Bill Lukens of Georgia; 3 daughters, Sue and husband, Bill Lee of Limestone; Cristine and husband, David Schneider of North Port, Florida, Debby Joy Leadingham Baskall of Revere, Massachusetts; one son, Daniel and wife, Helen Leadingham of Watseka, and 15 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Leadingham loved watching and listening to birds, her beloved pets, Madd Maxx and Snowy, traveling, gardening, reading, fishing and family time.
A graveside service will be held 3 p.m., Monday, June 28, 2010 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Cabery Illinois.

Gladys Ilene Reeder, 89, Watseka, IL
Gladys Ilene Reeder, 89, of Watseka, IL passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Watseka Rehab & Health Care Center.
Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service on Friday, June 25, at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. Pastor Rod Light will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Milford.
Mrs. Reeder was born April 23, 1921 in Wasson, IL, a daughter of George and Joetta Bach Bryant. She married Charles Reeder on June 6, 1942 in Harco, IL and he preceded her in death in March, 1969.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Julie Reeder Jr. of Bryce; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Doug Land of Hoopeston, Charlene and Jerry Perkins of Granada, MN and Judy and Mark Hart of Milford; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters.
Mrs. Reeder enjoyed country music and singing.

Travis W. Rudisill, 27, of Woodland, IL passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010 in Watseka, IL.
Visitation will run from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Segur-Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
Mr. Rudisill was born Nov. 21, 1982 in Watseka, IL, a son of Jerry and Joanna Junglas Rudisill.
Survivors include his mother and grandmother, JoAnn Rudisill of Woodland; his father and step-mother, Jerry and Tina Rudisill of Watseka; an aunt and her friend, Lisa Rudisill and Jeff Bertram of Watseka; an uncle, Kenneth Rudisill of Woodland, IL, Becky Rudisill of Watseka, IL; a cousin, Duane Michael of Woodland, IL; and special friend, Kelly Trumble of Watseka, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandfather, Kenneth J. Rudisill; his step-father, Earl Norris; and an aunt, Jane Rudisill.

Leo Patrick “Pat” Rose, 78, Clifton, IL
Leo Patrick “Pat” Rose, 78, of Clifton, IL passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Provena St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, IL.
Visitation will run for one hour prior to the 7 p.m. memorial service on Thursday, June 24 at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton. Rev. William Callister will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Mr. Rose was born March 3, 1932 in LaSalle, IL, a son of Leo and Bernice Pellican Rose. He married Peggy Holzhauer on Aug. 7, 1971 in Clifton and she survives.
Other survivors include four daughters, Leeann Rose of Ogelsby, IL, Teri Fidler of Bradley, IL, Tracy Fidler of Clifton, IL and Lynn Demoynk of Cherry, IL; one son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Lynn Rose of Ogelsby, IL; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, June Eiten.
Mr. Rose served in the US Marines during the Korean Conflict, earning the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and the National Service Medal. He was a retired sales manager for Joyce Beverage in Joliet. He enjoyed camping, boating,
hunting and fishing, but really enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his “river buddies”.

Robert “Bud” Peters, 81, Watseka, IL
Robert “Bud” Peters, 81, of Watseka, IL passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL.
Visitation will run from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, at Segur-Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka, where services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23. Rev. Paul Copeland will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka, where military graveside rites will be accorded by Watseka American Legion Post #23 and Iroquois County VFW Post #7450.
Mr. Peters was born Jan. 29, 1929 in Watseka, IL, a son of Ernest and Pearl Cahoe Peters. He married Bonnie Hemp on June 9, 1962 in Philo, IL and she preceded him in death on Aug. 18, 1991. He then married Sandra Kuhlman Elliott on Oct. 10, 1992 in Watseka and she survives.
Other survivors include four daughters, Bobbi Peters and fiance Scott Laten of Scottsdale, AZ, Sally and John Emmert of Bloomington, IL, Tammy Bohlmann and fiance Curtis Hubert of Watseka, and Vicki and Kurt Olson of Pataskala, OH; one son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Stacey Elliott of Johnson City, TN; and ten grandchildren, Alexandra Matossian, Kelsey Emmert, Haley Emmert, Cassie Elliott, Paige Elliott, Vanessa Elliott, Samantha Daniels, Cody Daniels, Madeline Olson and Michael Olson.
Besides his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Mr. Peters served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Watseka, the Watseka Elks Lodge, the Watseka American Legion Post #23, and the Iroquois County VFW Post #7450. After retiring from farming, he was employed by the Secretary of State Driver License Bureau for several years and was later employed for thirteen years by the City of Watseka. He was an avid pilot who enjoyed the outdoors,
hunting, fishing and farming. Bud was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

Wayne Eugene Bowton, 91, Charlotte, NC
Wayne Eugene Bowton, age 91, of Charlotte, NC, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital. Born March 2, 1919 in Sheldon, IL, he was a son of the late Wilton and Cloa Eastburn Bowton. Mr. Bowton retired as a welder of Inland Steel Company after 26 years of service. He enjoyed traveling and building houses, boats and planes. Mr. Bowton was known for his ability to repair any object.
The service to celebrate the life of Wayne Eugene Bowton will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010 at Knapp Funeral Home in Sheldon, IL with the Rev. Van Haas officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Sheldon Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Lois Bowton Marek and her husband, James, of Charlotte, NC, two sons, Robert Bowton and his wife, Diane, of Hillsboro, OR and Jerry Bowton and his wife, Patricia, of San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowton was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda Laffern Bowton; a brother, Donald Bowton; and a sister, Irene Bowton Goin.
Mary Louise Fletcher, 72, Watseka, IL
Mary Louise Fletcher, 72, of Watseka, IL passed away on Monday, June 14, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL.
Visitation will run from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, at Segur-Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka and for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. service on Friday, June 18, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka. Rev. Donald Love will officiate. Burial will be at Prairie Dell Cemetery in Iroquois, IL.
Mrs. Fletcher was born Nov. 8, 1937 in Onarga, IL, a daughter of Henry J. and Amanda E. Hopmann Cluver. She married David Allen Fletcher on June 29, 1957 in Ash Grove and he preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 1995.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Tod and Gayle Fletcher of Iroquois and Tim and Lisa Fletcher of Donovan; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Randie Orr of Watseka; one sister, Carol Kane, of Watseka; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Robert and Shirley Cluver of Kankakee, and David and Judy Cluver and Jim Cluver all of Watseka; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Onnie and Nancy Hilgendorf of Donovan; seven grandchildren and spouses, Stacey and Aaron Meyer of Bloomington, IL, Tricia Orr of Chicago, Anthony Fletcher of Ft. Wayne, IN, Airman 1st Class Nicholas and Leah Fletcher of Omaha, NE, Ashton Fletcher, Heather Fletcher and Kyle Fletcher all of Donovan; and one great-grandchild, Griffin Meyer of Bloomington, IL.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Fletcher was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka where she was involved in evangelism. She was a former Sunday School teacher and also participated in the Shut-In Tape Ministry. She kept busy over the years working for the Donovan Egg Farm, helping her husband farm in the Donovan area and working at TRW Condensor in Watseka. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren in their various sporting events, bowling, fishing and playing cards.

Vivian F. Trumble, 92, of Watseka, IL passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka.
Visitation will run for one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. service on Tuesday, June 15, at Segur-Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Rev. Paul Copeland will officiate. Burial will be at Prairie Dell Cemetery in Iroquois, IL.
Ms. Trumble was born March 14, 1918 in Martinton, IL, a daughter of Jesse L. and Faye Hedge Trumble.
Survivors include three sisters and one brother-in-law, Helen Kaufman and Mae and Ted Horner, all of Watseka and Betty Margrey of Cissna Park; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Trumble of Donovan and Shirley Trumble of Crescent City; eight nieces and seven nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
Ms. Trumble attended school in Donovan and Crawfordsville, IN. She was the first woman pharmacist in Watseka where she worked at Faye’s Drug Store for over twenty-five years.

Judy Daniels Andersch, 67, of Lake Havasu, AZ, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Lake Havasu, AZ.
Private services will be held in Lake Havasu, AZ.
Ms. Andersch was born Feb. 15, 1943 in West Virginia.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Albert and Sue Daniels, Jr. of Plainfield, IL, James Daniels of Lake Havasu, AZ and Otto and Monica Daniels of Paxton, IL; one brother, David Bounds of Oak Hill,WV; and seven grandchildren, Jack Daniels, Billy Daniels and Kyle Daniels of Plainfield, IL, Brittany Daniels of Chatsworth, IL and Jamie Daniels, Tracy Daniels and Jori Daniels of Chicago, IL.
Ms. Andersch was preceded in death by her parents.
Ms. Andersch was a loving grandmother, sister and friend. She helped everyone start their day at the BP station in Roberts.

Funeral services for Richard A. Deany, 75, of Hot Springs, AR and formerly of Chebanse, IL will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Sts. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Chebanse, IL. Mr. Deany was born on April 3, 1935 in Chatsworth, IL, the son of William J. and Kathryn M. Berlett Deany. He married Myrna C. Downing on April 7, 1956 in Chebanse, IL. She preceded him in death on September 3, 1992. He then married the former Pam Stewart Bergman in Watseka, IL on September 8, 1993 and she survives in Hot Springs, AR.
He is also survived by daughters, Terri (Dan) Stauffenberg of Manteno and Chris (Mike) Brouillet of Jupiter, FL; and sons, David (Dr. Deidre) Deany of Clifton, IL and Rick (Karen) Deany of Chebanse, IL. There are stepchildren, Jill (Ron) Wallace of Hot Springs, AR and Joe (Gina) Bergman of Bourbonnais, IL. Also, thirteen grandchildren, Derek, Courtney and Sidney Stauffenberg, Sarah Brouillet, Philip Brouillet and Kayla Deany, Taylor Deany, Jason (Kathy) Deany, Matt Deany and Adam (Kristy) Deany, Dylan Birge, Hayley Birge and Jake Bergman. In addition there are three great-grandchildren, Annabelle Deany, Elizabeth Deany and Bryce Deany. A sister, Millie (Tom) Stevenson survives in Chebasne, IL. In addition to his first wife , he was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Deany and four sisters, Marjorie Dubois, Arlene Wendling, Delores Deany and Wilma Milton.
Dick enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, boating, the outdoors, traveling and trucking throughout the U.S. He was affectionately known as “Digger”. He enjoyed being with family and friends.

Jacob E. “Jake” Salm, 78, of Martinton, IL passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Heartland Health Care in Paxton, IL.

Mr. Salm was born June 21, 1931 in Martinton, IL, a son of Martin and Ethel Bear Salm. He married Phyllis “Annie” Everett on April 11, 1953 in Martinton and she preceded him in death on Oct. 3, 1999.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Janice Salm of Papineau; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jay Matthews of Bloomington, IL; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Ruth Salm of Watseka and Wendell and Sandy Salm of Martinton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cora and Richard LeSage and Opal and Kenneth Tatro all of Martinton; three grandchildren, Travis, Jace and Jasmine Salm; one sister-in-law, Mary Salm of Watseka; and seventeen nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Frank; an infant brother and sister; two nieces; and one nephew.
Mr. Salm served in the US
Army. He was a lifetime farmer in the Martinton area. He was a member and elder of Centennial Christian Church in Watseka. He also served on the Iroquois County Fair Board, the Iroquois County Zoning Board and Prarie States Christian Camp Board for many years.

Derrick Gaddis, 42, Milford, IL
Derrick Gaddis, 42, of Milford, IL passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka, IL.
Visitation will run from 10 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service on Saturday, June 12, at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. Rev. Neil Larimore will officiate. Burial will be at Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston, IL.
Mr. Gaddis was born Aug. 16, 1967 in Chicago, IL, a son of Butch and Gwendolyn McCain Gaddis.
Survivors include his mother, Gwendolyn Gaddis of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Cynthia McCain of Danville, IL; one nephew, Deitrich Gaddis of Danville, IL; his fiancee, Ronda Buhrmester of Milford; one step-brother, Vincent Gaddis of California; and his grandmother, Sally McCain of Chicago.
Preceding him in death was his father, Butch Gaddis.
Mr. Gaddis loved canoeing, softball and football and enjoyed collecting stamps and coins. He was an Illini fan. He was currently enrolled at DACC in the Wind Technology Program. He worked at Uarco for fifteen years and at Baltimore Air Coil for eight years.
