Ned A. Boyer Sr., 74, West Lafayette, died at 5:42 p.m. Monday (Dec. 8, 2003) at Heritage Healthcare Center in West Lafayette.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home, 6368E U.S.-24, Monticello.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with calling two hours prior to services, at the Monticello Christian Church. Rev. Chris Dodson will officiate.

Burial will be at the IOOF Riverview Cemetery in Monticello. A military flag presentation will be conducted at the cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association, in care of Miller-Roscka Funeral Home, 6368E U.S.-24, Monticello, IN 47960.

Doris Bushey

Doris Bushey, 68, Angola, died on Tuesday (Dec. 9, 2003) at the Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.

Calling will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens.

Preferred memorials are to the American Cancer Society.

Judith L. Brannon

Judith L. “Judy Bug” Brannon, 44, Huntington, died at 2 p.m. Monday (Dec. 8, 2003) at her home.

Calling will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, with Pastor Elzie Spencer officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.

Preferred memorials are to the American Diabetes. Association in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Clyde E. Colclesser

Clyde E. Colclesser, 88, Wabash, died at 7 p.m. Monday (Dec. 8, 2003) at the Wabash County Hospital.

Calling will be held from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service Friday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. Pastor Ken Parsons will officiate.

Burial will be at the Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.

Preferred memorials are to St. Peter’s United Church of Christ.

Ben M. Courtney

Ben M. Courtney, 65, Bluffton, died at 8:55 a.m. Sunday (Dec. 7, 2003) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling ise from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Thoma/Rich, Hewitt & Chaney Funeral Home, 308 W. Washington St., Bluffton, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Matt Hartsell officiating.

Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.

Preferred memorials are to the Indiana Chapter of the American Diabetes. Association, or to the family.

Charles E. Snyder

Charles Emerson Snyder, 74, LaFontaine, died at 12:27 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 6, 2003) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, 104 S. Main St., LaFontaine.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with calling one hour prior to services, at the LaFontaine United Methodist Church. Rev. Larry Ray and Rev. Dale Linhart will officiate.

Burial will be at IOOF Cemetery, LaFontaine.

Preferred memorials are to Wabash County Home Health Care or Cardiology Department, in care of McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, 104 S. Main St., LaFontaine, IN 46940.

Clara Mae Burnworth

Clara Mae Burnworth, 99, formerly of Lagro, died at 8:09 a.m. Friday (Dec. 5, 2003) at the AmeriCare Living Center in Wabash.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Chris Martin officiating.

Burial will be at the Lagro Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the Lagro Presbyterian Church, in care of Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, IN 46992.

Wilda M. Pearson

Wilda M. Pearson, 91, Connersville, died Thursday (Dec. 4, 2003) at the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dale Cemetery, Connersville, with Dr. Dick Haynes officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette County Humane Society, in care of Showalter-Blackwell-Long Funeral Home, 920 Central Ave., Connersville, IN 47331.

Arley L. Johnson

Arley L. Johnson, 93, Fort Wayne, died Tuesday (Dec. 2, 2003) at his winter home in Florida.

There will be no calling. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Chapel, 6600 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.

Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home, 420 W. Wayne St., Fort Wayne, is in charge of arrangements.

Ethel M. ‘Andy’ Kline

Ethel Muriel “Andy” Kline, 80, of Hartford City, died at 2 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 30, 2003) at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.

Calling was Wednesday at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City, and two hours before the 11 a.m. funeral services Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Hartford City. Rev. Philip E. Abram officiated at the service.

Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie, where a graveside military service will be held by the Moyer-Poole American Legion Post, Hartford City.

Preferred memorials are to the Trinity United Methodist Church, Hartford City.

Jay H. Hiatt

Jay Harvey Hiatt, 88, 5143W Division Road, died at 1 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 3, 2003) at his home.

Calling will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the Glancy Funeral Homes - H. Brown & Son Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Veryl C. Roth officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Etna Cemetery.

Alice M. Meadows, 82, Fort Wayne, died Saturday (Nov. 29, 2003) at her home.

Calling will be from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery.

Athena B. Whitesell, 92, a former resident of Andrews, died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 2, 2003) at the Norwood Nursing Center, Huntington.

Calling will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery.

Hildreth A. Sweeney

Hildreth A. Sweeney, 96, a resident of the United Methodist Memorial Home, Warren, and a former resident of Garrett, died at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 23, 2003) at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

Calling will be at 10 a.m. Monday, one hour before the 11 a.m. funeral service at the United Methodist Memorial Home, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren. Pastor Scott Moss will officiate. Burial will be at the Mt. Etna Cemetery.

The Glancy Funeral Homes - H. Brown & Son Chapel, Warren, was in charge of the arrangements.
