GREENVILLE - Mary W. Keith, 68, of 96 Wright Loop, Greenville died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at 7:49 a.m. at her home after a short illness. She was born Aug. 7, 1936, in Muhlenberg County, the daughter of Ruben Groves and Ludie Gray Groves. She was a housewife and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben (1978) and Ludie (1985); her husband, Walter Keith Jr. (1980); three brothers, Otha Groves (1973), Floyd Groves (1977) and Jewell C. Groves (2002). She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debra K. Keith (1957); and a son, Terry W. Keith (1966).
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda (Bud) Bratcher of Drakesboro, Brenda (Johnny) Groves of Graham and Vicki (Billy) Smith of Greenville; two sons, Russell (Barbara) Keith of Lexington and Ronnie Keith of Greenville; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, the Rev. Lee Bryant Groves of Nortonville, Joe Groves of Cleaton and Billy Groves of Bremen; one sister, Bonnie M. Keith of Dawson Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at 2 p.m. from Gary's Funeral Home in Greenville by the Rev. Terry Groves. Burial will be in Lee Hill cemetery in Depoy. Pallbearers will be Phillip Groves, Mike Knight, Chadd Davis, Jeff Hope, Eddie Ward and Delmar Gene Keith. Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gary's Funeral Home in Greenville and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Louis Finley Hodskins

Louis Finley Hodskins, 81, of Owensboro died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at the Bishop Soenneker Home in Knottsville. He was born in Whitesville on Aug. 10, 1923, to the late Robert and Ola Wahl Hodskins. Mr. Hodskins was a member of the St. Martin Catholic Church and worked as a mechanic for many years. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Hodskins, in 2000.
He is survived by three sons, James Shock of Owensboro, John Louis Hodskins of Panther and Richard Dale Hodskins of Elba; four daughters, Anita Michaels of Los Cruses, N.M., Mary Beck Lines of Whitesville, Theresa M. Webster of Owensboro and Diane O'Nan of Calhoun; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Truman "Bud" Hodskins of Delaware, Marvin Hodskins of California and Ray Hodskins of Philpot; three sisters, Ruth Farline of McLean County, Josephine Hines of Philpot and Debbie Kipling of Owensboro.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at St. Martin Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Glenn Funeral Home and after 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. today.
Betty Offutt Haire

Mrs. Betty Offutt Haire, 77, of Owensboro and formerly of Madisonville died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System.
Born Aug. 16, 1927, in Madisonville, she was the daughter of the late Elijah Benjamin and Lena Belle Hewlett Offutt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Mitchell Haire, on Nov. 10, 1985; two sisters, Eunice Offutt Brown and Essie Offutt Furgerson; five brothers, James Hammock, William, Everett, Clifton Ray "Bootsie" and Robert S. Offutt.
Mrs. Haire was a member of Christian Assembly and retired from National Mine Service Co. in 1990. She was also an honorary Kentucky Colonel.
She is survived by her caregiver, Nina S. Offutt of Madisonville and beloved nieces, nephews and close family members.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy G. Ellis officiating. Burial followed in the Grapevine cemetery in Madisonville.
Memorials may take the form of donations to the Christian Assembly Church, the Alzheimer's Association or the charity of your choice.
Irene Blake Hancock

GREENVILLE - Irene Blake Hancock, 89, of Greenville died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville after a brief illness. She was a waitress for many years at the Greenville Hotel Restaurant and a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville.
Survivors include a sister, Rendie Young.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Gary's Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial: Evergreen cemetery in Greenville. Visitation: From 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ruby Richards

FORDSVILLE - Ruby Richards, 79, of Fordsville died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Hancock County and was a member of Newton Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Richards, on Aug. 9, 1981; a daughter, Doris Brewster, in 2004; and five other infants.
Survivors include four sons, Bob Richards of Reynolds Station and Gene Richards, Jim Richards and Ronnie Richards, all of Fordsville; four daughters, Kay Seckel of Bowling Green, Lou Sanders of Fordsville, Gail James of Magnet, Ind., and Beverly Smith of Clarksville, Tenn.; two brothers, Leamon Fuqua and Rex Fuqua, both of Fordsville; a sister, Zelpha Leathem of Fordsville; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville, with burial in Newton Springs cemetery in Hancock County. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Sandra Darlene Harper

CENTRAL CITY - Sandra Darlene Harper, 48, of Central City died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was a childcare giver and a member of Church of Christ in West Virginia.
Survivors include a son, Seth Harper; and a sister, Cheryl Goode.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tucker Memorial Chapel. Burial: Bethlehem cemetery in Bremen. Visitation: From 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Julia Marie Wolfe

CALHOUN - Julia Marie Wolfe, infant daughter of Richard D. and Joni Willis Wolfe of Calhoun, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
Other survivors include a brother, Richard Wolfe Jr.; a sister, Katherine Wolfe; her grandparents, the Rev. Bill and Nancy Willis; and a great-grandmother, Myrtle Douglas.
Graveside services: 2 p.m. today at Island Community cemetery. Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Emil Novak

CLOVERPORT - Emil Novak, 76, of Cloverport died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at his home. He worked at the Summit as a gardener and was a Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Marian Novak; and a sister, Eileen Hoppee.
There are no services or visitation. Wallace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

HAWESVILLE - Mary E. Elmendorf, 87, of Hawesville died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City, Ind.
Survivors include two sons, David Elmendorf and Chris W. Elmendorf; and a daughter, Sarah Jane Marshall.
Services: Noon today at Taylor-Raymond-Spear Funeral Home in Lewisport. Burial: Park Lawn cemetery in Evansville. Visitation: After 10:30 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Juanita C. 'Nunn' Wilkerson

HENDERSON - Juanita C. "Nunn" Wilkerson, 76, of Henderson died at 6:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at her home. Mrs. Wilkerson was a member of Earl Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Donald E. Wilkerson of Henderson; seven daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Kenny Russell of Sebree, Debbie and Ralph Mitchell of Reed, Cindy Turner of Illinois, Donita and John House of Henderson, Vicky Nally of Evansville, Lisa and David Hill of Henderson and Belinda Clary and Mike Royster of Henderson; four stepdaughters of Florida; three sons and daughters-in-law, Coleman and Kay Nunn of Texas, Dickey and Sandy Nunn of Henderson and Roger and Liz Nunn of Owensboro; one stepson of Florida; a sister, Ida M. Hartig of Evansville; a brother, Marion Courtney of Corydon; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilkerson will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. Kenny Wilkerson and Pastor Jack Ross officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and again from 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
Active pallbearers will be the grandsons, Coleman Nunn Jr., Ken White, Ritchie Nunn, Ralph Mitchell Jr., Robert Clement Jr. and Jimmy Riggs Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be the granddaughters, Leslie Nunn, Amanda Frederick, Amy Forker, April Mitchell, Kim Crowley, Crystal Lindsey and Dawn Denise.
