Terry Overstreet, 61, of Campbellsville, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Ky.

Son of Gladys Hovious Overstreet of Bardstown, Ky., and the late John Thelbert Overstreet, he was born on Nov. 16, 1950, in Campbellsville. He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and a graduate of Taylor County High School.

Survivors also include a daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Lee White of

Scottsburg, Ind.; and a brother, Charles Overstreet of Kansas.

He was also preceded in death by several siblings.

Frances Henderson Lamb, 83

Frances Henderson Lamb, 83, of Crescent View in Paint Lick, Ky., died Monday, April 30, 2012, in Stanford, Ky.

Bessie Mae Moss Janes, 77

Bessie Mae Moss Janes, 77, of Greensburg, Ky., died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Grandview Nursing Facility in Campbellsville.

She was the daughter of the late William Bradley Moss and Clara Beatrice Keltner Moss. She was married to Willard “Bill” Crouch Janes for 59 years. He survives.

Funeral was Friday, April 27, at Pickett’s Chapel United Methodist Church in the Portland Community of Adair County. Burial was in Tarter’s Chapel cemetery. Bro. Herbert Janes officiated.

Ancil Burress, 81

Ancil Burress, 81, of Elk Horn, Ky., died Monday, April 23, 2012, in Lebanon, Ky., after an illness.

He was the son of the late Artie Bottoms and Elliott Burress of Taylor County.

Survivors include two sons, Kendall Burress and Neal Burress, both of Campbellsville, and a daughter, Leshia Ford of Campbellsville.

Funeral was Thursday, April 26, at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville.

Burial was in Brookside cemetery.

Chapel Carlton Puryear officiated.

William E. “Bill” Ford, 77

William E. “Bill” Ford, 77, of Campbellsville, died Monday, April 23, 2012, in Greensburg, Ky., after an illness.

He was the son of the late Bulah Gilpin and Tessie Leonard Ford.

He was married to Eula Mae Ford, who survives. Survivors also include two sons, Gerald Thomas Ford of Campbellsville and William Kent Ford of California.

Funeral was Thursday, April 26, at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville.

Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Bro. Bill Warren officiated.

Frances A. Cox, 62

Frances A. Cox, 62, of Cottage Court in Campbellsville, died Monday, April 23, 2012, after an illness.

She was the daughter of the late Ella May Parrott and William Basil Wethington.

She was married to Michael R. Cox, who survives.

Survivors also include three daughters, Linda Wright of Campbellsville, Michelle Jones of Louisville, Ky., and Francene Taylor of Columbia, Ky.

Funeral was Thursday, April 26, at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Dorothy May Ford, 63

Dorothy May Ford, 63, of Campbellsville, died Thursday, April 19, 2012, at her home

She was the daughter of the late Sam and Nellie Jane Gaddie Ford. Funeral was Saturday, April 28, at Mt. Union Baptist Church in Greensburg, Ky. The Revs. Mike Ash and Andre` Calhoun officiated. Burial was in Mt. Union cemetery.

William Louis Higginbotham, 72

William Louis Higginbotham, 72, of Campbellsville died Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at his home.

Son of the late Georgia and Orville Higginbotham, he was born on Nov. 7, 1937, in Monticello, Ky. He worked at the former Naval Avionics Center in Indianapolis, Ind. for 37 years as a quality assurance engineer. After retiring, he moved to the Green River Lake area in Campbellsville where he enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking.

He was married to the former Patricia Mulry of Indianapolis in 1970. She survives.

Louise B. Phillips, 94

Louise B. Phillips, 94, of Campbellsville died at 5:22 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, in Campbellsville.

Daughter of the late L. Leonard Brown and Rena McGee Brown, she was born in Fayetteville, Tenn. on March 11, 1916. She was a member of Early's Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was married to George Richard Phillips on Sept. 1, 1934. He preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1995.

Ira Lawson, 90

Ira Lawson, 90, of Campbellsville died at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, in Campbellsville.

Son of the late General Lawson and Lina Thomas Lawson, he was born on Jan. 7, 1920, in Taylor County. He was a member of the St. Andrew United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

He was married to Mary Barnett on Feb. 14, 1942. She survives.

Mary Hovious White, 82

Mary Hovious White, 82, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Casey County, Ky., died at 2:48 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, in Georgetown, Ind.

She was the daughter of the late Luther Alvin Hovious and Ethel Taylor Hovious.

She was married to Thomas A. White Sr. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1998.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters, Richard Corbin of Louisville, Glendora Cecil and Roseanna Lynn Hurst, both of Lawrenceburg, Ky., Thomas White Jr. of Eubank, Ky. and Rodney White of Pee Wee Valley, Ky.

Calvin McFall, 81

Calvin McFall, 81, of Duffy Street in Campbellsville died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness.

He was the son of the late Roy McFall Sr. and Mattie Pearl Stearns.

He was married to Doris Jean McFall, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include four sons and a daughter, Larry McFall, Donald McFall and Randy McFall, all of Campbellsville, Danny McFall of Lebanon, Ky. and Connie Tate of Bardstown, Ky.

Loretta Sue Druin, 47

Loretta Sue Druin, 47, of Campbellsville died at 3 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, in Campbellsville.

Daughter of Noel B. Druin and Mildred Hughes Druin of Campbellsville, she was born in Merced, Calif. on June 20, 1963.

In addition to her parents, survivors include a brother and a sister, Greg Druin of Campbellsville and Paula Ann Tally of Killeen, Texas; and four nieces, Christina Crimminger, Sarah Tally, Courtney Tally and Bethany Druin.

Clarence 'Tenny' Swears, 74

Clarence "Tenny" Swears, 74, of Campbellsville died at 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, in Greensburg, Ky.

The son of the late Clarence L. Swears and Ada Jackson Polley Swears, he was born in Taylor County on Aug. 19, 1936.

He was married to Marjorie Brown on Jan. 12, 1957. She survives.

Survivors also include a son and a daughter, Kevin Swears and Dawn Wise, both of Campbellsville.

Funeral was Tuesday, Oct. 5 at the Lebanon National cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. The Rev. Jim Durham officiated.

Peggy Elmore, 82

Peggy Elmore, 82, of Campbellsville died at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, in Greensburg, Ky.

Daughter of the late William Shelby Portman and Anna Lee Casey Portman, she was born on Aug. 16, 1928, in Grayson County, Ky. She was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church and was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She was married to Mac Elmore on July 8, 1950. He preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 2000.

Paul E. Smith, 79

Paul E. Smith, 79, of Campbellsville died at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, in Campbellsville.

Son of the late Samuel Garnett Smith and Mary Rice Smith, he was born March 19, 1931, in Springfleld, Ill. He was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church, where he had been a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was a member of Gideon's International, an amateur radio operator and a retired employee of the U. S. Postal Service. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of staff sergeant.

Shirley McKay, 65

Shirley McKay, 65, of Eve Court in Campbellsville died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness.

Daughter of the late Lucian Vaughn and Louise Bridgewater, she was a member of Bethel AME and a former employee of Union Underwear.

She was married to Eugene McKay, who survives.

Burlie Hadley, 78

Burlie Hadley, 78, of Campbellsville, died at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, in Campbellsville.

Son of the late Allen Hadley and Mary Linda Simpson Foster Hadley, he was born in Adair County, Ky., on Nov. 4, 1933. He was a member of Flatwoods Separate Baptist Church in Adair County. He was a retired custodian with Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

He was married to Earnestine Sneed on Sept. 29, 1962. She preceded him in death on March 21, 2002.

Joyce Spurling, 77

Joyce Spurling, 77, of Campbellsville, died at 1:35 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, in Campbellsville.

She was the daughter of the late Joe Latimer and Opal Christie Latimer.

She was married to Charles Spurling on July 8, 1960. He survives. Survivors include a daughter, Sherri Brewer of Campbellsville.

Funeral was Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville.

Burial was in Brookside cemetery.

Elizabeth Arinsmier, 77

Elizabeth Arinsmier, 77, of Campbellsville, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, in Campbellsville.

She was the daughter of the late Rutherford Benjamin Morgan and Seattie Hensley Morgan. She was married to Edward Arinsmier Jr., who preceded her in death on June 13, 2000. Survivors include a son and a daughter, Matthew A. Blaine of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Rosa Clements of Campbellsville.

Cremation was chosen.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville was in charge of arrangements.
