Thomas A. Thomasson

UTICA - Thomas A. Thomasson, 83, of 892 Browns Valley Red Hill Road, Utica, died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Leisure Years Nursing Home in Owensboro. Thomas Hardwick Thomasson was born May 23, 1921, in Livia to the late Bill and Mayme Hatfield Thomasson, was later married to the former Joyce Ray Jarvis on Aug. 27, 1949, and was better known as "Tommy" by his family and friends. Tommy had retired from Tennessee Valley Authority Paradise Plant and was a member and past deacon of the Buck Creek Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II where he was a participant in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and a recipient of three Bronze Stars. Tommy was also a member of Livermore Lodge 186 F&AM and was a member of Bremen Chapter 96 of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Robert and Carol Thomasson of Utica and William "Bubby" and Dorinda Thomasson of Livermore; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Allen and Becca Thomasson, Ben Thomasson, Matt Thomasson, all of Louisville, Michael Thomasson of Livermore, Michelle and Allen Miller of Owensboro, Dewayne Pendley of Moorman, Amanda Arant of Owensboro, Andrew and Stevie Arant of San Diego; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Curtis Thomasson of Livermore; a sister, Ila B. Boone of Livia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Buck Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff French officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill cemetery in Livermore with military honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 5415. Friends may visit with the Thomasson family from 2 until 7 p.m. today and from 8 until 10:30 a.m. Monday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel. Masonic services and video tribute of Tommy Thomasson's life will be held at 5 p.m. today at Muster's in Livermore.

The Thomasson family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Buck Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Rev. Jeff French, 4161 Highway 431 North, Calhoun, KY 42327. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Muster's in Livermore.

John L. Willoughby Jr.

GREENVILLE - John L. Willoughby Jr., 50, of 1800 State Route 1473, Greenville, died at 6:03 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2005, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born Aug. 27, 1954, in Bowling Green and was a self-employed truck driver. He was a U.S. Marine veteran and enjoyed trucking, farming, spending time with family, friends and his dog, Jake. He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Margaret Willoughby; and a brother, James Willoughby.

Survivors include his wife, Terri Blades Willoughby of Greenville; two sons, John Willoughby III of Lexington and Tristen Willoughby of Central City; six daughters, Stephanie Willoughby and Cindy Jones, both of Lexington, Laura Flener of Owensboro, Tiffany Willoughby and Cassie King, both of Central City, and Kellie Blades of Island; five grandchildren; three brothers, Roger Willoughby and Kenny Willoughby, both of Bowling Green, and Joe Pedigo of Greenville; and two sisters, Martha Schrimster and Linda Burch, both of Bowling Green.

Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with the Rev. Danny MooneyHan officiating and assisted by the Rev. Doug Kirtley. Burial will be in Worthington's Chapel cemetery in Island. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City.

Christine Northcutt

HENDERSON - Christine Northcutt, 78, of Henderson died at 5:32 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2005, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Sales Northcutt, in September 1979; and a daughter, Karen Denise Stewart, in October 2004.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Koerber of Henderson and Debbie Evans of Owensboro; two sons, Marshall Northcutt and Mark Northcutt, both of Henderson; two sisters, Beth Bradshaw of Covington, Tenn., and Delores McDivitt of Dyersburg, Tenn.; two brothers, Hugh Dunn of Evansville and Gene Dunn of Pensacola, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Christine Northcutt will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 31, at Tapp Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joseph Tricquet officiating. Burial will be in Fernwood cemetery in Henderson. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Jessicca Stewart Special Fund, c/o Independence Bank.

Oscar W. Bozarth

HARTFORD - Oscar W. Bozarth, 92, of Hartford died Friday, March 25, 2005, at Professional Care and Rehab Center in Hartford. He was born in the Fairview Community in Ohio County, was a farmer, a member of Dundee Masonic Lodge 733 F&AM and was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Neighbors Bozarth.

Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Bozarth Murphy of Columbus, Ind., and Jean Bozarth Hitchcock of Evansville; two grandchildren, Holly Ann Hitchcock of Clayton, Mo., and David Brent Murphy of Columbus; two great-grandsons; and one niece and one nephew.

Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at Duke-Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Hartford. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery in Hartford. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Monday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ernest Ray Feldpausch
03/29/2005

Ernest Ray Feldpausch, 69, formerly of 5503 Webster Drive, died at 1:40 a.m. Sunday, March 27, 2005, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. He was born Oct. 20, 1935, in Daviess County and retired from sales at Lincoln Income Insurance. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and enjoyed being with his six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and hunting, fishing, camping, University of Kentucky basketball and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Ruby Dant Feldpausch.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carol Feldpausch; three sons, Joe Feldpausch and his wife Linda of Owensboro, David Feldpausch and his companion Steve Hinton of Evansville and Steve Feldpausch and his wife Janet of Owensboro; two daughters, Debbie (Birdie) Vowels and her husband Allen of Owensboro and Kathy Maske and her husband James of Owensboro; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lettie Bickwermert of Owensboro and Opal Clark of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are at noon Wednesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Meredith officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Larry W. Boyle

Larry W. Boyle, 63, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Owensboro, died Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Hospice of the Woodside in St. Petersburg, Fla. He was born on May 5, 1941, in Owensboro. He was a former policeman for the Owensboro Police Department, was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Boyle; and by his mother and stepfather, Edith Moreland Epley and John D. Epley.

He is survived by his loving wife, Delorice Embery Boyle; two daughters and their husbands, Dana and Jerry McCarty and Shelly and David Blythe, all of Owensboro; four sons and their wives, Larry Douglas and Sandra Boyle of Owensboro, James R. and Donna Boyle of Springhill, Fla., Christopher and Stacy Browning and Patrick and Susan Browning, all of Greenville; 17 grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Epley and Judy Law and husband Tommy, all of Owensboro; two nephews and several cousins.

Services are at noon Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at James H. Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Owensboro. Burial is in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Minnie Frances Yeckering (Camfield)

Minnie Frances Yeckering (Camfield), 73, of 44 Dixiana Court, Owensboro, died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, March 27, 2005, at her home. She was born Sept. 16, 1931, in Robertson County and retired from General Electric in 1975. She was a member of Parrish Avenue Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening, reading, reading the Bible, crossword puzzles and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillian Stinson Sikes.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Yeckering and his wife Karen of Utica and Randall Dale Yeckering of Owensboro; two daughters, Brenda Havener of Owensboro and Sharon Gibson and her husband Shang of Lancaster; seven grandchildren; 10 1/2 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Charles Sikes and George W. Sikes, both of Owensboro.

Services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce House officiating. Burial will be in Hortons Chapel. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Robert Junior Sanders

CLOVERPORT - Robert Junior Sanders, 71, of Cloverport died Sunday, March 27, 2005, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was a farmer and a member of Free Will Baptist Church in Cannelton, Ind.

Survivors include his wife, Albertia Faye Leistner; six sons, Cornell Dennison, Donald Dennison, Raymond Allen, Nelson Keith Sanders, Stephen Eugene Sanders and John Fredrick L. Sanders; six daughters, Sandra Dennison, Caroline Sanders, Lavonn Dennison Boles, Sharon Allen, Sheila Holland, Telly Sanders; three brothers, William J. Sanders, David E. Sanders of Paul E. Sanders

Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wallace-Burns Funeral Home in Cloverport. Burial: Cloverport cemetery. Visitation: From 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Jo-Anne Barry Mosque
03/29/2005

Jo-Anne Barry Mosque, 81, of 631 Sycamore St., Owensboro, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, in Owensboro. She was born Nov. 10, 1923, in East Orange, N.J., was a clerk typist and of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Moss was an orphan and was a good woman and an animal lover.

Survivors include her friend, Joseph E. Willett of Indianapolis.

Services are at 11 a.m. today at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Patterson officiating. Visitation is after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa cemetery.

David Earl Conkwright
03/29/2005

PADUCAH - David Earl Conkwright, 65, of Paducah died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday, March 27, 2005, at his residence. He was a native of Owensboro, worked as an asbestos worker and was a member of International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local 37 out of Evansville. He was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Hazel (Roberts) Conkwright; and two brothers, James Conkwright and Rex Conkwright.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Judith Gaddis Conkwright; two daughters, Jacquelin Anderson of Boston and Stefanie Babb of North Port, Fla.; a son, Jeffrey Conkwright of Marshall County; a sister, Francis Hall of Fordsville; two brothers, Richard Conkwright of Owensboro and Charles Conkwright of Paducah; and four grandchildren, Kelssie Conkwright, Morgan Anderson, Aspen Phillips and Bryson Conkwright.

Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church with Father Larry McBride officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Paducah. Prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Jimmy Autry

HORSE BRANCH - Jimmy Autry, 62, of Horse Branch died Sunday, March 27, 2005, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. He retired from J.T. Nelson Co. of Louisville and was a member of Old Salem Non-Denominational Church near Horse Branch.

Survivors include his wife, Reba Jones Autry; a son, Jimmy Wayne Autry; and two daughters, Joyce Gum and Debbie Wilburn.

Services: 1 p.m. today at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial: McCord cemetery in Ohio County. Visitation: After 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
