He is survived by his Daughter: Jeanne (Burl Wells) Spurlock, Prestonsburg, Ky.; Step-Daughter: Pat Stinson, Springfield, Ohio; Grandson: Burl Wells "Beau" Spurlock II, Prestonburg, Ky; 2 step-sons, Carl Thomas "Bud" Williams, Fairbranks, Alaska and Roger Williams, Meally, Ky.; 2 granddaughters; 9 step- grandchildren; 17 step-great-grandchildren; 7 step-great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lida Turner Castle 10-11-2001. Also surviving is his first wife, Lorraine Stambaugh Stapleton, Paintsville, Ky. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Ruth Lyons, Lillie Butcher, and Dorothy Auxier. He was a Veteran of World War II and owner of Jack's TV Service until his retirement. Graveside Service at Johnson County Memorial cemetery, Lake Road, Staffordsville on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 1 p.m. Rev. Larry O'Bryan officiating. Military gravesite service was conducted by DAV Chapter 15 of Salyersville. Friends may call Tues. 6-9 p.m., Paintsville Funeral Home. Burial at Johnson County Memorial, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
