Allen Mynatt, 68, of Edgewood, died Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.

Morgan Allen Neal, 77, of Alexandria, died Wednesday at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a plumber with Kuempel Service Heating and Air Conditioning, Cincinnati, and a member of Plumbers and Gasfitters Union Local No. 59 AFL, Cincinnati. He also was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Jackson Neal; sons, Keith Neal and Greg Neal, both of Ft. Thomas; sisters, Dorothy Gish, Hallie Moore and Bertie Wiggins, all of Ft. Thomas, Lotta Cash and Anita Mascari, both of Cincinnati; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Friday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, 7730 U.S. 42, Suite C6, Florence 41042.

Franklin Leroy Ritter, 80, of Newport, died Tuesday at Cambridge Health Care Center in Hamilton, Ohio. He was a florist. His wife, Thelma Ritter, died in 1994.
Survivors include a son, Edward L. Ritter of Falmouth.
Services will be at noon Friday at Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.

Dallas Shelby, 91, of Fairfield Glade, Tenn., formerly of Latonia, died at 12:35 p.m. Monday in Crossville, Tenn. He was a retired railroad worker and a member of Latonia Baptist Church. His wife, Marie Shelby, died in 1980.
Survivors include sons, Bill Shelby of Fairfield Glade and Bob Shelby of Waxhaw, S.C.; a daughter, Elsie Hibbard of Winston-Salem, N.C.; seven grand children and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia, is handling arrangements.

August Toebbe, the son of Gary R. and Joanne M. Hadley Toebbe of Villa Hills, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood, hours after birth.
Other survivors include brothers, Nathan Toebbe and Derek Toebbe at home; a sister, Katelyn Toebbe at home; and grandparents, Leo and Jeanne Toebbe of Villa Hills and Rosemary Preston of Bethel, Ohio.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger, is handling arrangements.

Lurie Brown Wells, 88, of Peach Grove, died Tuesday at River Valley Nursing Home, Butler. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Twelve Mile Baptist Church, Pendleton County. Her husband, Elva Wells, died in 1994.
Survivors include daughters, Anna Mary Tackett of Falmouth and Marjorie Adams of Peach Grove; a son, Gary C. Wells of Kettering, Ohio; a stepson, Charles Wells of Falmouth; 16 grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Burial will be in Peach Grove Cemetery.

Curtis J. Lusby's carvings reflected love of outdoors
Curtis J. Lusby was an outdoorsman and wood carver whose keen intellect was not dulled by the passing years.
"He was always reading, always keeping up with things," said a son, Ronald Lusby of Alexandria.
"Even to the end, his mind was very sharp."
Curtis Lusby, of Cold Spring, died Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital East in Ft. Thomas. He was 81.
Mr. Lusby was a native of Newport.
He worked 20 years for Nutone Inc. of Cincinnati, which manufactures kitchen appliances and door chimes.
When Mr. Lusby retired in the 1970s, he was the company's manager of material control and in charge of procuring materials used in the manufacturing process.
He was a past president of the Campbell County Game and Fish Protective Association and edited the association's newsletter.
"He loved the outdoors," said Ronald Lusby. "He was active not only in the Campbell County Game and Fish Protective Association, but also the League of Kentucky Sportsmen."
Mr. Lusby's love of nature was mirrored the meticulous wood carvings he made of birds and water fowl.
He also was a member of the Newport Elks.
"He was very sociable," said Ronald Lusby, adding that people always knew exactly where they stood with his father.
"He was very outspoken. I admired him.
"He was always very straightforward and there was never a doubt about what was on his mind."
Mr. Lusby also leaves his wife, Claire Lusby; other sons, Larry Lusby of Covington, Terry Lusby of Mountain View, Calif., and Bary Lusby of White Villa; a daughter, Connie Mahaney of Ft. Thomas; a sister, Gertrude Clephane of Ft. Thomas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the Radel Funeral Home in Highland Heights.
Visitation will begin there at 6 p.m. Monday.

Frances M. Bokelo, 80, of Erlanger, died Monday at her home.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Leisure Timers, Elsmere Seniors and St. Henry Church Altar Society, Elsmere. Her husband, George W. Bokelo, and daughter, Beverly Bokelo, both died in 1986.
Survivors include a sister, Verona M. Worster of Erlanger.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.

Anita Stewart Nelson Jasper, 80, of Covington, died Wednesday at Rosedale Manor Nursing Home, Covington. Her husband, Benjamin Jasper, died in 1994. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Covington, and the Charles L. Henderson American Legion Auxilary Post 166 in Covington.
Survivors include daughters, Joan Smith and Deborah Washington , both of Covington, and Mildred Saxon, of Columbus, Ohio; sons, Milton Jasper, Cincinnati, and Herman Jasper, Covington; brothers, Roy Nelson, Covington, William Nelson, Cincinnati, and Robert Nelson, Maysville; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 7:30 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church, 120 E. Ninth St., Covington. Visitation will be there from 6 p.m. until the time of services Monday. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell. Jones & Simpson Funeral Home, Covington is in charge of arrangements.

Ida Frances Maxwell, 89, of Carrollton, died Thursday at Extendacare of Bedford.
She was a homemaker and a member of Moxley Baptist Church, Carroll County. She attended Worthville Christian Church. Her husband, Otha Maxwell, died in 1984.
Survivors include a daughter, Belle Furnish of Carrollton; a son, Larry Maxwell of Wheatley; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, Carrollton. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Worthville Cemetery.
