Victor S. Warner

Victor Stanley Warner, 82, Anderson, died Dec. 1, 2004, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born Aug. 20, 1922, in Curtisville, and returned to Anderson five years ago. He resided in Florida for 25 years. He married
Martha A. Miller on April 5, 1944.
He was a supervisor for General Motors for 21 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. He served in the U.S. Army as a T-5 in the 809 Tank Destroyers Battalion during World War II.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda L. and Larry Beouy of Van Buren, and Janet S. and Bruce Harris of Summerville, S.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Stanley E. and Mary Ann Warner of Anderson; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank E. and Ruby B. (Brown) Warner; wife of 60 years, Martha A. (Miller) Warner, on July 27, 2004; and a brother, Weldon M. Warner, in 1974.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with the Rev. James Storey of the First Nazarene Church officiating with the Rev. Kenneth Fuller assisting. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge cemetery Mausoleum in Muncie.
Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons International or First Church of the Nazarene.
Georgetta I. Gruel

ALEXANDRIA - Georgetta Ilene (Cole) Gruel, 78, Alexandria, died Nov. 30, 2004, at Liberty Village Nursing Home in Muncie.
Survivors include daughters, Claudette Wihebrink, Georgetta (husband, William) Lucas and Paulette (husband, Tracy) Dyer; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Raymond Gruel, died in 1979.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Burial will be in Gravel Lawn cemetery, Fortville.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Thelma Holloway
Thelma Holloway, 87, formerly of Pendleton, died Dec. 1, 2004, at Wildwood Nursing Home in Flowery Branch, Ga. Arrangements are pending at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory Bright Chapel, Pendleton.

FORTVILLE - Elizabeth J. 'Bid' Jones, 81, Fortville, died Dec. 1, 2004, at Hancock Memorial Hospital in Greenfield.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, William R. Jones; daughter, Cindy (husband, Tom) Armstrong; and a grandson, Jesse Battaglia.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Seals Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gravel Lawn cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

ELWOOD - Eulalah M. 'Toots' (Moore) Holmes, 80, Elwood, died Dec. 1, 2004, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.
Survivors include brother, Robert (wife, Mary) Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Holmes.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jackley-Landrum Funeral Home with the Rev. James Waters officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Barbara J. Wilson
July 8, 1921 - Nov. 30, 2004
ELWOOD - Barbara J. 'Bunny' (Wickard) Wilson, 83, Elwood, died Nov. 30, 2004, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital.
She was a registered nurse for the Army and later for Dr. Wally Scea in Elwood.
Survivors include a special niece, Shirley Wilson; and two great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Her husband, Robert A. Wilson, died Jan. 15, 1985.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Elwood City cemetery with the Rev. Cindy Osgood officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Dunnichay Funeral Home.

Janice M. Lyons

DANIELSVILLE, Ga. - Janice M. Lyons, 67, Danielsville, Ga., died Nov. 28, 2004, at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Ga., after a brief illness.
She was born May 27, 1937, in Gosport, Ind., and had lived in Middletown and Sulphur Springs most of her life before moving to Georgia in 1984. She graduated from Pendleton High School in 1955 and had worked at Next Day Apparel Inc. in Ila, Ga., for several years.
She was a former member of the Middletown Nazarene Church and a member of the Eagle Nest Ministry in Ila, Ga.
She is survived by three daughters, Marcella Jane 'Marty' (husband, Rick) Hollenback of Danielsville, Ga., Lisa Marie (fiance', Frankie White) Granger of Ila, Ga., and Debbie C. Lyons of Danielsville, Ga.; a son, Allen Dale (wife, Rita) West of Danielsville, Ga.; nine grandchildren, Tammy, Christina, Ashley, Amber Nichole, Isiah, Chance K., Canyon C., Amber and Bryan; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Arthur Dale (wife, Joyce) Hancock of Danielsville, Ga., Terry Lee (wife, Melinda) Hancock of Indianapolis, Steven Earl Hancock of Danielsville, Ga., and Michael (wife, Arla) Hancock of Marion; two sisters, Roberta Ann Ball of Marion and Phyllis Jean Hymer of Bogart, Ga.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. and Violet Marie Hancock; a son, Dana Karl Bishop; a brother, Robert Charles Hancock; a sister, Myra Jane Fridley; and a sister-in-law, Emma Lou Hancock.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, with the Rev. David Whitteberry officiating. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

William R. Morris

ALEXANDRIA - William R. 'Bill' Morris, 64, Alexandria, died at his residence after a brief illness.
He was employed by Hi-Top Enterprise as a handyman.
Survivors include two brothers, Terry W. Morris and Earl L. Morris.
Cremation will take place. There will be no public services.
Arrangements are being handled by Whetsel Funeral Service.
Jerry J. Orr
Aug. 21, 1952 - Nov. 29, 2004
Jerry Joe Orr, 52, Anderson, died Nov. 29, 2004, at St. John's Medical Center after being stricken suddenly at home.
He was a tool designer for Chatsworth Products Inc.
Survivors include a daughter, Lindsey Orr; mother, Joan (Wallace) Babb; brother, David Orr; two grandchildren, Sierra and Jayden; and a nephew.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Anderson Memorial Park cemetery with Paul Rebert of Grace Baptist Church officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are being handled by Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Deigh-Dee Huffman
Feb. 9, 1978 - Nov. 28, 2004
Deigh-Dee Royzee (Lowe) Huffman, 26, Anderson, died Nov. 28, 2004, at St. John's Medical Center from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
She was born Feb. 9, 1978, the daughter of Bruce Lowe and Linda K. Ledbetter. She attended Daleville High School and lived most of her life in Anderson. She also attended the Parkview Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed interior decorating, singing karaoke, being a mother and living life.
Survivors include her father, Bruce Lowe of Anderson; stepfather, Jeffrey Smith of Xenia, Ohio; sons, Phoenix Huffman of Daleville and Braidon Huffman of Anderson. Also surviving are fiance', Tim Woolum Sr. of Anderson; a sister, Yolanda M. Williams of Noblesville; five aunts, Ruby (husband, Don) Rinker, Julie Dryden, Cathy Eckelbarger, Sharon Sizelove and Gay Gibbons; nieces, Cierra K. Ramsey and Sabree G. Neff; nephew, Mason T. Epperly; special cousins, Sammy Dryden and Donny Dryden; her fiance's sons, Chris Woolum and Timothy Woolum Jr.; and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda K. (Ledbetter) Smith; and a cousin, Jeremy Bliss.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Walk cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Velma Turner

DALEVILLE - Velma 'Mell' (Michael) Marvell Turner, 78, resident of Daleville, died Nov. 29, 2004, at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born April 16, 1926, in Anderson, the daughter of Oliver and Arvilla Lawrence Michael. She had been a homemaker most of her life and was a lifelong resident of the Daleville community.
She was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Anderson Aerie 174 and attended Main Street Church of God in Anderson.
Survivors include her husband, Chester Turner of Daleville; two daughters, Aloma Sue (husband, Floyd 'Skip') Smith of Brownsburg and Jennifer Turner of Anderson; six sons, Hubert (Dorothy) Marvell of Muncie, James Marvell of Anderson, Mike (Nancy) Marvell of Rockford, Ill., Paul (Leann) Marvell, Robert (Shelia) Marvell and Chester Turner of Daleville; three sisters, Leona Dowden of Pendleton, and Pearl Paschal and Leotta Mae Scott of Anderson; a brother, Robert (Annis) Michael of Anderson; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eldon Marvell; her parents; three sisters; and two brothers.
Services will be held at noon on Friday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 S. Walnut St., Daleville, with the Rev. Don Billey officiating. Burial will follow in Saunders cemetery in Daleville.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
