Patsy Lee Goar
KOKOMO – Patsy Lee Goar, 63, Kokomo, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007 at Northwoods Village in Kokomo.
Born June 9, 1944 in Elwood, she was the daughter of Bud and Phyllis (Leavell) Yohe.
She attended Windfall United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Yohe of Windfall; her siblings, Don Yohe of Hobbs and Debra Bryant of Windfall; her nieces and nephews, Jill Yohe, Cara Yohe, Geremy Bryant and Kevin Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bud.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Porter Funeral Home in Tipton. Pastor Josh Ditmer will officiate. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mildred C. Reid
Mildred C. Reid, 86, formerly of Franklin, died today at Miller’s Merry Manor in Tipton.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home.
Larry E. Ryan
Larry E. Ryan, 64, Tipton, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007 at his home.
Born Jan. 17, 1943 in Windfall, he was the son of Darrell E. and Mary Estella (Stout) Ryan. He was raised by his beloved grandparents, Ira Franklin and Maude Belle (Bouge) Ryan. On Aug. 27, 1975, he married P.J. Blevins. She survives.
He attended Windfall Pentecostal Church. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 685 and the American Legion.
He graduated from Windfall High School in 1961. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1963.
He retired from Chrysler on Feb. 29, 2004 after 27 years.
He is survived by his wife, P.J. Ryan; his children, Joseph and wife Sheila, John and wife Lisa, Shawn and wife Christine, Tracie and husband Jade, Stacie and husband Kellie, and Melissa; his grandchildren, Robert, Ryan, Steven, Zack, Aaron, Trey, Andrew, Jacob Taylor, Torey, Lexie, Autumn, Tyller, Teah, Peighton, Sam and Noah; a great-grandchild, Trendidy; his siblings, Sandra and husband Richard, James Nicholas, Ernest D. Rebecca and Sara and other extended family, Kane, Dennis, Marie, Brandi, Tom, Etta, Bill and Kim.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and one brother.
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at Porter Funeral Home in Tipton. Family members will conduct the services. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.

J. Allan Trimble
J. Allan Trimble, 88, of Elwood, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Community Parkview Care Center in Elwood after an extended illness.
He was born Aug. 30, 1918, in Tipton County, the son of Guy Trimble and Ethel (Smith) Trimble.
He graduated from Windfall High School in 1936 and was a veteran of World War II where he served in the United States Army.
He married Lillian Wyatt Aug. 17, 1941.
He was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church and the Elwood Masonic Lodge Quincy No. 230 F. & A.M.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Trimble of Elwood; a daughter, Dianna Callaway of Elwood; a son, Terry and wife, Marsha Trimble of Anderson; four grandchildren, Shelley and husband, Ryan Delphia of Anderson, Monica Cole of Rochester, Minn., and Kelsey and Chase Callaway of Elwood; three great-grandchildren, Logan Adair of Rochester, Minn. and Jordan and Ashlyn Delphia of Anderson; two sisters, Carolee Courtney of Summerset, Ky. and Catherine Brown of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. John Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Masonic memorial services will begin at 1 p.m. followed by the funeral service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Missionary Baptist Church through the funeral home.
Alice I. Mickle
TIPTON – Alice I. Mickle, 92, of Tipton, died Oct. 8, 2007, at Tipton County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 4, 1914, in Miami County, to Pearl and Angie (Bragg) Morrison.
She graduated in 1933 from Bunker Hill High School and was a member of the Windfall United Methodist Church and the Hazel Dell Floral Society.
She retired in 1974 from T-Way In Kokomo.
She married J. Howard “Mick” Mickle Nov. 3, 1949. He died Dec. 22, 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda and husband, Jerry Lovell; a son, Francis and wife, Diane Mickle; grandchildren, Scott and wife, Luci Lovell, Jim and wife, Elizabeth Lovell, John and wife, Marisa Mickle, Kristina Mickle and Kimberly and husband, Andrew Valdez; stepgrandchildren, Trisha and husband, David Foor, Tracy Lovell and Tina and husband, Bill Sims; great-grandchildren, Emily, Mason, Jensyn, Brayden, Kolton, Justin, Kyla and Josie, who will be born in December; stepgreat-grandchildren, Zachary, Cyrissa, Christopher and wife, Leah, Daniel, Rae Anne, Eric, Derek, Corbin and Delani.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mick; a son, Richard; one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at Porter Funeral Home in Tipton. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery
in Windfall.

Lawrence Hoback
WINDFALL – Lawrence L. “Bud” Hoback, 83, of Windfall, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at Tipton County Hospital.
He was born June 15, 1924, in Howard County, the son of Lawrence and Maggie L. (Schinlaub) Hoback.
He was a 1943 graduate of Kokomo High School.
Bud married Mary Shroyer Feb. 2, 1946 in Kokomo.
He served in the United States Army as a Tech Sergeant from January 1943 to January 1946.
He was a member of the Windfall United Methodist Church. Bud was also a member and past master of the Windfall Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite Valley, Indianapolis.
Bud’s greatest joy in life was his personal relationship with God and his unconditional love for his family. If every wife, son, daughter, grandchild and great-grandchild had someone in their life like Bud, the world would be a better place.
Bud was a lineman with Public Service of Indiana for 38 1/2 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Shroyer Hoback of Windfall; a son, Greg Hoback and wife, Ellen of Greentown; granddaughters, Leigh Swartzendruber and husband, Brian of Greentown, and Jennifer Degan and husband, Randy of Avon; and great-grandchildren, Katherine Swartzendruber and Luke Swartzendruber.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Marjorie Bocock; and sisters, Olive Hundley and Verda Phillips.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at Hasler Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main St., Greentown, with the Rev. Chris Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Mississinewa Cemetery
in Wabash County.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.

Susan W. Arnold
MUNCIE – Susan W. Arnold, 62, formerly of Elwood, passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born Oct. 29, 1944, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Roberta R. (Finley) Scea and Wallace A. Scea M.D.
Susan grew up in Elwood and attended the University of Evansville and Memphis State University.
She worked as a bookkeeper for four medical specialists in Lexington, Ky. Susan retired and moved to the Muncie area.
She was a member of the Gethsemane United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her father, Wallace A. Scea, M.D., Muncie; one niece, Eve Moore and husband, Chad of Lake Tahoe, Calif.; and two great-nieces, Lillie Moore and Anna Moore.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Roberta R. Scea and her sister, Mary McCullar.
There will be no services or calling. Private entombment will be at Elm Ridge Cemetery.
The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Robert L. Wooldridge
SHARPSVILLE – Robert LeRoy Wooldridge, 89, Sharpsville, died Oct. 28, 2007, at Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born Sept. 22, 1918 in Sharpsville, the son of James Leroy and Nancy Katherine (Bennett) Wooldridge.
He married Dorthy M. Uttinger. She died March 2, 1984.
He was a farmer and also raised and showed Oxford Sheep and hauled cattle. He spent most of his life in Prairie Township in Tipton County.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II.
He was a member of the Napthau Lodge No. 389 F& AM, Order of Eastern Star No. 148, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason of Indianapolis and member of the United States Trotting Association and former member of the Mt. Lebanon Friends Church. He attended the Liberty Baptist Church and Cross Roads Community Church.
Survivors include his companion and friend, Marian Johnson; nieces and nephews, John Gordon, Richard Mugg, Jane Worl, Phil Davenport, William Mugg, Terry Uttinger, Gene Uttinger and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife; and four sisters, Josephine Reading, Frances Gordon, Rachel Davenport; and Ellen Ruth Mugg and one nephew, Neil Pender-grass.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Sharpsville Cemetery, with the Rev. Jeff Harlow and Bob Lawson officiating.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Boyer Funeral Home. Masonic services will be Thursday evening at the funeral home.
